Several years ago, a monster known as Gaia, creator of the lands was in a fierce battle against the Hydra, which lived in the vast sea, and it was the creator of the sea.They battled on Taria, a world with strange monsters inhabiting it's seas and lands.
The Hydra was a multiheaded snake like serpent, which granted death to all that it seen.Gaia was never seen, so no one knows of what it looks like, but it was the one who brought luck to who ever seen it.
During the battle, the Hydra gained the upper hand , and almost defeated Gaia, but the creator of land, Gaia, defeated the Hydra with a mighty earthquake, large enough for them both to fall in.The Hydra fell in the hole, and landed in the core of Taria.The beast Gaia, then started to create a land, where it's soul would rest forever.
It created the Outcast Isles, which is where people are banished to when they defy the laws of Taria, which was set by the king of Taria, Ryukoriu.The islands were know populated by a extreme amount of of monsters.
Ever since a strange comet with a black aura landed just about twenty miles off the west coast of the Outcast Isles, a whirlpool formed there, and sailors and fishermen has reported sightings of a strange multiheaded serpent, which was heading to the center of the Outcast Isles, which is where Gaia's soul rests.
You decide to see this creature for your self, and notice that it is the serpent of legends, Hydra, which had a enternal grudge with Gaia.This beast would bring the end of the world, adcording to the legends you heard.You decide to then stop this evil, somehow.
