Well, since I'm a beginner hacker, and I always love challenging games...
I thought of modifying Fire Red and make it harder:
-Wild Pokemon are 3 levels stronger
-Pokemon gain 10-15% less EXP
-Trainers and leader's Pokemon are up to 5 levels stronger.
-You gain 10-25% less money from battles
-Items are up to 25% more expensive.

Other ideas:
-HG/SS sprites will replace FR Pokemon sprites.
-Might change the title screen.
-*routes will be changed a little, making it more like a puzzle.

And the hack idea sounds KIND of interesting, only I don't like the money gain and item cost idea. But the rest sounds pretty challenging. I like a challenge :3
