Skye blinked up and nearly let out a yelp of surprise. There was a transparent child in front of him, small, with brown hair and a freckled face. The girl blinked blue eyes at him before smiling. "Hi," she greeted. Zorua woke up and looked alarmed. She was alone today. No weird Pokemon in sight. Skye should have felt wary, he knew, but he didn't. He felt more relaxed. She didn't feel like an evil ghost, whatever they felt like. "Humans don't sleep in here anymore. Why are you here?"

    "Eh-Exploring." She tilted her head.

"Really?" She looked over at his three Pokemon that were released. Rama grinned at her while Pala pawed the air, curious. Ellie blinked at her, this making her squeal. "They're so cute!"

"Volca isn't," Rama muttered but grinned. Skye agreed.

The girl smiled, not really getting it. "It's dangerous to be here alone," she said suddenly, looking at Skye with intense eyes. "The Pokemon here can be really aggressive."

Skye shrugged and nodded. "Theh-They're wild. Whuh-Whuh-Whuh-What eh-else is neh-new?" He got up, cracking his bones and stretching. "Reh-heady guys?" he asked, replacing his backpack on his shoulders. His Pokemon nodded, and Pala let out a strange cry. He gave Chingling a nod of thanks before leaving, Zorua and the girl following him.

"So where's your Rotom?" Zorua cracked at her. Rama looked at the female Zorua with a grin. Think she's worse than I am.

The girl huffed. "It's not mine; it just follows me. It's probably being a pest again." Sighing, she floated through the ceiling, looking around. As she did, Skye became aware of the sound of small footsteps. Ellie's ears were twitching and Rama sniffed.

Skye couldn't hold back a smirk. "Coh-Cornering uh-uh-us ih-hin a hah-allway?" He sighed. "Leh-het's guh-ho somewheh-here eh-eh-eh-eh-else." He took off, his Pokemon following as he moved into a room a few feet away.

"But we're trapped here!" Ellie cried as he went inside. Skye pointed toward the window nearby.

"Noh-hot completely." Skye released Volca, who looked around. Pokemon were coming. Ghosts were already floating in, along with Ekans and Koffing leading the way for not transparent Pokemon. Skye took a deep breath and listened. "Uh-hokay," the boy mumbled, clutching tightly to his bag. There were a lot of menacing Pokemon growling and glaring at him. Seemed like fun. "Leh-het's go!" Pala squealed as the other three moved, bursting into attacks. Skye stood back before ducking away from a snarling Poochyena's fangs. This wouldn't be easy but he had to try.

    ~~

Ellie burst through the window, ignoring the glass stuck in her fur as she fled, dragging Pala with her. The baby waddled after her, looking a mess. Pala was drooping, her squeaking wild and confused. "Just keep running Pala!" Ellie cried, firing three Shadow Balls behind her. "We need to get help!" She wasn't much better, a bloody, slightly bruised little feline from having been thrown all over by Psychic moves.

She, to her surprise, wasn't scared. No, she was ticked off! Skye was in serious danger all alone and she was stuck with his freaking pendant around her neck trying to find him help! She would have screamed if that wouldn't have taken all of her energy.

"God where are you people? May human could be dying and you are all taking a nap!" She hollered weakly, letting out a shriek of pain as a Psychic blast blew her forward. This was bad; how had they taken out Volca? How? It had to have been that stinking Wynaut. She had to tell someone, get help, something! She had to... Her consciousness hazed and suddenly went black exhaustion and blood loss catching up to her. As Ellie hit the ground, Pala paused, not getting it. But she had seen Pokemon falling on the ground and not getting up before, like her mommy. Not Ellie too... Pala began to cry and scream, the young Pokemon's cries echoing through the area as a Yamask found them. Still crying, Pala acidently shot Powder Snow, knocking it away. Pala didn't know what to do, except cry and beg for help. PLease!

  • Vincent

Vincent smiled as he followed Sel after the Abra. Shade to like the chase even though it was awkward for him because he knew the Abra and was friends with it.

"Good catch Sel," Vincent said congratulating her. Shade let out another laugh. He had a plan and Vince could tell by the look on his face.

<Well well I once was in this room with loads of shinny disk with numbers on it. One of my friends touched it and he learned a new attack I suggest we go in there> Shade suggested snickering.

"Those things must have been TMs and HMs!" Vince exclaimed kind of happy they must have hit the jackpot. Shade jumped off his shoulder and started walking off toward the location of the room with the TMs and HMs. Shade then looked back and began shaking his tail.

<Coming?> He asked as he began walking again.

"Shall we?" Xack said hand gesturing for Sel to go first.

  • Klu, without any hesitation, bent down and picked up Butler off the Sableye.

    "Butler!" she cried in delight.

"Pichu...." he said weakly, but happily.

Out of the blue, Pichu started glowing white. He began to morph and shift into different shapes, feeling odd in Klu's arms. The light show ended with a blinding finale, reveling a bigger mouse then before.

    "Pika," Butler the Pikachu said.

Klu didn't contain her excitement, jumping around and dancing with her mouse.

  • Valorie's Post

Valorie reached the pokemon center and walked inside, looking around. Huh. It didn't look like Mark was here. She checked with the nurse just to make sure. Darn! It seemed like he was too busy to spend time with her. She frowned disappointedly before deciding that she needed to find something to do to keep herself busy. Her pokemon were still in nearly perfect fighting condition. She then decided she would take a trip to the mountains on her own, and perhaps visit the volcano while she was at it.

Making her way out of the school, Valorie let Dragonair out of her pokeball, who was ecstatic to bet let out after a morning cramped in there. Dragonair affectionately rubbed her head against Valorie, nearly knocking her trainer over due to how big she was. Valorie smiled lightly and hugged Dragonair affectionately, continuing on to speak to her pokemon as if Dragonair could understand non-simple English.

"Ready for some training? First thing's first. I know you're not used to it, but I'd really like to ride on your back places. What do you think?"

