    Reversal Mountain, Unova.

These variants of Exploud isolate themselves deep in the furthest reaches of Unova's volcanic chambers. It is said that when one becomes so angry it attacks with the force of a tiny nuclear bomb. As a result of this lethal risk, Trainers are legally not allowed to raise one unless they are thoroughly experienced and qualified after a few decades dedicated to full-time care of every hazardous and violent Pokémon outside Legendaries.

They have an Ability that turns Normal-type moves into Fire-type moves, and can also learn Self-Destruct and Explosion.

Lake of Rage in Johto. Reacted strangely to the radio waves aired by Team Rocket. Evolved the nearby Gabites into Garchomps. Did not stop there, however. Gained some Gyarados-like fins after becoming Garchomp.

Theorizes a partial Mega Evolution took place. Characterizes a Mega Evolved Garchomp to be full of rage. Possesses that trait. Lacked the proper Mega Ring and Stone to fully trigger the Mega Evolution, however. Reached out to its surroundings--evolving Magikarp, in this case--to try to complete the Mega Evolution. Resulted in a hodge-podge evolution it could not undo.

Do not approach this Pokemon if you see it. Attacks indiscriminately. Run away and call your local authorities to deal with it.

Altering Cave, Outcast Island, Kanto + Route 103, Hoenn.

What should have been a routine restoration, though not without questionable ethics, by Cara Liss wound up mixing the DNA of Leon's Charizard somehow into the process of creating a Dracovish. This negatively affected the dragon fish's already troubled breathing on land, forcing it to escape by roaming across vast oceans at surprisingly shocking speeds to seek refuge in Altering Cave to restrain it's unbalanced power and unstable genes that clash between it's raging fire and cool water. It instinctively avoids battling weak Pokémon unless provoked by making accidental contact with it.

To get across vast chasms and bottomless depths of the sea, the Charizard wings it had developed around it's spiky "torso" restructured themselves to act as it's secondary, stronger fins. The Drake tail has changed colours around it's legs, which now resemble those of the OG dragon Pokémon. The Fish head remains the same, although it is much angrier and looks to be in more constant pain, always blushing red as a sign of exhaustion from it's excessive power.

It's Abilities consist of Strong Jaw, Swift Swim, and Solar Power. It even learns Fire and Flying-type moves. And yes, but not without difficulty, it can carry a Trainer with Fly in certain regions.

  • Route 14, Kalos. It lives in the swampy forest and has adopted to the constant rain and damp conditions. It's coat now looks more like a poncho.
They are so in tune with the water they know where all living things in the forest are just by their contact with water, including the rain.

    Mt. Coronet, Sinnoh/Hisui.

Constant battles against the many harsh Rock-types that thrive in Sinnohian/Hisuian mountains, as well as unfamiliar water qualities in the region have gradually degraded the metallic substances of these Viking felines' fur. They grew to despise rainfall and actively hide deep within elaborate caverns, though some eventually grew to sacrifice their sight for enhanced seismic senses on their paws due to getting lost so often.

These Pokémon often get into territorial wars with Machop and Machoke, but they often lose battles due to their own severe type disadvantage against these humanoid Pokémon. Unlike their Galarian counterparts, Perrserker have developed radical gender differences. The males look more like cavemen Chads, whereas the females look like archetype bandits/femme fatales.

Their Abilities include Tough Claws and Hustle. Their Hidden Ability is No Guard. They lose a decent chunk of physical Defense and Sp. Atk in favour of higher Speed.

  • Ice Path, Johto. Duraludon was rejected by the big spoiled child... I mean Gym Leader, Claire. So it went to the nearby Ice Path and stayed there for decades on end.
It eventually acclimated and became an Ice Type. It can now use Freeze-Dry and a selection of other special attacking Ice moves. It then went back and wiped the floor with Claire's Team...

    Route 123, Hoenn.

The Skuntank of Hoenn love to feast on nutritious berries and rich grasslands of Hoenn's northeastern land. However, the grasses and berries were fertilised by Glooms, giving these variants of Skuntank far nastier odours that, while good for fertilising, makes them undesirable house pets. Prolonged exposure to their foul odours may result in permanent loss of smell. They can be very useful for investigations if a lost Pokémon or person gets sprayed by them.

