Dart / Toxicroak, Male, Adamant, lv51
Ability: Dry Skin
Drain Punch, Strength, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch
Thoughts: Definitely did come through after evolving and learning a Poison-type move to differentiate himself from Ziggy. He's also more offensive, whereas Ziggy turned into a more defensive Pokemon. Overall, he never really failed to disappoint. Great at taking out Grass types since I don't have any Fire-type moves. Also nice to use him in double battles with Howitzer since he gets an HP gain from Surf. 9/10
Rachna / Galvantula, Female, Timid, lv51
Ability: Compoundeyes
Thunder, Signal Beam, Thunder Wave, Flash
Thoughts: I don't know what Thunder's accuracy is with Compoundeyes and a Wide Lens equipped, but it never missed for me. And a 120 base power STAB attack coming off Rachna's good Special Attack is no laughing matter. She made short work of any Water types that dared to stand in my way. Signal Beam also got a little bit of use in taking out Dark and Psychic types, though I had two Fighting types and three Dark types who tended to take care of those types. Thunder Wave and Flash were almost never used (actually, I think I only used them to make catching Cobalion easier when I went after it). 9/10
Selene / Honchkrow, Female, Naughty, lv52
Ability: Insomnia
Fly, Foul Play, Roost, Night Shade
Thoughts: The last one to evolve also ended up being the one with the highest Attack stat. Though even as a Murkrow, she was a pretty big threat and kept up with my other team members for a while. I was so relieved when I finally got Fly because Peck really wasn't cutting it. I thought Roost would be handy, but I never used it. She has a good HP stat, but low defense, so she couldn't take hits as well as I would've liked (and she also could stand to be a tad faster) but she was generally able to pull through. 8/10
Howitzer / Octillery, Male, Quiet, lv53
Ability: Sniper
Surf, Ice Beam, Bullet Seed, Signal Beam
Thoughts: The first one on my team to evolve, so he seemed really strong at first. Much too slow for my liking, but he did have good bulk to make up for it. His high Special Attack and access to Ice Beam made him my go-to guy for fighting Dragon types (specifically the last gym, which he dominated with some help from Ziggy). Bullet Seed was surprisingly helpful in taking out the Water/Ground toad Pokemon (I can't recall their names off the top of my head). Overall, a decent Water Pokemon who could take a hit and then deal out serious damage. 8/10
Ziggy / Scrafty, Male, Jolly, lv54
Ability: Moxie
Drain Punch, Crunch, Ice Punch, Dragon Dance
Thoughts: Remains the MVP of this team. Great defenses backed up by a high Attack and decent Speed. His moveset barely changed over the course of the game but it didn't really need to. He shakes off just about anything that hits him and then uses Drain Punch to recover what little health he lost. I don't think he ever fainted, even to super-effective hits. He took out Ghetsis's Hydreigon in one Ice Punch. I love this guy. In fact, I'm going to breed one to put on my tournament team because he's just that awesome. 10/10
Sarcos / Krookodile, Male, Hasty, lv55
Ability: Moxie
Crunch, Earthquake, Sand Attack, Dragon Claw
Thoughts: I've got mixed feelings about this guy. On one hand, he's the guy who took out N's Reshiram (man it felt weird to fight that battle without using Zekrom since the whole last segment of the game leading up to it was building up a fight between Reshiram and Zekrom). On the other hand, he's way too frail. His defenses actually look decent in comparison to my other Pokemon, but for some reason, Sarcos just went down way more often than anyone else. He didn't get Earthquake until the battle with Ghetsis so I didn't really get to use that (Dig was his Ground move of choice up until then). I wanted to like him because he looks cool, but he really frustrated me to no end with how much he fainted. I think I should have gone with Intimidate as an ability instead of Moxie. Sarcos was okay when he could one-shot stuff, but when he didn't, he tended to get hurt really bad. 7/10