Valorie then looked up to her dragonair. She wasn't surprised to find that Dragonair was simply looking down at her blankly, not understanding. She rubbed Dragonair's head lightly.

    "Lift me up?"

She motioned to Dragonair's back as she said this. Dragonair seemed to get it, though she looked a bit confused by the prospect. Valorie was pleased to find that in her evolved state Dragonair could now lift humans as she found herself being lifted into the air by an unseen force. Being weightless felt pretty weird. She was then set down on top of Dragonair, who seemed rather weirded out when Valorie sat down on her back, using her legs to grip and her arms and hands to keep her ballance. Valorie noticed this and lightly rubbed Dragonair's back.

"It's okay. Really! You're just so much faster than I am! Now.."

Valorie pointed off into the distance and Dragonair recognized what she wanted, flying off in mentioned direction. It took her a while, but Dragonair got comfortable with the concept of her trainer riding her. She learned to appreciate the close proximity the two got to have during it. Valorie found that it wasn't the most comfortable of rides, but it was overall fairly pleasant so long as Dragonair didn't try pulling any stunts.

"You're doing a great job, Dragonair!"

Dragonair acknowledged Valorie with a cheery cry as she scaled the surface of the mountains, carrying her trainer up with her with relative ease. It hadn't taken them anywhere near as long as walking would've taken before they reached the upper areas. Valorie rubbed her temples, yawning to try to get her ears to pop. Ugh!

    "Okay..! Stop!"

Dragonair stopped, turning her head to glance back at Valorie. Valorie rubbed her eyes before lifting one leg so that she could slide off Dragonair's side onto the ground, nearly falling as she landed. Geez! It was rather steep! It was then she heard a rather threatening growl coming from a nearby Deino. Valorie became alarmed. She knew all too well that Deino were absurdly aggressive, always completely blind, and they generally bit things to find out more about them. It had probably heard her. She needed to take care of it before it decided to use her as a chew toy.

    "Dragonair, Dragon Rage now!"

Dragonair turned her attention to the Deino and unleashed a torrent of purple flames, easily taking out the small dragon pokemon. Valorie let out a sigh of relief. Deino were dangerous, and really hard to train. It was probably the only dragon pokemon in the world Valorie honestly didn't want to train just due to how hard it would be. She turned to look around again, inspecting the area. Huh. She had thought there would be more pokemon around. She let out Charmeleon, Trapinch and, after some thought, Frillish before proceeding to start walking around. After only a short bit of walking she stumbled across a rather large rock, only to hear a pokemon cry from said rock as she accidentally kicked it. It was Geodude! Trapinch promptly bit the annoyed Geodude, causing a rather quick KO. Valorie snickered at how easily her pokemon were dealing with these threats. Proper training was a blessing, for sure. She kept her eye on Frillish though, who seemed to be behaving. She wasn't sure to expect from that one.

After watching Trapinch KO a second Geodude in a similar fashion she spotted a familiar green body nearby, lurking near a cave leading into the mountainside. Was that an Axew?! Her eyes widened. Now /that/ was a pokemon she wanted to have. She knew all about Axew, being it was not only a dragon, but native to Unova. It was rumored to be one of the top ten hardest hitting pokemon in the world, physically speaking. It's strength was considered to be parallel with many pokemon of legend.

"...Dragonair, use Thunder Wave! Trapinch, Dig!"

Valorie prepared a pokeball, waiting for the combo. Dragonair shot an accurate jolt of electricity, succesfully paralyzing a startled Axew. After suffering from the crippling effects of paralyzation said Axew was made extremely slow and therefore easy prey for Trapinch's extremely powerful attacks. Trapinch burst out from under the startled Axew, slamming into it with intense power. Axew hit the ground and tried to get back up, but seemed to be having extreme difficulty due to Trapinch being far more trained and having the sheer body to back up her attacks. Valorie pulled out and tossed a pokeball, catching said Axew on her first try. She smiled with satisfaction.

"Sweet! I can't wait to tell the others--"

She then wondered if the others were waiting for her somewher. Checking her phone to make sure nobody had texted her she glanced around one last time before returning all her pokemon but Dragonair.

"Let's head to the Volcano now. Lift me up, Dragonair!"

This time Dragonair was happy to oblige, lifting and sitting Valorie down behind her head. Valorie wrapped her legs around Dragonair before pointing off into the distance.

    "That way!"

Dragonair seemed to understand as she flew off in the specified direction. A flight later she arrived at the top of the volcano without even needing to climb. Victory! She would totally brag to Mark later to show off how brave she was. It was then she noticed several Torkoal staring up at her and Dragonair. She would have to clear them out in order to land safely. Seeing as Torkoal were turtles, she went ahead and assumed they were slow and sent out Trapinch, pointing the pokeball at the ground so that Trapinch didn't have to fall.

    "Trapinch, use dig!"

Trapinch appeared, only to have her hide singed as she hurriedly tried to dig away from a group of about six freaking torkoal. The Torkoal looked around cautiously before approaching the hole, only for Trapinch to burst out of the ground below one, hitting it hard from below and knocking it onto it's back. Torkoal managed to withstand the attack but could no longer get back up. Trapinch immediately dug back down, nearly getting ember'd by a few nearby torkoal in the process. She then slammed into the same Torkoal from below a second time, KOing it. This process was repeated several more times until three of the Torkoal were fainted and the other three seemed to realize that they weren't going to win, fleeing. Seeing as they were somehow faster than Trapinch, though everyone was to be blunt, she went ahead and sent Frillish after them.

Frillish floated after the fire turtles, easily outspeeding them. Valorie observed what she did, interested to know what she was capable of. First, Frillish used watersport, coating the area in a spray of water to dampen it up. Torkoal responded by firing off an ember, none of which seemed to have much effect, even combined at this point. Frillish then turned and used Bubble on the nearest Torkoal, seriously hurting it. The Torkoal responded by breathing out a deadly smog,, nearly obscuring Frillish, who seemed to cough and choke on it. It didn't seem to have what it took to KO the ghost pokemon however. One of the Torkoal looked alarmed and suddenly stopped spewing Smog. It proceeded to cough, seemingly unable to continue. Valorie blinked. Had that Torkoal just been disabled?

