Things that dont make sense

Why in the world can't Leafeon, Umbreon and Espeon evolve via stones? We have the Leaf, Moon and Sun Stone. Why are they always looking for complicated ways to evolve them (level up near a certain rock, play during a certain time of the day, play with your Pokémon on Pokémon-Amie) ? Please have some mercy on my lazy self, Game Freak.

Why don't Pokémon lose PP when using an HM move on the field?

You need running shoes to actually run, like wot, you can run with any shoes.
It gets difficult when wearing heels though, ahahaha

Why do we still HAVE TO USE HM in-game?
Hate it when I'm being forced to teach my Pokemon certain ( useless) moves.

• Extremely small Pokemon can ferry you around in water and fly you all over the region, and yet your giant flaming dragon can't take care of a bramble patch without a specific HM.
• In Sinnoh, you've lived near the sea your whole life yet you can't swim. Same deal with Kanto and possibly Johto. You need the aid of a Pokemon.
• You can buy food and drink items, yet only your Pokemon can eat them. Coincidentally there are no bathrooms to be found anywhere in the entire world.
• Your protagonist can run anywhere at a full sprint without getting tired, yet they can't climb the side of a mountain.
• Nobody has a flashlight except for the cops, and even when they do use it it doesn't illuminate anything in front of them. Not only that, but in Johto where you can have your Pokemon follow you, you can't summon a Pokemon that naturally emits light to illuminate your surroundings. You have to teach your Pokemon Flash.
• Speaking of Flash, a lot of Pokemon learn it, yet don't seem to be able to emit light naturally. How does that work?
• You need special shoes to run, and these shoes don't seem to look any different from your regular shoes.
• Badges boost your Pokemon's stats. Somehow.
• You can Dive for an unlimited period of time, and without any source of oxygen whatsoever. Rule of fun?
• Convection doesn't seem to apply to the Pokemon universe, yet we can't traverse lava, even with a Pokemon that can freely go in lava like Moltres.
• There is an iron works factory in Sinnoh that is not connected to any major roads and has no apparent means of access beyond Surf.
• You can't cut down tall grass. You used to be able to do this, but now you can't. Well great.
• Police have enough time to safeguard routes and mansions, and yet they can't seem to be bothered with investigating the regional evil team terrorizing people and stealing things.
• Nobody seems to use their Pokemon's abilities for practical applications. Nobody uses their electric Pokemon to produce electric power, or use their fire Pokemon to cook food, or use their ice types to cool things.
• The world has access to time travel, item-to-data conversion, and apparent teleportation, and yet you're still walking around on grassy paths and dirt roads. This totally makes sense.
• There are small brittle rocks dotted around the world that cannot be stepped over and can only be taken down by a low power Fighting type move. In reality any Fighting or even Normal type move with a base power over 50 should be able to destroy it.
• There is a virus that is capable of infecting nearly any life form, from rock creatures to fish to reptiles to aliens from outer space with no difficulties whatsoever, and yet it can't infect humans.

Why can't Water and Ice moves not heal burns? How can a single berry?
