    I plan to participate too once I complete my current journey. Although I may start early, I'm pretty excited about it. :D

    Shouldn't Charizard be in the Dragon Tamer Group, since he is a dragon-like pokemon and used by the Lance the Dragon Spear Dragon Master?

    What about the Teacher trainer? You find one of those onboard the S.S. Aqua.

    Her pokemon was a Chatot (they probably specialize in those types of pokemon lol).

    I was considering adding the Teacher class but it didn't seem like they used any specific type of Pokemon. It seems they favor small, cute Pokemon which is very similar to the Beauties.

    are HM slaves allowed? i dont use them all that often, but just in case... also how do we know when we've completed the challenge? when we've beaten the E4? Red?

    Yepp, HM slaves are allowed. You can have as many as you need but you can't battle with them.

    I have a question: Are Ace Trainers allowed? I'm not sure about it because they use all kinds of pokemon right?

    Yeah, I didn't add Ace Trainers because they specialize in a well trained Pokemon and a balanced team, which could really be any number of combinations. I tried my best to pick trainer classes that specialized in a certain type of Pokemon or egg group.

    You can battle with your HM slave as long as they are on your list of Pokemon. Since you're participating as a Sailor, you can battle with Krabby.
    The challenge is complete once you have beaten Red.

    I'm thinking about participating too ^_^ I might be a Dragon Tamer or a Sage. But I have one more question ^^;

    For a Sage, you say that some have been known to use Eevee evolutions. If I choose a sage, am I limited to a number of eevee evolutions that I can use?

    Nope, since Eevee is on the list that means all of it's evolutions are as well. :)

    I got a question. Where did you get the information for all these? Cause no where I have seen has info stating that Sage's have used Eevee's or the Eeveelutions.

    3 sages on crystal used Jolteon, flareon, and vaporeon before you battled suicune.

    Does that mean if you choose to be a sage, you can use all 6 eevees?

    Yes, since a Sage has used every Eevevolution at some point in the Pokemon series all six are allowed.

    Most of the information is taken from Bulbapedia pages about trainer classes and lists of Pokemon they have used. Some additional data is taken from legendarypokemon.net if it was missing from Bulbapedia.
