If they'll bring back the Super Training feature, I'd love for them to remove the two white flashes after each training, where the screen will show us our PKMN's polygonal stats. The white flashes often times hurt my eyes and brain. >.>

  • I would love to see the VS Seeker return. It was so amazing I wish they would bring it back.
I also would like new megas, particularly Raichu, Yanmega, and Haxorus.

  • - I want in Z to ride my own Pokemon when and where they can be ridden. Avalugg riding through the snow for example.

    - Quash removed from TM list, replaced with a better move.

    - A tribute to the Game Boy days, the ability to play in black & white, Game Boy Color blue or red, or the scheme from Yellow.

Will be a bit strange to 3DS in black and white. Reflection Cave in the colorings of Game Boy Color red will also feel odd.

What I want? I want to, when surfing, be able to look around me and see things that are not within the tiny little field of vision, like a giant stone tower looming over everything (cough Emerald cough) or a huge sand bar with trainers and items on it, instead of having to blindly bump back and forth between walls of stones until I stumble upon something of note. Being able to use a proper camera on other routes would also be nice, but usually on land the camera gives you the views you need.

Starting with your pokemon would also be nice. It's a small thing, but it always feels so impersonal to get your pokemon at the start of the adventure from a professor, having never seen them before. What if you're introducing a new kid to town, and there are the three starters next to you and he asks you which one's yours? And then asks you if it has a name?
What if the TMs you get from gym leaders are replaced with HMs? Cut, for example, might be the Grass type gym move, while strength might be from the fighting type gym, or the normal type gym. A ground gym would have something like Rock Climb, and so on. HMs should be unnecessary for completion, but instead allow access to new items and places, or provide more mobility in traversing routes. This keeps the gym leader's connections to the moves while making it make sense. Also, the HM moves could stand to be more varied, or change type, from the normal fare. Cut being Grass type, for example, or a ghost type move that lets you pass through certain obstacles.
Oh, also, gym leaders might be defeatable in any order (or at least there would be some freedom to it) and have their teams scale somewhat as well. Maybe every ten levels you go up, their team improves.
Your rivals' levels should scale with yours. It would alleviate the problem in the rivals often being either way too hard or way too easy. Ideally, their starter pokemon's level is equal to the highest level in your party. Maybe the rest would scale to match yours as well, or maybe they'd trail at fixed points behind their starter. If you only have a couple of pokemon, maybe their levels scale down a bit, or maybe they only use as many as you have. It would make them be more of an appropriate challenge, as you have to use superior tactics. Instead of powerleveling, you have to decide at what point your team is going to be better than theirs- do you evolve your starter to get the stat boost and moves and risk them doing the same, or do you leave your team lower leveled and rely on TMs and healing items to stay ahead?
A difficulty setting, if implemented, might affect how the level scaling works- an easy mode would lower the rival's levels from you by a small bit, while a hard mode might set them as many as five ahead per pokemon. Gym leaders would also be affected by this, as in BW2.
One last idea: what if E4 members focused on specific techniques or tactics or battling styles instead of a type? For example: a specialist in priority who uses moves like Bullet Punch or Avalanche, or someone whose whole team knows baton pass and a boosting move? Or a team built entirely around playing with the weather, with one mon for rain and one that benefits from it, another pair for sun, and so on.

  • I'd like to see the VS seeker return, or at the very least the system used in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Just something to re-battle trainers.

Also would like to see some new item randomization where upon the start of the game, there are X amount of TMs in the world and any of them have a chance to be anything (aside from those found from gyms), same with gift items.

Also, allow us to just (or pay and just) change which pokeball a hatched pokemon is in. The old pokeball would be discarded and then you good. Say you have a Rufflet, well they're all male and ditto is genderless so there is no way to get a perfect IV one with a specific ball UNLESS you got so lucky that you're on the line that people will accuse you of cheating.

Next, this one is a big one for me, make the stat reduction (or increase) moves COLOR keyed! It always annoys me when battling and I accidentally skip the text saying which stat is reduced when I can't remember what specific stat a move affects. Was so much easier back in the day to notice "Oh, it was green so I lost defense".

Lastly, let me just have a map of Lumiose! The taxi's are a rip off and it only takes a minute or so to find whatever you're looking for, but that 60 seconds could be done to 5 if I could just have a map.