Frillish proceeded to use bubble on repeatedly on the Torkoal until they all fainted. All of them had become disabled at some point or another, confirming it for Valorie. Frillish looked a bit ill. It then occured to Valorie that Frillish had been poisoned, and was not in good shape. Frillish floated down to the nearest Torkoal and wrapped her tentacles around it. It took Valorie only a moment to realize she was trying to eat it's freaking soul. She ran forward waving her arms, all alarmed.

"No! Bad Frillish! Stop that right now!"

Frillish hesitated but then stopped, letting go of Torkoal and seeming to hang there dejectedly. Valorie noted to herself that ghost pokemon generally only have two modes, mischief and 'the fuel that powers my nightmares'. Valorie realized she hadn't restocked on full heals and simply returned Frillish for then, who didn't seem like she would last much longer in battle. She then proceeded to slide off Dragonair and stand atop the Volcano, looking down at the region. Boy was it hot up there! Being someone from a very cold region of Unova, she found herself quickly overheating. If she stayed this close to the lips of the volcano she might have a heat stroke, or something! She promptly called out for Dragonair to pick her back up and take her back down the volcano-side. Dragonair complied with glee and began to fly down the mountain side, only for a Gligar to come out of nowhere, taking even Dragonair by surprise by flying directly into Valorie's face. Valorie yelped out loud. Oh god facehugger what?! Normally, a Gligar would promptly sting a person after latching onto their face like that. It was how they hunted. However, Charmeleon simply popped out of her pokeball and bit down on Gligar, tearing it away from Valorie before it could hurt her.

Valorie sighed relief, feeling rather violated. Was that a scorpion bat? She had no idea what pokemon Gligar was and was perturbed, to say the least.

"Thanks, Charmeleon... Sometimes being so quick to attack has it's benefits!"

She returned Charmeleon, who had massive trouble ballancing atop Dragonair, before hunkering down on Dragonair. She needed to go back to the Pokemon Center. Luckily Dragonair was significantly faster than her pre-evolution. Not /too/ long later she reached The Academy, returning Dragonair and heading inside for the Pokemon Center. A student with no tact commented as Valorie passed that she smelled like soot, recieving an irritated but silent look from Valorie.

"Note to self. Kick his butt later."

She then proceeded back to the Pokemon Center, handing her pokemon to the Nurse for some healing. She then sat back down and began wondering where exactly the others were at. She crossed her legs and sat back, just deciding to wait there, placing her satchel on the seat next to her.

    MacKenzie's Post

MacKenzie glanced away briefly, deciding that would be a great time to speak up. She honestly didn't have a clue what Brogan thought of her, but that was the point. She /never/ cared what someone thought about her so long as they were thinking about her at all. Being ignored was an entirely different story, though.

"So how's it going, Miss Taylor?"

Ironic sophistication was something Mackenzie could do. Normally one might suspect being called so formally of being an insult, but in Mac's case it was unusually genuine for a person dressed like a crazy.

  • Mark smiled as Butler was reunited with Klu. It had even became a pikachu! Never the less, Mark was happy for him. Snype was scurrying through Mark's bag for some stuff. In it, he found an Oran berry. and a Pokeblock. Immediately Snype ran back into the hole, hopeing that Jerry would follow him back in. "Hey! Snype! Hang on!" Mark said, wondering what was up with him...

Once Snype got back in the cave he looked for Persian again. She was still unconcious... he quickly ran over to the Persian and put the oran berry into her mouth. Hopefully that would heal her. He also placed a Pokeblock next to her, to see if that would satisfy their tastes rather then going after Pichu...

    Jack in Red

    Calnith in Blue

"Dodge it Cerberus quick!" Calnith shouted as he watched Rocky's tail come at him. Right before the tail it Cerberus the Houdour let out one more powerful shadow ball attack as the tail hit him.

"Cerberus return good job," He said as Cerberus hit the ground knocked out. He then took out Cerberus' pokeball and returned the Houndour.

"Alright Shinryu it's your turn you can do it don't let me down," Calnith said as he bent down and rubbed his Gible on his head. Shinryu then ran onto the battlefield and waved at Jack smiling. He liked Jack and didn't want to hurt him or his pokemon but his trainer wanted him to fight and he was going to.

Once again both there pokemon were taken out, Rocky by a Shadow Ball an Calnith's Houndour by a last ditch Rock Smash attack. "Good Work Buddy" Jack said as he returned Rocky to his pokeball then back unto his belt. Jack saw as the Gible ran out unto the battlefield and gave him a wave. Jack sighed this was going to make beating him even harder, Jack stopped for another moment analysing the pokemon he had available to him thinking which would be perfect for the fight ahead of them. "Go Blaze" Jack shouted as he released his Charmeleon from his pokeball. Blaze crossed his arm and let our a small spout of flames from his nostrils as he looked across at the little Gible on the other side of the field. "Don't take him lightly now use Dragon Pulse" Blaze had created a big green ball of energy from his mouth and fired it at the dragon type.

"I have to admit Jack your a better trainer than I expected but this is where you lose Shinryu is my strongest pokemon and overall a powerhouse your Charmeleon looks strong but has no chance. Shinryu use dig!" Calnith shouted as Gible waved to Blaze and then dug a hole into the ground.

The Gible dug a hole in the ground avoiding the dragon pulse and popped out of the ground right in front of Blaze. "Now Dragon Rage! Then use Dig to avoid the explosion!" Calnith ordered. Shinryu the let a ball of orange energy fly from his mouth right at the Charmeleon right in front of his face. He then flipped over and dug a hole into the ground.

Blaze was pissed now dodging his attack, mocking him by waving(he took it as mocking) and the firing something in his face, he was now steaming hot, literally, the flame on his tail got hotter and he now had it out for the little Gibl. Once the Smoke had cleared Blaze looked around the battlefield for the Gible but it was no where to be found. You wanna stay underground I will too "Blaze dig!" Charmander dived into the dirt charging around underground looking for the little Dragon type, spouting flames into every tunnel he found.

