This is just for all the folks to ask those odd "why" questions:

    why is there Dunsparce?
    Delibird?

And why do they have the cherish ball?

Feel free to add your own questions. :D

Why do people in the Pokemon world find breaking and entering ok? Why is animal cruelty/abuse/fighting apparently allowed in the Pokemon world?

By the way, Dunsparce can be an amazing Pokemon if you EV train him, and use him properly in battle.

This is more of a "What" question.
If there are no "real animals" in the Pokemon world...
and they eat meat and other "animal" product foods..

Would they be chopping up their Miltank and Grumpigs for pork and beef and making Goldeen sushi rolls? Preparing Clamperls?

*Not meant to be a sick question, just always have wondered that while watching the anime.

Why do Poliwhirl and Poliwrath look so much alike?

Same can be asked for Grimer/Muk, Voltorb/Electrode, and any other number of Pokémon. XD

Breaking and Entering is definitely not restricted to the Pokémon world. XD

As for the fighting, we have very similar events going on in the real world. It all boils down to culture- and one could argue that it's more a sport than actual combat.

The existence of real animals is highly debatable. But if I recall correctly, I think I might have seen a Magikarp being served up as a meal at some point in the first anime...