I agree, I hope that we don't go through another whole generation with just battling the people in certain facilities.

I'll also like the game be in stereoscopic 3D, not just certain areas.

Also I'll like to see some backstory to the XYZ trio.

  • 1. Johto starters given instead of Kanto starters, along with them having mega evolutions. I think it would be a nice pattern if XY gave Gen 1 starter megas, the sequel Z to have Gen 2 starter megas, and (hypothetical) Ruby/Sapphire remakes to have Gen 3 starter megas.

    2. Mega evolutions for Kalos starters. I was really happy they, along with any Kalos pokemon, not to receive megas because I feel as though megas should be an extra addition to rekindle interest in old pokemon. Now that we've already experienced Kalos starters, Z could advertise how we can battle with Kalos starters like we never have before.

    3. For their to only be a single Z version, and for its plot to be a sequel to XY. I do not think it's necessary for their to be two games for the plot to have a sequel.

    4. A grown-up Trevor to be the professor's assistant.

    5. A new contest/musical/pokestar-studios like feature with a grown-up Tierno being the founder and expert of this new dancing craze.

    6. Shauna to somehow make an appearance. I think being champion is expecting too much from her character. I think a relative of hers is in Snowbelle, so maybe she'll just hang around in the Pokemon Village?

    7. Being able to ride pokemon of your choice. Remember how in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl we had Amity Square, allowing us to only walk with specific pokemon in a very specific location? In hindsight, this might have been a prototype to Heartgold/Soulsilver's option to allow us to walk with any pokemon. This could be similar, with XY's riding just being a taste to what they plan to fully implement.

    8. Battle Spot to allow the option for 6-on-6 battles.

With the exceptions of #6 and #8, this is a bit of a prediction list, yet also a wish list in that I want my predictions to be right? Iunno.

    I just had a thought.

    - Each, or maybe, a majority of PKMN will have 2 or a few more different poses during a battle.
    - 2 or more battle themes for wild/trainer battles, which is randomly chosen by the game in each battle~
    - Instead of animation going slow, each PKMN should have weak-like poses if their health bars are yellow/red and/or if they're inflicted with a status (minus frozen, of course :P).

  • I know it'd be a nightmare to actually do, but all I want is for Pokemon to follow us again. I loved it so much in HG/SS, I was so sad when it didn't come back in Black and White.

Mega Evolution for E4. Come on, even Korrina manages to get a Mega Evo, as someone with red *****y hair does and as Serena/Calem does. I'd like to see an improved AI from regular trainers: E4 always throw their mons at you following the same pattern. It is really annoying if you enjoy single player and don't want to challenge Battle Mainsion.

I'd like to see Mega Evos for other region starters as well, namely 3rd gen since they already made it for Blaziken (which was a powerhouse on his own just for having Speed Boost and decent stats/movepool).

Also, post League game which, for just one d*mn time, doesn't cheat. For your nerves' sake, battle mainsion w/ dragonite which doesn't get confused after Outrage. Are you kidding me?!

More customization for your PC: more hairstyles and clothes.

Something like Dream World wouldn't be bad!

Finally, stat boosting items like Weakness policy, working on different stats.

  • More clothes for the customization feature. I've almost bought everything for the female character in my playthrough of X and I feel like there should have been more options.

Since we have Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y (same with Mega Mewtwo), does anyone think there would be a 'Z' version for both of these mons? Or would anyone like to see a 'Z' mega version

I would prefer they add an entirely new set of megas to what ever the next sixth gen iteration brings.

  • I like the game as is, but it could have more post game story, kinda like b/w. I love the game dont get me wrong, but the game could hold a lot more info within. Give a story to the legends, or a trio??

I personally want to see an optional Hard Mode that you can choose at the beginning where the Trainers all have 6 Pokemon, have better Pokemon that scale to your best Pokemon's level. That way, you can't simply outlevel them, or win because you happen to have 6 pokemon to their 2-3. Also, for beginners, the option to restart the game on Hard Mode where the game locks away your Pokemon until you beat the Elite 4, then gives them back to you.

Mega Mr Mime and Mega Jynx, please.

Nippon Ichi level post game content would be nice, but I don't see that happening, but give us SOMETHING!

On another note, Give us a new Pokemon Stadium type game to play. We haven't seen one since Gen 4 (unless I somehow managed to overlook it)