"Fool I can't believe you just did that you know the only attack that effects a pokemon while they're underground is earthquake right?" Calnith said laughingly as Shinryu came out of a hole barely dodging flames coming at him. "Earthquake!" He shouted as Shinryu stomped the ground making the entire ground shake.

"This should take care of that Charmeleon," Calnith muttered as he kept his balance the earthquake looked as if it was shaking the entire area
    .

Blaze not being able to find the Gible was infuriating and he dug around in anger for a few more seconds before he felt some rumbling. "Crap he set me up" Jack mumbled as he felt the earth shake underneath his feet "Blaze get out of there!!" Jack shouted concerned for his health. Blaze heard the screams and began digging his way out but he just wasn't fast enough and the shaking got more intense {Done with this} Blade shouted in anger s he began using Flamethrower to propel himself out of the ground like a rocket. When he finally reached the surface he was even more angry then ever before {Ok squirt you have what coming to you} without instruction Blaze fired a Dragon Pulse which was being pushed forward by the flamthrower attack that Blaze fired afterwards "He learnt that in Coordinator class" Jack was kinda impressed and watch as the attack went charging to the Gible.

"Drat it didn't work quick Shinryu use dig!" Calnith ordered. Shinryu quickly dug a hole getting skinned by the dragon pulse. "Now use sandstorm! Calnith orderd as Shinryu jumped out of another hole. Calnith was using dig perfectly if he kept this up he'd win. Shinryu the slammed the ground with his first whipping up a sand storm.

"Use stone edge!" Calnith added sure this would probably end this. Then a circle of large rocks came from the ground and circled around the Gible before flying straight at Blaze. The sandstorm was in favor of Shinryu not Blaze

{You know what I'm tired of this} Blaze shouted, as a Charmander he was used to losing but now as a Charmeleon he was looking to turn that around. The Sandstorm was very bothersome and Blaze had now began ignoring Jacks orders and was acting on his own, typical Charmerleon behavior. Blaze's hands began glowing white "Focus Punch?" As the stones flew in Blaze's direction he began punching as many as possible some passing him and hitting hard, worse part the Sandstorm was still going strong. When the stones stopped Blaze looked in a bad condition but something odd was happening, aside from the fact that he was fighting without Jack saying a word.

Blaze eyes began glowing a bright red and the flame on his tail became bigger and hotter. "Blaze using the Blaze ability!" All fire type moves would be boosted but Blaze activated means that Charmeleon was very weak and Jack had had even less a chance of giving an order. Blaze just began firing a flurry of Flame Burst and Flamethrower attacks piercing the sandstorm and heading straight for the Gible "Come on" Jack had his fingers crossed and watched as Blaze fell to one knee still spouting fire he really was going to go down soon.

"Shinryu get out there use dig again!" Calnith shouted as he watched his Gible get over taken by fire attacks. Shinryu struggled but he got into the ground and came out right behind Blaze. "Now end this use your most powerful move! Outrage!" Calnith ordered sure this would ends this fight.

Shinryu paused for a moment before he attacked he knew an Outrage attack was pushing it and Blaze was already weakened. Instead of using Outrage he used a dragon rage attack.

"What the hell Shinryu I said Outrage not dragon rage! Do outrage if the dragon rage doesn't finish it you fool," Calnith growled angry at his Gible. Shinryu just wanted to beat Blaze not hurt him. As Shinryu watched as he dragon rage flew at Blaze he began to breath heavier he was getting tired to but prepared himself to dodge some flames. If it wasn't for the fact that fire isn't very effect to Dragon-Ground types he'd be done.

Blaze was hit by the Dragon Rage but still looked willing to fight despite the fact that he was flat on the ground, he fired a Dragon Pulse attack which got smaller and smaller as it traveled slowly to the Gible eventually just becomingthe size of a marble before reaching the Gible hitting it on its nose. Jack walked over to his pokemon which was flat on the ground exhausted, Jack could have easily said he would have one if Charmeleon listened but he wasn't a sore loser. "Nice try buddy" Jack whispered as e returned Blaze to his pokeball "Good battle" Jack still didn't know his name "But next time I'm going all out"

Pala abruptly stopped crying. She had to do something... what should she be doing? Ow! A rock slammed into her head. She let out a whine of pain. Ellie had been trying to... find help.

"Ugh..." Speaking of Ellie... The Eevee let out a groan and Pala cried out excitedly. "Pala don't shout... help me up." Pala did better than that, putting the small feline mostly on her back and bringing her forward. "Jeez Pala, take weightlifting classes?" Pala squealed and started walking on all fours. She was tired but this was the least she could do, being the least injured. But... she didn't quite know where she was going.

"Pala..." Ellie murmured, nudging her. "Thataway. Quick..." Pala nodded and began to run forward, moving Ellie onto her back fully. 'Too bad you only have three attacks." Pala ran past the two humans who were going inside. They were doing something dumb. That place was bad. It trapped people and hurt Skye and the others. Though she didn't know Skye, didn't belong to Skye, she liked him anyway. He had found her. She wanted to help, wanted to get help. She was tired... but...

Unknowingly closing in on the Pokemon Center, Pala let out a wail. "Help!" she screamed, her first word. "Help!" She was crying again as she ran into the Center, bleeding badly and slumping to the ground. She whimpered. "Help..." ELlie was unconscious again.

