Snype was smacked dead on right in his face by Iron tail and was sent flying straight across the dirt. It left one hell of a Mark on his face as it was even bleeding a little. ["Gah... Your being real stubborn you know that?... gah!"] Snype said struggling to get up on his feet. He was down on one knee now. That attack really did him in.

"Snype comon! Get up!" Mark called out. Snype struggled to stay on his feet but found it troubling. Charmeleon was weakened as well. He wasn't sure if he wanted to go on any further like this so he didn't tell Snype to attack.

["Tell me whats wrong... Comon! I can help!"] Snype said, weakened.

Charmeleon looked up at Snype after a moment, expression full of resentment. She was angry, but she didn't seem to be attacking, or even trying to for that matter. She was still pretty clearly upset though, just by her expression. Valorie noticed that Charmeleon wasn't getting back up and approached her pokemon at a walking pace. Charmeleon's attention was drawn to Valorie as she approached. Dratini became startled and worried for Valories safety, moving to hover nearby her trainer.

Valorie simply walked up to Charmeleon, cautiously reached out her hands, and then hugged the pokemon. Charmeleon didn't immediately react. After a moment though, cue waterworks from Charmeleon. (No pun intended)

Valorie frowned. She wasn't sure what to do about her angsty pokemon. She considered getting help from a teacher, among other things. Dratini meanwhile glanced at Snype briefly. The hugging had offset the tension for her, as it was an indicator that things were alright.

Snype was releived that Charmeleon was alright. He wasn't sure if his mere words helped the cause or not but either way, everything was alright. Snype slowly walked over to the group and smiled. Mark joined them as well. "I... guess Charmeleon just wanted some attention. Being crammed in that ball for such a long time I guess she got Jealous... and wanted to take it out on Dratini and Snype... That's just my guess though..." Mark said.

["You all cooled down that Charmeleon? Sorry if I hurt you too baddly out there. I just did what I had to do."] Snype said being as friendly as usual. ["Heh, Ya know that Iron Tail really hurt! I gotta say Valorie really knows how to train her Pokemon eh?"] Snype attempted to make conversation with Charmeleon. After all of the commotion he hoped she would at least keep it going.

Valorie glanced at Mark. How could he have come to that sort of conclusion, she wondered? She looked back down to the Charmeleon she was hugging. Even in her evolved form, Charmeleon was still shorter than even Valorie. The flame lizard pokemon appeared to have calmed down somewhat.

"...I guess I never realized it was bugging Charmeleon that badly."

She seemed rather disappointed again, this time at herself. She didn't like feeling responsible for the incident. Yet, no excuses were given.

"...I read once that a Ponyta could control what the flames coming off its body burnt. Maybe one of the teachers can help me train Charmeleon to do the same so that I don't have to worry about her accidentally burning stuff."

Dratini meanwhile settled herself against Valories back, peering at Charmeleon from over Valories shoulder.

Mark scratched his guess and assumed he was right. "Just a feeling I had. My pokemon don't recieve so much battle training, but receive alot more training in behaving. I've taught them to act independently... Snype for instance can battle without the need of my command. Just a technique I used for them. Took awhile for Snype to get used to." Mark said. He didn't want to explain the process but it explained why Snype was so calm and different from your everyday Sableye. He decided to go into more detail later.

"Maybe... theres a teacher that specializes in fire pokemon somewhere in the school. I don't really know any names but its worth looking into." Mark said placing his hand on Valorie's shoulder. He looked down at Charmeleon hoping he didn't have any grudges on Mark or anything after that little scene that went on earlier.

"But first, hows bout we all go get those smoothies eh? We'll get the pokemon something good to eat as well. All of them!" Mark said excitedly. All of them... Frillish included perhaps? He didn't want to see that thing again.

Valorie observed Mark for a moment, trying to figure out if he was implying something. She didn't get the impression that he was, though. She silently thought about said fire specializing teacher, but wasn't quite sure how to find him or her. She considered perhaps asking another teacher, a more convenient one, where to find a fire specialist. The idea seemed good to her, and so she silently stowed it away for later, as now wasn't the proper time to carry it out.

She felt Mark place a hand on her shoulder and looked over at him, attention grabbed. Was he trying to say something with the gesture? She vaguely felt like it was a form of affection.

"Alright... just let me patch my pokemon up a bit."

Valorie proceeded to take a yellow spray bottle out of her satchel. It was medicine to heal paralysis. She then promptly let go of Charmeleon and sprayed her with it. Charmeleon closed her eyes reflexively and seemed to become less tense. Valorie then took out Trapinchs pokeball and let Trapinch out. She stuffed the spray bottle back in her satchel and pulled out a similar but light purple looking one. It was a potion. She sprayed both pokemon with the potion before stuffing it back in her satchel as well. Both Pokemon slowly got back to their feet after a few moments. Valorie let out a sigh of relief. Neither had quite fainted, though they had come close. She didn't usually carry revives on her person.

