Episode 444/446 (in Jap): Talking A Good Game/Salon Maiden Anabel Enters!
pokeplayer984 (of Serebii Forums): Now, this ep actually highly centered around Pikashipping, even though many may claim it was an Abilityshipping ep. They mainly talked about the relationship Ash and Pikachu had. You see, Anabel holds a power that lets her link to other pokemon and understand their thoughts and feelings. With this, she can understand what Pokemon say when they talk. Pikachu even mentioned how Ash tends to go further than a normal trainer would. I can't remember the exact words, but the way Pikachu said it made Ash feel embarrassed. ^_^ (I think I even saw a blush.)

In the battle, Pikachu got hit by a Psybeam and got confused. Because of this, he was about to run into a wall while using Volt Tackle. Ash took Pikachu's attack and so that Pikachu wouldn't get hurt.

When did you become an Pikashipper, and why?

Back in 2005 when I returned to the Pokemon fandom, I watched Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero-Lucario. I met PokemonTrainerLisa on the Bulbagarden Forums and I somehow got myself converted into Pikashipping. I, for one support it and think it's cute and fluffy.

Ash and Pikachu have been together since the first episode so it makes sense that the two of them would have a great relationship.

Of course, Pikachu was Ash's first Pokemon, so it's obvious that he loves it and cares about it more than anything. They make such an amazing team in battle, as well.

And also, the fact that Pikachu LOVES being on Ash's shoulder all the time is another thing.

I mean, if you think about it, how many times in the anime do you really see Pikachu just walking along side of Ash instead of being on his shoulder, backpack, or (occasionally) on top of his hat? Hardly ever.

I became one at first because it was just another shipping to join, but I really believe this shipping is possible to happen. (Yeah my answer sucked..but yeah xx3)