  • (OOC: Got tired of waiting? :3)

Bri was astonished as Skye's cubchoo came running in with Ellie on her back yelling for help. Bri walked over and pulled out a lot of bandages and a revive from the counter and knocked on the door making the nurse start coming. But Ellie needed help now. Bri walked calmly ove and started to put the bandages on her, and then proceeded to use the revive on her. He turned to Pala as Ellie was waking up and started to patch her up as best he could. The little cubchoo wasn't making it easy for him.
"Hey! Hold still and let me help!" Bri scolded. The nurse ran up and put Ellie on a stretcher.
"What happened out here?" she asked.
"I don't know! I'm waiting for Ellie to wake up and this cubchoo to calm down before I ask! Right now, I'm just worried about their wounds, and where their trainer is!" Bri said a little snappy. He couldn't help it. His friend's pokemon come running in without their trainer yelling for help, Bri wants to know why. He turned to Ellie and set Pala down next to her. The nurse had just finished checking her over for any serious wounds. Thankfully, it was nothing major.
"Ellie, what happened? Where's Skye?" Bri asked calmly. He didn't know if he would get anything useful from the two of them. One was almost as young as Bouncy, and the other was already known to panic when her trainer was hurt. Thyme was still standing on the counter, looking very worried.

(I want something to happen before I fall asleep.)

Ellie moaned lightly. "Bri..." She stirred and seemed to a attempt to sit up. She groaned and lay back down. "Pala stop..." The cub obeyed. The pendant's light was gone and she whimpered. "Skye..."

"Help..." Pala mumbled. "Help Skye! Help Skye! Save!"

Ellie made a soft mumble before just raising her head. "Skye got badly hurt in the abandoned dorm... we got overwhelmed. We were strong but... we were all already tired... He got bad... protecting me and Pala while we went to get help. There were so many; it was hard to breathe." She tched. "God... I was so darn useless." She tried to get up and collapsed again. "No... I have to protect him, I am the only one who can protect Skye... I have to..." She whimpered and tried to stand up again. "I don't want..." I don't want to be alone again.

  • (OOC: No worries. :D I think that can be arranged!)

"So, your name is Pala? Don't worry, I'm going to help Skye!" Bri said. Thyme walked over and he picked her up. He also picked up Ellie, and the nurse began to protest.
"Now really! You can't just take my patient away!" the nurse said.
"She isn't seriously hurt! You let Thyme out of here with worse injuries. And she'll be with me! Keeping her here will not make things better. I'll look after her, and make sure nothing gets her! But my friend is in trouble, and he needs help, and she doesn't want to be left behind! So we're going!" Bri said firmly. He shook at the thought of going into that haunted dorm. He scooped up Pala into his other arm while Thyme took refuge on his shoulder and walked out the door. He began to walk toward the Lugia dorm, and every step made him shake more than the last. But, he had to do this! Skye was in trouble, and needed help.
"Don't worry you two, I'm... I'm not going to let anything happen to you, or to Skye! I hope we meet some others, because I'm not sure I can do this alone, but I have to try!" Bri said scaredly as he walked down the path. Each step felt like a thousand, and he knew why he was dreading this. He was terrified of ghosts.

  • Calnith:

"Shinryu return we have to talk later about your preformance," Calnith said returning his Gible. "This fight was useful I'll give you that. It only proved my point my pokemon are just on a diferent level than yours and the next time we fight you won't stand a chance," He added coldly as he began to walk away.

"Remember the name Calnith Sol NeverWind the pokemon trainer that beat you and your imperfect pokemon," Calnith said as he headed toward his dorm room. He stopped by a pokemon center not far from the academy.

Once he reached his dorm room after healing his pokemon he changed into his normal clothes that he usually wears. The jacket, shirt, pants, shoes, rings the whole get up. He then sat down on his bed and let his pokemon out of their pokeballs.

"Pathetic all of you! Your performances were terrible especially you Shinryu! You had that Charmeleon but you held back because you felt sorry for it sloppy!" Calnith roared as he glared down Shinryu. Colossus and Cerberus seemed to laugh at Shinryu but Calnith glared them down also.

"Colossus you lost to that Scizor which was unacceptable and Cerberus next time more intense flames!" He roared as he then looked to the Krabby he just caught. "You new name shall be KingClaw," He said as he watched the Krabby smile he liked the name.

"Let's get going now I want to go to town and buy a few TMs," Calnith said returning all his pokemon as they were annoying him with their presences.

As he walked through town he watched as a boy was showing off some of his pokemon. To be exact it was a Mightyenna and a Pupitar, they looked strong and Calnith felt this would be great training for his pokemon.

"Hey kid how about you fight me let's see if your pokemon are perfect, a double battle let's go," Calnith said as he walked up to the boy pulling out Shinryu and Cerberus' pokeballs.

"Alright let's go red head!" The boy exclaimed as Calnith and the boy walked to their battlefield and people gathered around.

"This is going to be fun," Calnith said as he released Shinryu and Cerberus from their pokeballs.

Ellie shook herself, forcing herself free. She managed to stand in front of Bri, her eyes defiant. "Your eyes show no courage," she remarked coldly. "You shouldn't go there if your fear is making you slow. You will get hurt and Skye will get upset. You should go find the others. I'll do something to make time for you."

"Ellie..." God was that bear a genius or something? "No Ellie," Pala whined. Ellie turned and grinned weakly.

"DOn't worry," she assured. "I'll be okay. After all, these are just flesh wounds. Our human's suffered worse. I'll protect him. I will! I'm strong enough, definitely." WIth a grunt, the Eevee, ran off, blood dripping from her wounds. She called back. "Hurry Bri. Hurry and get the others. We don't have much time. I can feel it."

    Pala shook and wailed. "No..."

  • "Dolt! What do you think you can do in your situation? You're still weak!" Thyme said as she caught the Eevee in her vines. She held her there and tightened her grasp, making sure she could not wriggle free.
"Thyme! Be nice! Ellie, I know how you feel, but Thyme is right! There is no time. You can barely walk, how would you protect yourself? I'll send Thyme to go get help, but I'm coming with you! Now stop squirming and let me put these bandages back on you!" Bri said as he took Ellie from Thyme, who looked tired just from that. He put Thyme on the ground and fixed Ellie's bandages before breaking out into a run. He sent Duster out to help Thyme. She wouldn't be of any use anyway. She had no moves that would hit a ghost type. Bri knew that much. And Ellie's words had got through to him. He was still scared, but he wasn't going to let that stop him.
"You can't always do everything on your own. Sometimes, you just gotta let other people help you. I'm still scared, but when my friends need help, I do it, even though I'm scared. After all, you know me, I'm scared of everthing!" Bri said knowingly to Ellie as he ran.

