The Marathon is an intense challenge in which gamers must accomplish a series of in-game challenges as fast as they can. In the first marathon, gamers competed to see if they could complete 30 challenges in the course of a month. In this marathon, gamers will compete to complete 60 challenges. Best part? Complete at least 1 challenge and you get an emblem!​

Any game is eligible. However, there is a maximum of two challenges per game. Once the game has been used for two challenges, then the game is ineligible to be further used.

To record your progress, copy and paste the challenge list below and strike through each challenge you've completed. Furthermore, whenever a challenge is completed, a screenshot, picture URL, or video must be provided in order for the achievement to be validated. It is preferable to make a new post of your progress instead of editing your previous one. Double posts are allowed in this thread.

The challenges can be completed in any order. If there is some reason you are unable to complete a challenge, I will provide you with another challenge.

If you competed in the first The Marathon, then you cannot use the same games for the same challenge. You can use those games for other challenges though. Link to the first The Marathon can be found here.

The deadline to complete the challenges is March 31st.

Alright. I think I can bang a few of these out right now. I have quite a few games digitally on my PS3 so some of these won't require the changing of the discs. It's also fortunate because I was playing a couple of these a few days ago and with #42 I left off before fully pursuing that relationship. I must admit that a few of these had me using three systems at a time, such as running Metal Slug 7, Fantasy Life, and Pokémon Black Version all at the same time (DS, DSi, 2DS). A couple of these require time to set up but so far the ones I've done just require turning on the game (Game Over). Some of these games I got for free, some are discs others are digital. It's simple when I can bust through three at a time. GTA was easy (Phoned Trevor, went to bar).

Edit: The Final Fantasy Legend! Just remembered that eating 'meat' can transform monsters into other monsters! So I did that.

I almost think I could, but then there are ones that I literally have no idea what I could do for them.

For #4 there's an achievement in The Darkness 2 where you throw a guy into the sky and if you can kill them by shooting them before they fall back down you get the skeet shoot achievement. Could I use that for #4?

Denied. As above, you need to provide pictures, screenshots, or videos for your challenges to prove they were actually completed. Sorry dude!

Curious. Must have skipped that part. Can the invalid become valid with photos? Or must I begin all over again (which I guess is what I'll be doing anyways)?

Edit: This stupid piece of shit isn't letting me access my photos. I have a crummy cellphone camera, as it's the only way to record the events on my televison and handhelds (not the vita, those photos are top notch: internal camera). So until I can figure this out. . .

Edit: Okay, so I found the photos but there is a terrible problem with a few of them. For whatever reason, these photos have a transposed 'phantom' image of a lamp and picture frame of some sort. How it got there is anyone's guess because I didn't take a picture of a lamp shade and a frame that I don't own. These images are blurry, so I'm taking the liberty of getting this done as fast as possible an using paint to tell you what the hell that blur is.
