Urshifu is doing the Akira pose from Virtua Fighter. Like Game Freak didn't think I wouldn't notice. He's also dressed like a standard shoto.

Urshifu has a Single Strike form and a Rapid Strike form.

The ability unseen fist allows Urshifu to hit through moves like protect as long as it's a move that makes contact. Game Freak done gave the shoto character an unblockable!

Single Strike Urshifu has Wicked Blow, which always crits.

All it takes is one punch from wicked blow and Urshifu whispers, "omae wa mou shindeiru." As for the rapid strike style it learns surging strikes instead dealing a powerful level 3 super combo. This too also crits.

Both versions of Urshifu are currently ubers in gen 9. Rapid strike style also has access to aqua jet. Imagine not being able to block that. A priority STAB move with 130 base phys. atk. Scary.

Urshifu's name is a combination of Ursus, Latin for bear, and shifu, Chinese for master. Does that make Urshifu the pokemon equivalent to Kung Fu Panda?

What makes single strike more dangerous is STAB sucker punch, throat chop, and lash out. Also for some reason both forms can learn swords dance to further boost their already high phys. atk. that cannot be blocked in some cases. Urshifu will make you die 1000 deaths.

Apes together strong. Also look at those stats. Above 100 for HP, phys. atk. and def., and speed. This is the king of the jungle.