"Stupid selfrightous little brat!" Thyme fumed as Bri ran off.
"She's just worried about Skye! Come on! I'll go find Snype and his trainer! You go look for Dratini and her trainer!" Duster said as she began running off.
"Hmph, his eyes have no courage indeed! She obviously didn't look very deeply if she thought that was the case! When I get better, I ought to teach her a lesson!" Thyme said angrily as she went off to go find Valorie.

  • Jack stood there for a couple seconds after the boy walked away "Calnith Sol NeverWind" Jack smirked "Next time". He lost that was how it went sometime he could get over it but something about that battle about they way he lost just wasn't right. Jack began writing some mental notes Blade, Rocky and Blaze all battled well that shouldn't have happened Why is my mind dwelling on this

Jack walked over to Brogan and sat beside her, he put up an incredible fight no need to be embarrassed. Mackenzie was still there but his mind was elsewhere not even Brogan was grabbing his interest now. All Jack wanted to do was heal his pokemon and start training again, stronger that was the plan.

Ellie let out a breath of relief. She had held him back. Good. Skye would be miserable if Bri got hurt helping him, especially because of the boy's fear. She knew that she had to work with others but... no. Not again. No one would else would end up like that, even if she died. "I don't care," she growled. "How weak I am, how useless, or any of that! I don't care how my opinions sound or whatever! I'll be a self-righteous, conceited monster if I have to! My friends... I need to be with them, not healing with you because you think I can't do anything!" She flailed and broke off, running again. "hah, for once this badly injured thing helps!"

Pala watched Ellie. THe others were worried, upset because she was fighting anyway. But Pala could feel it. Ellie panicked a lot but when stuff got bad, she was the go-to Pokemon, because she did not give up, no matter what anyone said or did to her. That was her way. And she wanted to be with Skye so no matter what she would do that. Pala began to puff cold air

"Shinryu dig on the Pupitar, Cerberus double team!" Calnith ordered. His Gible then dug a hole into the ground and headed straight for the Pupitar and Cerberus went charging at the two pokemon creating many clones of himself.

"Mighty giga impact and Pupitar rock slide!" The boy commanded as the Mightyenna began charging at Cerberus and his clones in a huge aura of power while rocks came from the sky and began falling at Cerberus as well.

"Oh crap there going to over take Cerberus he could probably dodge the rock slide put not the giga impact also," Calnith muttered to himself. "Shinryu quickly make a hole in the path of the Mightyenna and hit the Pupitar! Cerberus make your clones dodge the rock slide," He added hoping this would work. Shinryu quickly made a hole right in front of the Mightyenna and the continued to come out of the ground again right in front of the Pupitar upper cutting it.

"Mighty watch out!" The boy cried as he watched his Mightyenna fall down a hole. "Pupitar shake it off and then use bulldoze!" He commanded his Pupitar. The Pupitar shook off the dig attack and then rammed itself into Shinryu making the Gible fly across the battlefield and land hard on the ground.

"Shinryu get up and use dragon rage! Cerberus use flamethrower down that hole!" Calnith said commanding his pokemon. As Shinryu got back up he starting glowing a white blinding light. Once the light had disappeared Shinryu went from a Gible to Gabite. Instead of using dragon rage Shinryu charged ath the Pupitar, claws glowing blue, and slashed it twice. Cerberus then ran to the hole with his clones circling around it as he then used a flamethrower attack blasting the Mightyenna out of the other hole Shinryu made. Cerberus then also evolved into Houndoom.

"Yes both Cerberus and Shinryu evolved!" Calnith exclaimed as he watched the Pupitar and Mightyenna get KO'd. "Wow what a pathetic battle," He said as he returned his two pokemon and started walking off toward the shop. Calnith smirked as he heard the boy began whining about how he lost. His pokemon were surprisingly weak so naturally he'd win.

  • Nova caught up with her easily.
"Heh, do you always think out loud? Bri sent me to come with you because you barely got out of there the first time, and he said he would hate for anything to happen to you. His precise words were 'What will I do if Skye finds out Ellie got hurt while I was supposed to be looking after her!' Don't worry, I won't slow you down any. Bri would be here saying this, but humans are so slow! And he doesn't think you can't do anything, just that you might need help to do it. And I want you to think about this. Who patched you up? Bri. He can help Skye and the others too. He shouldn't be running around getting help if they are hurt that badly," Nova said as he ran next to Ellie. He didn't try to grab her, he didnt move to stop her, he simply ran next to her. He followed her old scent back towards the dorm, the same thing he assumed she was doing now.

Duster followed Snype's scent back to the battlefield. She hated tracking. It was easily her worst skill. But she managed it well enough and saw him standing with his human, and another human, and a pikachu, and a nincada. She ran over to him and grabbed him.
"Snype! Please, you've got to help me! Bri and Skye are in the Lugia dorm, and they need help! Ellie came to the pokemon center hurt really badly, and said Skye was even worse! Bri ran off after him and now they both need help! Please, you've got to come now!" she wailed, tugging frantically on his arm.

Thyme wandered around, still mad at Ellie. It was just like the first time they had met. Now Thyme really wanted to put her in her place. How dare she say those things about Brian! But no, Thyme had a job to do. She was looking for the girl with the Dratini. Thyme knew she would be able to find that yellow haired human if she only knew where to start! Wait, the girl had a blue jacket. Wouldn't that mean she was in the blue dorm? What if she was there now? Well, it was worth a shot. She walked to the blue dorm and saw a battle going on near it. Some red haired kid against some other human brat. She walked over to the fight and was going to ask if either of them knew the girl. She tapped the red haired boy with her vines.
"Hey! Hold up a minute! I'm looking for a girl with a weird hat and yellow hair! She is in this dorm! Where is she? Do you know?" Thyme said, not caring how rude she sounded. She was upset with Ellie still, and it showed in her voice.