Mark smiled down at Valorie and looked over to Snype who was really beaten up. Mark picked out the Potion that Valorie had given him awhile back and used it on Snype. He let out a little cry from the stinging feeling but was soon back in action and up on his feet. Snype stretched out a bit once he had recovered. Afterwords Mark kneeled down next to Valorie.

"Thanks again Val. Sheesh I could have been burnt to a crisp." Mark said, not wanting to admit he could have jumped out of the way himself but still appreciated the help. Mark brushed off a bit of dirt off of his jacket. All of a sudden Mark grew a bit nervous for some reason.

Bri finally got off that stupid mountain. He looked at Thyme. She seemed to be feeling a little better, though the burns she got were bothering her. She plucked one of the leaves out of her tail and threw it to the ground.
"Ouch! That always hurts!" Thyme said.
"Then why did you do it?" Bri asked.
"It got burned so bad that it was dead. Why should I have a dead leaf in my tail?" she said ruefully.
"Um... Wouldn't it have fallen out anyway?" Bri asked.
"If I had waited for that, it would have turned all brown and nasty! No thank you!" Thyme said. Bri shook his head. He hoped she didn't have anymore dead leaves in her tail. Even missing one was pretty easy to spot. Bri knew any leaves that were plucked out would grow back in time, but she would have to wait for them to grow in. He walked back to the school, wondering if his friends were out of class yet. Mark, Valerie, and Skye. Bri smiled. He hoped they had fun in whatever class they had, because he sure didn't have fun in his! Still, he caught a new pokemon, but he didn't know if Nova would listen to him. His sunburn ached, and he wanted to cry out, but held it inside. What would the other students think if they some him crying like a baby? The fact that he looked like he had been crying recently, what with the puffy red eyes and the nose that was still running, didn't occur to him. He wondered if there was anywhere he could get some ice cream. That would make him feel better. He wanted to go to the cafeteria and see, but he still had to get back to the classroom. He continued walking toward the school.

Skye chased Ellie out of his dorm, laughing. Ellie had stolen his brush while he was working with Rama. She ran down the commons, looking mischievously excited. Rama was clinging to his trainer's head, grinning slightly. Volca had remained behind, asleep.

"E-Ellie get b-back heh-ere!" Ellie yowled a no and kept running, heading toward the main campus. Eventually, Skye caught her with a grin.

"You win!" she cried and the boy laughed. He decided to go for a walk. The others were probably out of classes by now. Heading toward the school, he saw Bri. He blinked in confusion. The other was ahead of him, so he couldn't be sure, but it seemed like there was something wrong. Carefully, he called out, hoping he turned.

"B-Bri!" he cried. "Are-Are yuh-you oh-kay?"

"B-Bri! Are-Are yuh-you oh-kay?" someone said behind him. Bri turned around. It was Skye. Thyme shook her head and sighed.
"Yeah... I'm fine. I was just up in the mountains for class, and Thyme got attacked by a Growlithe. It really scared me! But... I think I'm ok now," Bri said. Thyme looked at Ellie and Rama strangely.

"Uh... Hi there," she said uncertainly. Thyme wondered if Skye would see the extra pokaball on Bri's belt and make the connection. And if he would catch that Bri was calling her by her name and not Snivy. She didn't really care, but still. She didn't want to be here. She was a mess, and her trainer was no better. If she could have her way, they would slink off to the dorm and just stay there. But, if she had her way, Duster, Drizzle, and Nova would all be thrown off the team. Well, maybe not Drizzle. Drizzle could stay.

Skye examined the pair with kind, critical eyes. He figured what had happened, judging by the way they looked. Ellie waved innocently at Thyne, not caring what the Pokemon was called. Skye smiled quietly. "Nuh-ho yuh-you're n-not. Leh-het me heh-elp, stuh-starting with th-th-hat sunburn. Then- hen y-you shhh-Gould r-rest."

Bri looked at Skye. He had forgotten all about class at that point. He looked as though he was going to start crying again.
"I... Uh..." Bri said nervously. Thyme shook her head. She tugged on his hair.
"Calm down Brian! It's fine now! I think you should listen to Ellie's trainer!" she said. She still had trouble remembering human names. Bri nodded.

Skye patted Bri's head gently. "Ih-hit wih-hill be o-kay. Cuh-home on we'll h-h-head to mug-my dorm. Theh-then whe-we'll help y-you f-f-feel better." Rama nodded and Ellie agreed, wiggling from Skye's arms and running back to the dorm room. It was time to put Colca to work. Rama leapt to land on the ground, seeming to be encouraging Bri.

(OOC: Colca? Also, just so I don't make the same mistake twice, Skye is in Entai dorm too, right? If not, I'll go back and change my post.)

Bri nearly jumped out of his skin when Skye touched his face. That had been burned the worst!
"Ouch!" he said. He couldn't help it. His face hurt. Thyme sighed. If Brian hadn't been in pain, this would have been funny. She had no idea he had been that worried. She was fine! She'd never go near another fire type for as long as she lived, but she was fine! Bri followed Skye back to their dorm, wondering which room was his.

