Spoiler:

10. Noivern- Oh Noivern, I remember when I first saw you and thought you were an amazing Pokemon design and I still do. A bat dragon is really unique and love how it's based off mythology.
9. Salamence- Mega or not I adore this dragon. During my middle years, Mence held a special place in my heart and it still does. I mean, it's a dragon with cartoon-like features and it's great in battle.
8. Skarmory- Hello Mr. Metal Bird! I remember first seeing Marriland use a Skarmory in battle and needless to say, I wanted it. Awesome in battle, rad design and sheds swords. Not to mention its shiny form is amazing~
7. Arcanine- I love dogs and Arcanine is so graceful. I love its fluffiness and its stripes just add a touch to it.
6. Heliolisk- It's an electric lizard with a name of a basilisk. Amazing design which makes sense to its typing without being generic.
5. Mightyena- I know it's supposed to be based of a hyena but Mightyena looks like a wolf to me; I guess it should be considered that Pidgeot looks more like a bird of prey over a pigeon. Anywho, I love Mightyena's rather monochromatic appearance and it looks intimidated. Too bad it's terrible at battling. :(
4. Houndoom- Hey look, my former favourite Pokemon! But, I've always loved canines and it looks intimidating with a neat, friendly looking design. Plus, I love its Mega (haven't used it but it looks amazing)!
3. Hydreigon- Well, well, a Pokemon who has both of my two favourite past types (second favourite is now Flying) with an epic looking design. Hydreigon is quite the powerhouse and I wanted White just to get this triple headed dragon. To this day, it became and remained one of my favourite Pokemon.
2. Manectric- WOLFY! But as of late, I have found more reasons to love this maned, electric wolf mostly how awesome its Mega form is in battle. Manectric has always been one of my favourite Pokemon and I still love it Mega or not.
1. Scrafty- Wow, it's been 3 years already and it still remained in this spot? Scrafty is just so special to me, when I was on my Europe trip I posed in front of Gaudi's lizard and it reminded me of that Pokemon (don't know why but I guess they are both the same species). This is also a Pokemon I could rely on during battles and sadly it's not so much of the case in standard play; it's still a fun and dangerous Pokemon to use on right conditions. Its design is just really appealing and amusing to me, love the concept of combining a lizard with rap and punk traits. Also, its shiny form dons a green hoodie +pants which I love, also the normal colour combination is so relaxing on the eyes. Scrafty is just too lovely. <3

 

[Hiatus]

I have a lot of favorites, but if I were to create a list of top ten, the Pokémon I would imagine to stand above all is likely going to have to be Vulpix.

It's super-adorable, and I generally find it very tough to not like it, haha. Not only that, but it also evolves into Ninetales, which is my second most favorite; Ninetales is beautiful-looking, in my opinion, and along with that, it seems to have some great battling capabilities. It has Drought ability, allowing the Pokémon to set up sun as soon as it's sent out on the field. Then, Ninetales is able to take advantage of this situation and wreak some major havoc with all its fire-type attacks.

Aside from those two, others would be Togekiss (due to similar reasons as Ninetales), Scizor, Metagross, Jirachi, Politoed, Suicune, Cresselia, and Darkrai, sorted by numerical order. Honorable mentions go to Charizard, Swampert, Blaziken, Lucario, Garchomp, Salamence, and Flygon.