  • (1.2k words later....)

    Ty

"Ty. Ty. Ty. Ty. Ty. Ty. TY!"

"Gah! What!?" Ty sat up and stared at Calinth, who was currently disguised as himself.

"Oh good. You're awake. I'm going out. To train."

Ty glared at his clone, "Like hell you are." Ty reached over to grab his belt and grasped at air. Calinth laughed.

"Don't bother, I already took your pokeballs. Relax. I'm not going to run away or anything. I'm just going to train. I'll bring your pokemon with me, and no one will be able to catch me since I belong to a trainer and all."

Ty scowled. "Calinth, I refuse to allow you to go training. You aren't strong enough to go out on your own."

"I SURVIVED FINE BEFORE YOUCAPTURED ME!" Calinth snapped, yelling in the process. "Besides, I'm bringing back-up." He added, holding up Tyson's pokeballs. "I won't be gone long, and there's not much you can do with us locked up here. If I need them, I'll explain the situation to them. I just really need to get out and fight something. "

Ty sighed, and leaned back down slowly. "Fine. Just don't spend too much time out there. I don't know how fast word spreads here, but I don't want everyone to think I'm walking around in secret when I should be in a near-death state."

Calinth smirked slightly, before his body flashed. Ty averted his eyes, and when he looked back, he couldn't help looking impressed. TheZorua had his face, but that was about it. His hair was now died black with red tips, and it was spiked up. His wardrobe had changed too. Calinth now wore a black hoodie, with dark denim skinny jeans. He even had on black fingerless gloves and sunglasses, to disguise himself even more. Ty nodded approvingly.

    "Good. Be back by nightfall."

"Yesss Massterr. HeeHeeHee!" Ty rolled his eyes at the Zorua's comment and watched his Doppleganger walk out.

    Calinth

The Zorua chuckled as it walked through the empty plain. He walked with determination in his steps and his eyes scanned the horizon carefully. He grunted, disappointed with what he saw. There were only pidgeys, and meowths, and other weak pokemon. He wanted to fight a nidoking! Actually… Calinth looked down at the belt that was now strapped to his waist. He could fight Ty's Nidorino… Nah. It wasn't worth it. Despite it being the brutal pre-evolution of a nidoking, he still didn't want to fight it. Being in captivity for so long would have lessened his primal instinct, making him less of a threat. Sure, he might have more strategy, but without a trainer he would be useless. Calinth was jolted out of his thoughts by someone yelling.

    "Heeeeeeyyyyyy! Wait up!"

Calinth turned, and stared at the boy who was sprinting towards him. The boy slowed down as he neared Calinth, and put his hands on his knees, panting heavily.

    "I'm….glad I…managed…to catch up…with you…wanted to…Challenge you to a battle. Huhhhh.Hunnhhh."

Calinth smirked; this was just the kind of thing he was looking for. He was going to try and 'play it cool,' first though.

"Oh? And why would you want to battle me? I'm sure there are plenty of others that you can battle at this school. What's your name kid?"

The boy smiled. "Jacob. I've never seen you here before, and I haven't seen you in battle, so I wanted to fight you and see how strong you were."

Calinth's smirk grew wider. This kid was about to be in for a surprise. "All right Jacob. Most of my pokemon are tired, so It's going to have to be a 1-on-1 alright?"

Jacob nodded. "That's fine with me." The young trainer threw a pokeball into the air, and Calinth marveled at the sparks and decorations that flew off of the ball. The Zorua looked down and realized that the pokemon was a Jolteon. He hadn't even noticed the pokemon after looking at the decorations that flew off of the pokeball.

"What-What were those things that came off of your pokeball?"

Jacob stared at him blankly. "You mean seals? They're decorations that you put on pokeballs. They're usually intended for contests. Now come on. Send your pokemon out!"

Calinth grinned, before flashing red. The small Zorua landed on all fours and laughed at the trainer. Jacob blanched.

    "Wha-Wait-Huh!?"

HeeHeeHee. Calm down Jacob. Just get on with the battle as normal. My trainer is Incapacitated, and I am training for him. Calinth grinned and launched himself at the Jolteon, hitting it across the snout with a scratch. The Yellow hound recoiled, and howled painfully. Calinth jumped back, and began revolving around the dog.

"H-Hey! That wasn't fair! The battle hadn't started yet!"

Calinth just stared at the human and rolled his eyes, before leaping at the Jolteon again. The Trainer panicked, and quickly blurted out an order.

"D-dodge it Zappy! Then use electro ball!"

The Jolteon looked up, and side-stepped to the right, dodging the attack easily. The dog opened its mouth, and shot a ball of electricity at Calinth. The fox took the brunt of the attack and fell to the ground, feeling sparks jumping through his fur. Nothing hurt more than getting shocked. Nothing. Except maybe burns… those hurt like a *****. Calinth shook his head and leered at the Jolteon, before jumping up and turning into a litwick. Jacob shook his head and blinked a few times. He had fought a few Zoruas in the past, but never any like this! Zappy had no idea what to do. His opponent had glared at him, and then transformed into another pokemon! Jacob had an idea.

    "Zappy! Retreat!"

As the yellow wolf started to run, Calinth grinned and flashed into his normal form, black rings radiating from his body. His speed increased as he activated a full pursuit, and he crashed into the Jolteon, slamming it into a rock.

"Zappy! Get up! Use Pin Missle!"

The Jolteon stood up and glared at Calinth, before shooting out several small needles at the fox. The needles barely had enough momentum to get past his fur, let alone his skin. Calinth grinned sadistically, and launched himself at Zappy, before scratching him repeatedly on the face. The Zorua jumped away and activated Pursuit again, ramming the Jolteon in the side.

He watched it fall. It didn't get back up. A red light flashed, and the small fox was human once more.

"Nice try, but you'll have to do better than that if you want to beat me." Calinth picked up Ty's trainer belt and walked away. Jacob looked down at his fallen pokemon and frowned, before returning it. He would find that Zorua again, and he would beat it.