(No it's right. Sorry I was using my dumb ipod.)

"Suh-horry," the boy mumbled, hurrying ahead. Rama sighed. Skye smiled quietly, seeing his room. Carefully he opened the door to see Volca weaving carefully with his String Shot on the desk. Carefully, Skye went to the bathroom, Ellie returning with a green bottle in her jaws. Skye smiled at her and took it over to Bri. "Tuh-hake a seat," he told him. "Ah-hand put thi-this on yuh-your suh-hun-burns. Ih-hit's Aloe Ve-Vera. I've h-had t-to use it wih-hith Volca wheh-hen we truh-train." He moved over to help Volca, who was weaving a strange sort of patch.

(OOC: I was just messing with you. I have tpyos all the time. :P )

Bri followed Skye to his room. It seemed to be a little down the hall from his own room. He took off his jacket and set it neatly on the chair before sitting down. Thyme hopped off his should and sniffed the Aloe Vera.
"It smells nice," she mumbled to herself. Bri began rubbing it on his face and arms. He put the bottle down when he was done.
"What about your back and your chest? Those were burned too!" Thyme said.
"Um... They're fine," Bri said nervously. He wished he had worn a shirt when he went swimming in the ocean. He noticed that Thyme was standing as far as she could from Volca. She must have been more shaken than he thought if she was nervous around the Larvesta.

Skye saw this and gave Volca a piece of paper. The Pokemon finished what he was doing and took it. He went off to the cafeteria with the list of food. "Suh-horry," the boy repeated softly, taking what Volca had made and walking carefully toward Thyme. "Theh-These work be-be-better on Pokemon," he explained, carefully putting them on the burns and where the leaves had died. "Ih-hit speeds u-u-up the huh-healing proh-hocess." He glanced at Bri with a soft look of confusion. "Do-ho you want muh-me t-to do it?" he asked kindly. He could kind of understand why they were so uncomfortable. Considering Volca had burnt him pretty badly before, it was a miracle he hadn't been afraid of the hatchling.

"I said I'm fine," Bri said. He was a little self-concious around everyone. Thyme jumped a little at the unwanted contact, but let Skye put those... things... on her back. When he was done, she sniffed at the patches. They smelled ok, and she pulled one so it covered her arm where it had been burned. She looked up at Bri. What was he so nervous about?
"Oh for goodness sakes Brian! Why are you acting like this! Skye was at the beach too, remember? Everyone saw you running around and splashing in the water in your swimming trunks! You'll be fine!" Thyme said.
"But Thyme-" Bri started to protest.
"No! You need to put that stuff on. Do I have to do it for you?" she threatened. Bri sighed. It would be worse if she had to do it, so he reluctantly took his shirt off and began hastely putting more Aloe Vera on his sunburns. Thyme put some on her vines and put it on where he couldn't reach, and when he was done, he put his shirt back on. Bri looked very emberassed about this, but Thyme was more concerned with getting this stuff off her vines.

Valorie looked up at Mark, somewhat blank in expression. She was slightly confused. Wasn't it her fault that Mark almost got burnt in the first place? It certainly felt like it was her fault anyway. She decided not to point that out though, instead opting to put the incident behind them, at least until they could find a teacher to help Valorie with Charmeleon. She was a good trainer, but a good trainer had to know their limits. She did not trust herself to be able to simply train Charmeleon out of her burning habbits without help from a more experienced trainer.

"Shall we head back and look for Brian, Selene, and smoothies then?"

She smiled at Mark as she said that. Charmeleon seemed somewhat downcast standing beside her trainer, though after a moment Valorie placed her hand on Charmeleons head, causing Charmeleon to look up. Looking back on the incident, Charmeleon felt rather guilty. At least she had gotten everything out of her system, though.

Skye smiled again, his placid look appearing to be plastered onto his face. He went to the bathroom and came back with a small pail of water for Thyme to dip her vines in. Ellie sniffed the air and let Volca come in with a plastic bag. The Pokemon dropped it and went to go curl up on the top of the drawer chest. skye sighed and patted his Pokemon's head. Even Volca could feel left out. Seeing the small legs twitch a bit, he knew his Pokemon was pleased. Ellie sniffed in the bag, seeming to fall in for a moment before climbing out with a berry in her mouth. She went away from the bag, placed the fruit between her paws, and began to eat. Skye chuckled and pulled out light foods, including a few cookies. He tossed an apple at Rama, who immediately munched. Carefully he put the bag by Thyme and Bri, letting them choose. Then he saat on the floor beside his Pokemon, looking concerned.

"Suh-ho," he gestured at Thyme and the new Poke Ball. "Whuh-hat are you guh-going to d-uh-do about Gruh-owl-lithe? Yuh-hou muh-hust have cuh-cuh-cuh- caught it. Yuh-You don't s-seem t-to-to be oh-kay wih-hith it."
