i went to celadon city to play in game corner
so i can get ice beam tm
after 3 hour playing and spending some money
I finally got the tm, teached to Draco

then i went to viridian city and defeated giovanni
teached earthquake to Batman, and started training before the league

Well, there might not be a whole lot of text here, but just grinding through all the nameless trainers took a while, lol.

Spoiler:

Beat Cheren after like 5 tries, and got Surf!
Explored Wellspring and Mistralton Caves as well as Routes 17 and 18.
Went through Twist Mountain to Icirrus City, took on the gym.

Another double battle. Bryce wasn't too difficult, Ice is weak to a lot of stuff.

After all of the Team Plasma stuff, which took a while, I landed in Opelucid City.
After maxing out everyone's EVs, I faced off against Iris.

Triple battle here. Aurora has Ice Beam, Swoobat (who died) did well with Calm Mind + Stored Power, and Manny was good with Ice Shard and Earthquake.

I am saved on Route 10, haven't fought Cheren yet.