Their Abilities are Stench and Defiant. Their Hidden Ability is Competitive. They have reduced HP, but higher Sp. Atk and Speed.

  • Side note: I'm absolutely LIVING for the bit of Clair slander above. I'd only let her live in the aftermath of her rejecting Duraludon just to see her suffer a karmic defeat at its hands.

Route 14 aka Laverre Nature Trail, Kalos. Years and years of spells from Fairy Tale Girls and novice Hex Maniacs have summoned these Pokémon to Kalos from a world beyond our own. They tend to leave humans themselves alone... only to hurt them indirectly by spiriting their house pet Pokémon away and replacing them with dummies. Espurr/Meowstic owners are common targets given how many of them there are until they steal Mimi from Emma and she goes full Essentia on them. That's right, no detective work, just pure power.

    New Mauville, Hoenn.

An abrupt cancellation to Mauville City's ambitious programmes had forced every single worker to abandon everything, including some of their beloved Meowths. These neglected Meowths have become so starved from malnutrition that they have resorted to feed off of many of the Voltorbs and Magnemites that thrive there. It gains a regional evolution named "Perrthunder", a highly aggressive cat that attacks with two mineral lightning-tipped magnet tails very reminiscent of both Electivire and Magnezone. However, these Pokémon cannot thrive if they miss just one meal each day, hence why documentation is extremely rare, if nonexistent, across Hoenn.

Their Abilities consist of Lightning Rod and Motor Drive. Their Hidden Ability is Magnet Pull.

    Frost Cavern, Kalos.

Based on the Snowy Owl. Rowlet spends most of it's time simply lazing about underneath the roofs of very old unoccupied houses, and within abandoned snowy burrows. It is simply preserving newfound cold energy for evolution, where it can master it's frigid abilities much better, although an experienced and compassionate Trainer can convince it to blossom even earlier with full-time dedication to it's training.

Kalosian Decidueye is an Ice/Grass-type that has an Ice-type arrow move; Crystal Arrows, a move that cuts physical Defense with a barrage of arrows. All three stages of this Ice-type birb variant have Skill Link as their Ability. Their Hidden Ability is Technician.

  • Celestic Town, Sinnoh. It has absorbed mysterious energies from the ruins, making it gain the Psychic type.
It's newfound powers are unstable though, so it goes around town at night and put's it's mask on people's faces to steal their memories of that day. As a result, the locals have been referring to a day as 'yesterday' for a solid decade now. Spending the night in this town is not recommended.

    Route 4, Kanto.

Becomes something of a cross between an aardvark and a pink fairy armadillo. With no Durants to feast on, only Jigglypuffs and the occasional stray Clefairy from the nearby Mt. Moon, the Heatmor that have settled in Kanto adjusted to a weird diet of magical properties that granted it mystical abilities said to have been gifted by all the moons of the Solar System. They burn off excess energy by rolling about downhill from the mountain to the west of Cerulean City, using their claws to climb their way back to the top to repeat as many times as necessary until they get tired.

These Kantonian Heatmors drop some HP, Sp. Def, and Sp. Atk in favour of good Speed, decent physical Defense and equal physical Attack. Their Abilities are Tough Claws and Gluttony. Their Hidden Ability is Hustle.

  • Fiery Path, Hoenn. A result of experimentation by rogue Team Magma scientists, these Durant have evolved to survive extremely harsh conditions that would have otherwise killed their Unovan counterparts - including being melted alive by Heatmor. However, it comes at a great cost to their wellbeing, as their bodies are constantly burning alive and expelling toxic fumes. At least Unovan Durant, once captured by Heatmor, had the mercy of a quick death; for these Hoennian Durant, existence is pain. Their possible Abilities are Flame Body and Flash Fire, and their hidden ability is Aftermath.

    Lostlorn Forest, Unova.

According to folklore, this is not actually Suicune, but a very successful disguise by the Zoroark that used to inhabit the forest. However, the disguise worked too well, and combined with the beast's DNA that embraced centuries of strong winds and cold environments, have given the host a permanent illness that it ultimately honed to use as a deadly weapon to disperse others from ever getting near to it's child.

