Seeing as Green is Japanese and I dont know that language, I wont be able to use items as much as usual and I forgot to mark down what the word "Potion" and "Pokeball" looks like..... Going to do that later.
As a joke I named Red "Mason" (i wrote it as google translate said for extra joke, but i couldnt find one of the characters on either keyboard?... so it probably is not really "mason") and the rival "William". Before starting, I decided to name the team with two characters per name(max is 5 anyway) and just translate it after(so sorry for mistranslations by joke google and if i get an inappropriate name...). I chose my starter as Squirtle and gave him the name "K?ko" which appearantly means Architecture. I made many building puns believe me.
We beat William and his Bulbasaur, and ran off to train a little while grabbing the parcel for Oak. After getting the Pokedex in exchange, we ran off to train K?ko some more and beat William again, and dashed back to Pallet Town to claim 5 free Pokeballs from the Prof.
Going into the grass to find another Rattata, they suddenly stopped coming and there was just a lot of Pidgeys... We finally found one and I named him "Mue e" which meant To. Really great names. ??
Training and running around the forest took most of the time I was playing, and we kept losing these two due to trainer's Weedles taunting me(ok only once per both pokemon but...).
Going straight to the Gym from Pewter's PC, we found out the first Gym trainer owns a Diglett in this game... I cannot Dig it. We had to go back and heal and go back agaaain to fight Brock finally. The battle was very easy, Mue e switching in and out to gain EXP, K?ko getting water on everything, Mue e accidentally trying to hit Onix, Onix's Screech making me deaf....
We got the first Badge with an easy win! About to head to Cerulean.
