Total Pokebro's Challenge

Ok so the challenge of this is rather simple... you play through any game or all the games (the ultimate pokebro challenge) with a team of your six favorite pokemon from that generation....for example in red/blue/yellow you can only use kanto pokemon on your team...so only bros from that region are allowed...and all your pokemon must have a name to make them more of a bro to you...legendaries are allowed in this challenge but the stipulation to all of this...all your bros must be within 5 levels of each other before a "boss" battle this includes evil team leaders/rivals/gyms/e4! all 5 generations apply! you can play just one or all 5 and if you choose all 5 you don't have to do them in order...if you beat all 5 then you can reach total bro status by playing through a game with your top favorites from all generations but first you must be a semi-bro and do the ultimate challenge!


Rules simply laid out:

0. Only pokemon from the Generation of game you are playing.. E.X. No pichus in FR even though that is possible! Unless you have beat the PokeBro Challenge in all 5 gens then go back to do the Ultimate Challenge side which is your ALL TIME 6 favorites
1. Hacking only allowed to encounter certain pokemon/trading/egg trading is also allowed
2. Emulators allowed but more of a bro if you play the actual game so you have your bros forever!
3. Remakes or original count for any generation
4. All bros must be within 5 levels of each other before any boss encounter
5. Legendaries allowed!
6. All bros must have a nickname
7. Update regularly
8. Use your favorites not just the bros with best stats :)
9. You can add extra "spice" to the challenge by adding clauses, how ever the clause may not alter any other rules set, also you have to name the clause and the clause can then be used by others! (clauses also can not alter existing clauses if you are using that clause!)
10. Finally and most importantly enjoy doing this with your bros!

FR/LG - Ends after beating E4 a second time
G/S/C - Ends after beating Red
HG/SS - Ends after beating Red and all the gym leaders a second time (for some extra fun)
R/S - Ends after beating E4
E - Ends after beating Steven

B/W - Ends after beating Cynthia I think lol haven't finished this one...Just got my japanese copy today!

Update 1:
Chose boy character and then reminded the senile old fool who's known me and my rival since we were kids what our names were...and he also forgot my gender -_-... Named myself YUKI and my rival SILVER (not from the games a different silver).

Withdrew the all amazing potion from PC.

Chose Bulbasaur and of course my jerk rival went with Charmander the obvious advantage :/

Nicknamed my bulbasaur BULBABRO

Rival attacks unexpectedly what a psycho

Burned a potion on the rival battle due to TWO crits >.< freaking hax

Also, just to clear this up, which one is right?

1. We beat each game with our favorite Pokemon native to their region. Once we finish all five generations worth, we are "semi-bros". We then select our favorite 6 all time Pokemon, and beat one game with them, which gives us "total bro" status.
2. We beat each game with our 6 favorite Pokemon overall, using them for all five generations. We are then "total bros".

I'm pretty sure its the first one, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Extra Clauses: If you don't mind me copying you, yuki, I'd like to try your Gym Equalizer Clause. I'm also making one for myself. With the "Bromance Clause", if a bro in my party faints, I must use my next turn in battle to revive him (if I have any revives, max revives, or sacred ashes. If I do not have any, after the battle, I am not allowed to progress until he is revived, even if it would be shorter to move forward. So basically, in Ruby, if a Pokemon faints when I fight Wally in Victory Road, I have to backtrack through it to heal outside of the beginning of VR if I don't have any Revives.

PokeBros Challenge Update 1

The Beginning
-Woke up and got my first Pokebro, Totodile and nicknamed him Gatorade
-Trained Gatorade a bit while doing the beginning sequence of the game and ran into my rival for the first time
-Got back to New Bark and named my rival Noland
-Got to dark cave and caught Kamikaze the mild natured Zubat
-Sprout Tower was rough but I still managed to get through it with Gatorade at Lv.12 and Kamikaze at Lv.11
-Before I went to challenge the gym I went to Route 31 and captured my third Pokebro; Amphy, the quiet natured Mareep
-Took on Falkner and defeated him with ease which got me the Zephyr Badge
-My Pokebros and I ran into a lot of tough battles on Route 31 and through the Union Cave but we made it to Azalea Town and managed to beat Bugsy on the first try
-Gatorade and Amphy both had evolved into Croconaw and Flaffy respectively before we had battled Bugsy
-Took on Noland before going into the Ilex Forest and had major problems taking down his Bayleef but after some lucky criticals, Kamikaze took down Bayleef and helps me defeat my bitter rival
-Made it through Ilex Forest and starting training with my team again
-Decided to take a break here and save the gym for later
