Ground Update 1: I finished Crystal, and I'm going to do only one game at a time now. :)

Started up Platinum for my Water Type Ultimate. I'm playing this one when I'm out and about on my DS, since I don't have a version for my emulator. That being the case, I have far fewer notes than on my emulator games lol.

-Chose Piplup, named him Torrent as I'm planning on doing with all my starters until I become lazy
-Breezed through the beginning sections of the game, easily beating Oreburgh after catching a Magikarp
-Spend a whole bunch of time leveling up Magikarp before catching a Psyduck, Buizel, and Shellos
-Get my ass kicked around the Gardenia Gym until I finally grind out Magikarp's evolutions, then essentially walk through the gym, although the leader was a pain
-Wiped out the Team Galactic building before making my way to the cave[I forget the name, I haven't gone in yet]

Considering starting up another Monotype challenge, this time as normal. Just for a change of pace to switch between the two. Would that be allowed?

Hey guys, I'm back for another update; this one on my Poison challenge.

Update #3: Midgame Triumph​

What happened:

I have gotten alot done since my last update. After getting Lafitte, I went onto Route 12, where Lafitte evolved into a Haunter. I then went on to Fuschia City, on the way realizing that I didn't have a proper Fly slave yet (this is practically Gen I, Golbat couldn't learn Fly). I then proceeded to get the Safari Warden's Gold Teeth, and also claimed the HMs Surf and Strength, and then beat Koga. I knew he also had some Psychic- users in his gym, so I sent out Lafitte with his awesome Shadow Punch and Psychic, and just breezed through it. And, of course, I forget to go to Saffron City and beat Silph Co., so I end up putting Surf on MR. NIDO until I get a Tentacool. I get a Tentacool o Route 19, calling him Octavius (I was thinking octopus at the time instead of jellyfish). I then taught Octavius a couple water moves, including Surf, deleted Surf off of MR. NIDO, stuck an Exp. Share that I hacked in onto him (sorry, it would have taken forever to catch 50 different pokes) and moved on. Somewhere along the way to Cinnabar Island, where exactly I forget, Octavius evolved into a Tentacruel. Once I got to Pokemon Mansion, I realized that I needed stuff, so I went on a shopping spree. I breezed through Pokemon Mansion and Blaine's gym, thanks to Octavius, then went to the Sevii Islands against my will (I was using the speed button, so I accidentally pressed "Yes" when I meant to press "No"), although it was easy. I then went on to Viridian City, just THEN realizing that I had skipped Saffron, so I walked back through Diglett Cave and Route 6 to Saffron. I'm currently making my way through Silph Co.

Finally got around to playing today ^^
Here's what I did.

Battled the Dancers and got the Amulet Coin.
Took on those guys in the office close to the Poké Center.
Saved Bianca's Munna.
Took on Burgh's Gym (I love that place!)
Went over to Route 4 and Desert Resort and battled all the trainers I ran into.
Reached Nimbasa.
Battled Plasma Grunt and obtained a Bike.
Obtained various items around town.
Spent like 2 hours playing with the Musicals thng and adding Props to my case (>.> <.<)
Had a ferris wheel ride with N.
Battled N.
Took on Elsa's Gym and won after a bit of switching out and use of healing items (damn volt switch and aerial ace x.x)
Went on Route 16 and battled my way to the closed Marvelous Bridge.
Went back to Nimbasa and healed at the Poké Center and saved.

Emerald Update!

Update #2 For Emerald:

-I head out to do some SERIOUS training with Torchic.
-After he evolves at level 16 and learns Double Kick, I head to the gym.
-I then battle Roxanne.
-Easy fight, I just Double Kick the whole thing.
-I exit the Gym and have a Team Aqua encounter.
-I head out to Route 116 and deal with him in the cave.
-The guy who's Pokemon was stolen by the grunt thaked me, and so did the guy who lost the Goods.
-That guy took me to that building.
-The President gave me the Letter to deliver to a guy named Steven and some other stuff, includng the Pokenav.
-I leave the building and head to Mr. Briney's house.
-Mr. Briney sails me to Dewport.
-I head to the gym beforelooking for teven.
-I make it to the Gym Leader in just one battle.
-Well, his Makuhite kills me. Lose.
-I try again. I nailed it. And then his Makuhita kills me. Lose.
-I give up and search for Steven. Can't find him, so I go get some Potions and head back to the Gym.
-Try three. You know who kills me.
-Try four-I did it! Done!
-I leave the Gym and look for Steven.

Ultimate Fighting Monotype Challenge: Black Version
4/8

So, I stopped for a long time on this one after I reached the Desert Resort because Desert Resort is annoying as hell! So I basically I was ignoring this run for about a month maybe longer. I really do like using these Pokemon, but there were a lot of flying and Psychic Pokemon to fight in that area so it sucked pretty bad. Luckily I was decently over leveled enough to handle it. I went up and fought Team Plasma an N, piece of cake. Then I took on Elesa, which was actually not too bad when I was fighting Emolga. The real nuisance was Zebstrika believe it or not. But I was able to beat it and claim my 4th badge.

- Caught and trained up a male Spinarak named "Piderman"

- Caught and trained up a male Zubat named "Baman" (Get it?)

