The Monotype Challenge

1st Update, Fire Challenge, Black 2:

-started the game up, heard the usual begining of game spiel
-found Bianca, chose Tepig as starter (I'm not a fan of the Gen V starters, but whatcha gonna do? It could be worse).
-defeated Hugh in the game's first battle
-passed through Route 19 (wish there was an option to skip the how to catch a Pokemon tutorial), made it to Flocessy Town
-bumped into Alder
-defeated Hugh at Flocessy Ranch
-found the ranch owners' Herdier (I had forgotten that the Neo Plasma grunt throws a TM at you, I thought he was trying to hit me with a Poke Ball lol)
-Went back to Aspertia City, defeated Cheren. It was an easy battle. Just spam Tackle and use a Potion or 2.
-got through what was left of Route 20
-arrived in Virbank City
-entered Virbank complex, caught a Magby and Growlithe, Tepig evolved

Hey uh... I'm kind of confused, I wanna sign up for this again, but I'm not sure if previous progress is counted... I signed up on the old thread, but never really got anywhere on my bug run, as I was playing Firered first and the classic "The save file was deleted..." thing happened, and I never posted an update.

So I'm just wondering whether or not it counts with previous progress or not. Also, I'm not sure if I had previous progress, if I have to start on Firered again. I don't want to, (leave the save file deleting games for last.), and I'd rather start again on Pokemon X.

Yeah you don't need to put Previous Progress since you had to end your old challenge.

-got the radio card
-challenged Whitney, it took a few tries but i won eventually
-got the watering tool and defeated that "tree"
-grinded on trainers
-made it to Ecruteak, saw the dogs, and had the skirmish with mr.noms
-challenged Morty (hooty basically swept him)
-grinded all the way to Olivine
-grinded through the lighthouse
-caught a magikarp and named it Friend
-evolved Friend into a gyrarados
-taught Friend surf and rode on it all the way to Cianwood
-saved in Chuck's gym

I started Y for my Normal challenge and I have 1 badge so far, I haven't done anything really for my Bug or Rock runs,, I will give a better update for all of them when I beat them or make significant progress. Also I started Emerald for my Ghost challenge on my phone but of course my phone broke so I lost all my progress, I was 7 badges in too! :'( I don't want to play through it again right now so I'm going to take a little break from my little ghosties. So until I feel like continuing my Ghost run, and to take a little break from my other types I'm going to sign up for another one. This time with the Water type! I started yesterday and I'm 3 badges in, so far it's been okay. Would have been really good if not for leveling up that damn Magikarp to evolve it.

2nd Update, Fire Challenge, Black 2
-did everything I needed to do in Virbank Complex
-Defeated Roxie and got my second badge. It's still pretty early in the game, so the battles aren't all that tough. Not sure why I was the only one in the club besides Roxie's band...
-Made my (second) debut at PokeStar Studios. Stella stars as the Riolu Girl in: Brycen-Man! I love PokeStar Studios....
-Roxie's father finally decided to go back to driving boats, so I headed to the Virbank dock
-chased down and kicked the crap out of a couple of Neo Plasma grunts
-sailed to Castelia City
-explored the city a bit, battled a few people, including the Game Freak staff
-headed to the gym to bump into Iris, then went to the Castelia Sewers
-ignored the obviously placed grunts and explored what part of the sewers is currently accessible (with Hugh in tow)
