It's been awhile, but here we go:

6th Update, Water Challenge, Ruby:
-After getting Surf, the first thing I did was haul ass over to Mauville so I could cross the water on the route to the east and finally get the Good Rod so I could add another Water Pokemon to my team
-Caught a Carvanha. Her name is Nibbles.
-Shut down the generator in New Mauville for Watson. But why do I have to do it? Why can't the old man do it?
-Ran all over western Hoenn exploring the places I could now access with Surf. So much running.....
-Lord Jelly evolved into Tentacruel
-Began the long hike up to Fortree City. That route is longer than I remember.
-Gave Team Magma an ass-whupping at the Weather Institute. Numels and Poochyenas are not a good idea against someone with a mono-Water team. Start bringing some Electric types you guys, or don't bother.
-Nibbles evolved into Sharpedo.
-Then laid the smack down on Brendan.
-Finally arrived in Fortree, then got the Devon Scope from Steven.
-Entered the Gym. The regular Trainers were easy enough, but Winona wasn't so easy. I was afraid for a bit there that her Dragon Dancing Altaria was gonna sweep my ass, but it somehow didn't and I pulled through. At least now I can use Fly.

And I learned that in Gen 3, both of Sharpedo's STABS are special-based, but it has better Attack than Sp.Attack. =(

Completed my FireRed Normal Monotype - It was very fun little run through the game ^^ And I absolutely loved my team! =)

So I took a couple days break and decided to hit up Ice next. I hacked in my baby Seel (dawww) and he evolved when I was leaving the S.S. Anne. I was going to hold off on fighting Surge since all I had was a water type, but since he evolved, I hit up that 3rd gym and it wasn't much of a problem.

Started flawless platinum. Picked fire as my starter and boxed as soon as I caught zubat. Caught a budew which quickly evolved into rosillia. Defeated the first gym leader with these two. So far so good.

Flawless platinum second update. I've caught koffing and grimmer in front of valley wind works at lvl 13 and 14. Zubat evolved into golbat. With a team of 3 lvl24s and Roselia at lvl26 I took on the 2nd gym and basically only used koffing and golbat. She was no match for poison. (Not that surprised)

I completely stuck with my dragon mono type on Blaze Black. The first dragon I can get is Snivy (Superior is a dragon in the hack) but if I pick Snivy I have to fight Chilli in a rotation battle with him having all the fire starters + Pansear with acrobatics and me having just snivy/servine. So I'm asking if I can Pokegen in a few dragon eggs so I can beat Chilli just so I don't have to spend 3+ hours grinding off of lvl 3-6 Patrats. If you let me I would give them all egg moves.

- trained some more on my way down to fuschia city
- was given a super rod
- finally arrived in Fuchia city, healed up and used Lily to challenge the gym
- earnt the soul badge
- headed up cycling road for the trainer battles
- taught Zula Poison Jab
- finally found my way to cerulean, gym was empty
- visited the cape, laughed like a psycho when trainers challenged me with grass types
- kept hearing things about the power plant so went to investigate
- got roped into catching a thief
- went back to cerulean, beat up foreign thief, retrieved machine parts
- got the power plant running again
- cerulean gym still empty
- met a strange guy in the underground tunnels who stole my rage candy bar
- ran around lost for a while, finally sussed out the pokeflute channel
- removed snorlax from front of diglett cave
- mde it through cave without incidentand headed to pewter through viridian forest
- trained on the trainers inside the forest
- arrived in pewter and took on Brock
- struggled greatly against Brock, came down to Rene vs his last Kabutops and a tonne of potions
- somehow won the rock badge
- headed down thrown Viridian City and Pallet town to route 10
- started journey to cinnebar island
- made it to the island, bumped into blue, found out cinnebar gym had moved
- travelled to seafoam islands and challenged Blaine
- defeated Blaine and earnt the volcano badge
- Zula learnt flare blitz
- finally found misty, got insulted thoroughly before she returned to gym
- defeated misty >that'll teach her< she was surprisingly easy compared to Lance
- flew back to cinnebar to show blue my badges, he ran back to his gym
- stalked him there and kicked his ass, collected my 16th badge
- visited professor oak and reieved rock climb, and access to mt silver
- the grinding to defeat red begins.

-I accidentally thought this was a nzulocke because i'm dumb and released my "dead" whooper, BurgerKing. So that was ****, it took me a ****ing while to catch. I have too many mons anyway, so one less isn't much of a difference.

-Almost at the top i tumbled and fell.
-But i picked the pace again!
-I also caught a bidoof and called her Booteh.

Finally moved along to Crystal for my Water Ultimate. Getting passed Red at such a low level took a hell of a lot of Full Restores/Revives, especially his Venusaur, but I did it! Off to Emerald hopefully some time soon, I plan to finish my Rock and Bug challenges first though.

Also Necrum I don't know if I already mentioned this but my Ghost monotype is going to be on hold for a little while. I played through it back when you did that last event where you can hack in any one Pokemon of your type into your challenge, I hacked in a Gastly for my Emerald Ghost mono and played until I was close to the 7th/8th gym but when I got a new laptop and transferred everything my save file got corrupt and I have to start from just before the first gym. I don't look forward to doing it again right now but when I do would I still be able to use that Gastly since I hacked it in during the event?
