1st Update, Water Challenge, Ruby:
-started up the game, helped Professor Birch out with figuring out my name and gender
-got out of that truck (who tells their kid to sit in the back of a moving truck?), settled in at home
-said hi to Brendan, then saved Prof. Birch's ass from that Poochyena with Mudkip. Named the Mudkip Mudkipz....only to realize later that it would have that name when it evolves lol.
-strolled on through Oldale Town and up to Route 103 to kick Brendan's ass
-Returned home, got the Pokedex and the Running Shoes (why do kids need special kinds of shoes to run? Pretty sure May doesn't start the game with stilettos on)
-went through Route 102, beating up the kids and taking their money, like a good trainer
-got to Petalburg, bumped into Norman/Daddy (who apparently has nothing better to do than wait for me to get 4 badges. Dude, go home to Mom, I'm sure she's lonely)
-Helped Wally catch his Ralts. And by helped I mean watch him do all the work
while I smoked a blunt
-Cut through Petalburg Woods, beating up more kids and taking their money. Hey, its me or them.
-Defeated a Team Magma grunt. It seems that Hoenn's police and intelligence services are rather lacking, since a 12 year old has to deal with criminal organizations. Wait, I'm 21. But still.
-Caught a Wingull, named it Trumpets (I'm gonna name all my pokes this time)
-fought my way through to Rustboro, which was a bit annoying because all the trainers had Grass types for some reason.
-made it to Rustboro, took on the Rock Gym. I think you can guess what happened. Geodudes+4x Water weakness+Water Gun=dead Geodudes. And a dead Nosepass.
-saw a Magma grunt run away with the Devon Goods
-got the HM for Cut, caught a Zigzagoon to be an HM slave. His name is Mr. Slave.
