Do you think having Pikachu as the mascot for Pokemon was a good idea?
I believe so. But it does make a whole bunch of people hate it (poor Pika). It suited the role, being cute and yet strong in battle as portrayed by the anime.

Somehow that just doesn't seem to work. xD Ash wouldn't treat Pachy nice enough -shot-
They just don't fit together as well.