Main Ability is Pressure, whereas it's Hidden Ability is Imposter. The colour scheme is identical to a shiny Suicune like in one of the movies, but has a gross pale-coloured snot running from it's nose, which like Cubchoo, grants it it's powers. The darkness it constantly radiates is identical to shadow energy that the Cipher Organization once used.

Route 7 in Kanto, between Saffron City and Celadon City.

Always ran around Johto. Clamored into a train in Goldenrod City one day by chance. Created quite a ruckus inside the train cars.

Was captured on the train by some (soon-to-be) high-ranking Team Rocket members. Sent it on another trip, this time to their secret base near Pallet Town (the same one previously housing Mewtwo).

Imprisoned Entei in an underground chamber. Subjected Entei to all manner of tests and experiments. Extinguished its flames. Sought to change its type, not unlike Type: Null.

Awakened something in Entei instead. Burst free from its bindings with a mighty roar. Cracked the building from top to bottom, resulting in the building's collapse. Proceeded to dismantle any structure or human still standing, no matter how small.

Freed all the other Pokemon there. Reached the Kanto mainland with their aid. Patrols the area between Celadon and Saffron now, in search of more Team Rocket grunts. Supposedly answers any call for help from those formerly imprisoned in the Rocket base. Dubbed Entei "The Flame of Justice" in homage of Terrakion, as well for its fiery spirit persisting on the inside.

  • Lavaridge Town Hot Springs, Hoenn.
It has soaked in the hot springs so often that it adapted it's new Fire/Water typing. It can freely turn any water anywhere into a new hot spring by using it's two tails, one of which creates water and one of which creates heat and fire.

This talent has made it quite popular as even your bathtub can become a relaxing hot spring with this Pokemon. High demand for them and being few in number, these Pokemon have grown quite conceited as they know they are valuable. They will make their trainers lavish them with riches and food and anything else they desire.

    Abandoned Ship/Sea Mauville, Hoenn.

Decades of exposure to the harsh seaside elements have eroded and rusted significant chunks off of the anchor, as rotting seaweed possessed by maritime victims across numerous centuries have clung onto it, granting it life as a Hoennian Dhelmise. It uses both chains and seaweed to ensnare unsuspecting intruders and wild Pokémon before draining their life force, or in more extreme cases, lives by dragging them to the furthest abyss of the sea, never to be seen again.

Due to it's malevolent and underhanded nature, it is illegal to raise this variant of Dhelmise without a professional license and strict supervision to keep it from drowning those none the wiser to it's haunted tactics.

Their main Ability is Cursed Body, while it's Hidden Ability is Adaptability.

  • Haina Desert, Alola.

These Pokemon dig pitfalls for their prey and then dig a ditch for themselves to hide in nearby. One it hears something stumble into the pitfall it will jump out of hiding and quickly dash towards the prey to rip it apart and devour it. These are it's tactics for when it's daytime. When it's nighttime it will patrol the area and attack anything that moves, considering it as it's next meal.

    Victory Road, Kalos.

Very high up in Kalosian skies thrive a newly enhanced kind of Dragapults and their pre-evolutions after centuries of very elaborate breeding with numerous Fairy and Steel-type Pokémon in their Egg Groups; Dragon and Amorphous. There is raging debate among even the most acclaimed scientists in the cosmos on whether these Pokémon should be classified as an entirely different subspecies

These living wartime aircraft Pokémon guard a mountainous final gauntlet said to have once been an ancient civilization lost to time and drastic environmental changes. Like their incorporeal Galarian ancestors, they launch Dreepy missiles, although the AI of these modern futuristic breeds is still constantly undergoing improvements to distinguish what should or should not be struck if one enters the vicinity of their radars.

These fully evolved Pokémon sacrifice significant Sp. Atk in favour of higher Defense, Sp. Def and physical Attack. Their only Ability is Levitate, allowing them to participate in Sky Battles. Their movepool can consist of moves like Close Combat, Drill Run, Stone Edge, Iron Head, Brave Bird, Explosion, and a Fairy-type variant of Dragon Darts called "Pixie Projectiles."