Calinth sighed as he walked. He had expected a lot more out of a trainer at this school. Oh well. He-

"HI THERE!" A small female Shroomish stood at Calinth's feet.

"What the hell do you want?"

The Shroomish looked up at Calinth with admiration in her eyes. "To go with you of course! I saw you battling back there, and I think you're amazing!" The Shroomish smiled at Calinth.

"Why on earth would you want to come with me? You'll have to answer to a human."

Because I adore you and I think you're amazing and I want to be with you the Shroomish thought. "Because I want more power, and I figured that you would respect that and help me train."

"Well, I can understand that. Whatever." Calinth tossed a spare pokeball at the Shroomish, and picked it up when it stopped wiggling. Why the hell would any pokemon WANT to be caught?

  • Snype smiled down at the Persian mother and looked back at Jerry. "Try not to make electric pokemon a part of your diet eh kiddo? They tend to really get to ya." Snype petted Jerry and smiled. "Gotta go now. I'll see ya around hopefully." Snype quickly headed out the cave to meet up with Mark. Mark was confused what he was doing back in there but before he could ask, Duster was there, grabbing onto Snype's arms and pleading for help.

"D...duster?" Snype said, suprised by his sudden appearance. She explained what was going on with Skye, and how Bri was going to help. "W...what? Woah!" Snype said as Duster began to pull on Snype's arm frantically. So much was happening at once...

Mark took a guess that something was happening... geez he was never going to get around to hanging out with Valorie at this rate. He felt terrible! But with everybody getting in trouble... he was always getting involved. Surely Valorie would understand... Mark thought. As Snype got pulled away by Duster who seemed to be leading the way, Mark looked back to Klu.

"You think you'll be alright for now? Turns out another one of my friends needs help." Mark said to her.

  • Selene

Frowning as she listened to Vince and Shade, Sel couldn't help but think this was some weird ruse to get them into the room...who would leave TMs and HMs in an Abandoned Dorm?? Surely whomever had been in here before them would have stripped the place bare...as useful as a couple of TM moves would be for some of her weaker Pokemon Sel was pretty happy with the movesets she had for Blu, Ri, Ryan and Sharpay...although if she could find the Water-type HMs for Shar that would be beyond useful, especially Surf...

"Are you...are you sure this is a good idea?" asked Selene as she followed Shade, hearing a loud but muffled noise coming from deeper into the Dorm, almost as though from a distance away. Selene took a step back looking round for the source of the noise, accidentally stepping on Vince's foot. "Oh...sorry...what was that? Don't you think we should go looking for whoever made that noise, they might be in trouble!"

As she turned around she noticed a pair of Gastly sidling towards them and she made a small grunt of annoyance. "Oh no...okay, Blu come on!" she released Blu and as he hovered in front of her Sel wondered if this was related to the noise, as though they had heard her words and were trying to hold them off. "Blu, use your Blizzard!" instructed Selene, watching as one Gastly was engulfed by the Blizzard and turned desperately to try and escape from the icy cold winds and hail. The other Gastly, however, had managed to evade the attack and was now flying after Blu, who turned and flew away, Selene turning abruptly and shouting "Blu! Stay close! Use your Ice Beam on that Gastly!" Blu turned around but the Gastly was right behind him, using his Lick attack on Blu who looked petrified...but luckily not paralysed. "Ice Beam, Blu! Use your Ice Beam!" she instructed, watching as Gastly dodged a couple of the beams, but was thankfully kept away from Blu before it was hit square on and fell to the floor in a lump of ice. After returning Blu, Sel looked down at the Gastly...should she capture one? She really had no use for it...nah. She stepped over the Gastly and motioned to them. "Feel free," she said to Vince.

    Brogan
At Mac's words, Brogan's expression darkened even further as she surveyed her, the rage flitting across her face before she rearranged her face into a pleasant, although somewhat unconvincing, smile. "It's Houghton-Taylor actually, but you may call me Brogan," she paused, thinking about Mackenzie's question. She knew how to respond to 'How do you do' but 'How's it going?' that was a whole different question altogether to Brogan...whatever it was, it was going quite awfully.

"No complaints," she opted to respond, deciding to answer in the bland, positive way rather than actually confiding how it was really going. "It will take some time to adapt to the...different pace of life here...but I'm just really settling in at the moment. How have you found your time here?" she asked politely, not that she really cared. Although she assumed that out of everyone in this place, Mac was the only other person who seemed to have higher expectations that this Academy just wasn't meeting. She could find herself growing an alliance with this girl.

Her attention was dragged to the battle when the boy's Gible hit Jack's Charmeleon...and Charmeleon tried to respond but was just too weak. As Jack returned Charmeleon, Brogan felt disappointed but strangely vindicated, as though Jack's loss reaffirmed all her initial suspicions about this place - beaten by a newcomer after he'd been here for how long? These teachers were failing at their jobs. Although Jack was obviously skilled and had fought extraordinarily well, that other boy was better. Brogan watched as he introduced himself - Calnith Sol NeverWind?! What kind of screwed up name was that? He'd probably given it to himself - and walked away, feeling the intense kind of hate for the boy that she only ever felt for her enemies...enemies that would usually meet a sticky end. "I'll remember that name..." she muttered under her breath, narrowed eyes following the boy as he walked away before turning to Jack.

He seemed really...not even deflated, that wasn't the right word...he seemed more determined than ever, as though this loss had given him a fresh goal to work towards and increased determination to succeed. Brogan watched him for a moment before standing up, folding her arms.

"Heal your Pokemon. Then meet me back here - next time you battle him you are not losing. My Pokemon could use some training anyway," she said firmly, inwardly wondering why the hell she was offering this. She didn't bother with Pokemon training or battling...it had never interested her before...perhaps seeing the humiliation of losing first hand made her realise she couldn't lose. She had to uphold her family name, but she also needed to keep face for herself. So for the time being she would train her Pokemon, so that when she faced an idiot like Calnith Sol NeverWind - Seriously, what kind of name was that?! - she could hammer him into the ground.