- Went to Sprout Tower, caught and trained a male Gastly named "Doppel"

- Cleared Sprout Tower then headed for Violet Gym

- Made it to Falkner and let him have it with Baman, netting me the

Zephyr Badge

- On the way to Union Cave, I caught a male Tentacool named "Sting"

- Went through Union Cave, then kicked Team Rocket out of the Slowpoke Well

- Entered Violet Gym and made short work of Bugsy for the

Ultimate Bug Monotype Challenge: Silberne Edition
2/16

Not a lot to say here. I left off at Slowpoke Well. My team were decently higher level than all the Rocket Grunts so it didn't take long to clear them out. Then I went to fight Bugsy with Bug type Pokemon, which i honestly thought would be easier. It was very difficult due to the fact that Spinarak was one level over the limit for him to listen to me, and Ledian only had physical moves which it sucks at using. Anyway, I pulled it off with a little luck, and went on to crush my Rival outside of Ilex Forest.

Overall, not much to say. Chose Charmander to make it easier on myself in the long run, Mankey is the only available Fighting-type until I get to Rock Tunnel, so I'm thinking of teaching him Dig to beat Lt. Surge easier.

My Primeape's nickname, Donut, is a nod to the anime episode where a Mankey steals the ricecakes that Brock refers to as "donuts".

Other than that, everything has been going smoothly. Brock was a piece of cake, and Misty's Starmie was ridiculous, but a couple of lucky crits got me the win, so yeah; take that Misty…

Traded Farfetch'd for a Spearow I caught early on, got a Bike Voucher and the S.S. Anne Ticket, and now I'm on my way to getting the HM Cut (so Farfetch'd will officially be HM Slave #1!).​

Ultimate Eletric Monotype Challenge: Emerald

Update #3: Some Electricity

-I decide to look in Granite Cave, but I cant find any Pokemon that can use Flash, so I use Bulbapedia so I know where I'm going.
-I get into Steven's Room, and hand him the letter.
-Steven gives me the Steel Wing TM.
-We register eachother in the Pokenav.
-I try to find my way out.
-I find a Everstone on my way. (I hate Everstones.)
-I get lost on B1F. Stand by. This could take a while.
-Not as long as I expected. I'm out.
-Anyway, I have Mr. Briney take me to Slateport.
-I try to actually get to town, but I get ambushed with a million battles.
-Somehow I make it to town, so I heal in the P. Center.
-I go straight to Route 110, because I can catch three diffrent Eletric-types there.
-Now if only I can find them...
-Okay. I run into a Minun.
-Caught it! I have some Electric Pokemon now.
-I walk ahead and realize I can only hunt in that patch of grass because Team Aqua is blocking me.
-I head back to that patch, and it takes a while, but I catch a Electrike.
-I was trying to close a antivirus thing, but then my emulator closed instead. I'm not doing this again for a while.
-Just let me skip to the part when I get to Slateport.
-First off, I learned something. Speed button + Running Shoes = Superspeed
-I head back onto Route 110 and catch a Plusle.
-I name it Volt.
-I then catch a Minun and name it Jolt.
-Volt and Jolt. That's right. You heard me.
-After that, I catch a Electrike named Lightning.
-I head into the Museum and defeat Team Aqua.
-This Scott comes and registers me in his Pokenav. "Registered this Scott person in the Pokenav." is what it said.
-This Scott Person? Seriously?
-I accidentially step into the Battle Tent Door, and "This Scott Person" comes out.
-Anyway, I finially get to walk down Route 110, and Birch comes out of nowhere.
-After that, I run into the coolest battle ever. You gotta see this screenshot.

-Jolt and Volt level up mid-battle, and we end up winning.
-I walk over to May and get in a battle.
-It took a few tries (curse you Marshtomp) but I did it.
-I get to Mauville City and heal at the Pokemon Center.
-I go into the Bike Shop and choose the Mach Bike.
-I battle Wally in front of the Gym.
-I win, and then you-know-who comes out of nowhere. In case you don't, I mean Scott.
-I head out to the farther routes to train Lightning, Volt, and Jolt.
-Lightning is bugging me. He isn't leveling up fast at all. I drop him off at the Daycare.
-I do some training with Volt and Jolt. I want them both at at least Level 22 before I face the Gym. Lightning should be there too.
-Lightning still isn't leveling very well, so I take him back and do some training.
-Currently, Volt is Level 20, Jolt is Level 21, and Lightning is Level 18.
-i'm not done yet. I'm sticking to the Level 22 and up thing.
-First, I box Combusken because I don't need him anymore. I needed the others to EXP leech off SOMEBODY until their level was high enough. Combusken was that somebody.
-It takes a long time, but i get them all to Level 22.
-I enter the Gym and prepare to battle.
-I thought it would be easy to go against my own type, but it was a pain.
-Expecially Magneton. So annoying. He gets us all.
-That was mostly because I forgot to heal Lightning before the battle, so he went down instantly.
-Lightning goes down again when Voltorb uses Self Destruct.
-Lose again. It would be so helpful if Lightning didn't keep instantly getting killed.
-I just don't get why Wattson hates Lightning. Guess what happened.
-Continuous losses. I need to prepare.
-Then, here comes Manetric. Overlevels Volt by one. Oh no.
-Stupid critical hits. KO'd Volt. Lightning comes out.
-Almost got him. HP is almost out. He just gets me. Lose. I think I need more training.

• Spent a lot of time in Ilex Forest searching for Paras (for Cut) before I realized that there is a Rattata just outside Union Cave
• Grinded hard to evolve Wooper.
• Defeated a bunch of trainers before Goldenrod, and after it.
• Prepared msyelf for my bout with Whitney.
• Was surprised when I 2HKO'ed Miltank with a crit Mud Bomb. Got Plain Badge.
• Defeated Sudowoodo for Exp.
• Went to tower event with Eusine. Defeated Rival, and released the dogs.
• Defeated Morty and got the Fog Badge.
• Got Strength and Shadow Claw.
• Grinded hard with the trainers west of Eukreteak.
