Turbo Mafia
Greetings fellow crazies and killers! Been looking for an excuse to murder all our friends. Well this Get-Together we are providing you with that very opportunity! Welcome to every homicidal maniac's favourite game, Mafia!
What is Mafia exactly? Mafia is a strategy game pitting an uninformed majority, the Town, against an informed minority, the Mafia. The goal of the town is to weed out and kill all the Mafia among them. The Mafia win if their numbers equal or exceed that of the Town. The trick is that none of the Town know who is Mafia and who is Town are and must work out who to lynch each day through discussion in the thread.
The game is conducted in two phases. The Day phase is the phase in which discussion in the thread occurs. During this time, the town will try and work out who the mafia is, meanwhile the mafia will try and trick the Town into killing one of their own. At any time during the day, you can vote to lynch another player. At the end of the day, the player with the most lynch votes dies. Each day phase in these Turbo games will be 4 hours long.
During the Night phase, the game thread is considered "locked". This means that nobody is allowed to post in the thread. Instead, during this time, the Mafia will plot among themselves and decide on a member of the town to kill. Also, during this time, players with Night Actions - special abilities that can potentially help or hinder their teams - will also be able to put these in effect. You will now if your role has a night action from its description in the OP of the game thread.
Game threads will be located in the Underground section of PC. At the beginning of each game's Sign-Up period (which will generally last about 4 or so hours) those of you that have signed-up in this thread will be notified that a game is starting and given a link to the thread. At the end of the Sign-Up phase, you will then be contacted by PM or DM with your alignment, role and, if you're a mafia player, given access to a mafia faction chat on the GT discord server.
Points will be awarded depending on the side that wins each game. If the Town wins, it will be 100 points for Detective Pikachu. If the Mafia team are the victors, it will be 100 points for Eevee.

2. Days are 4 hours, nights are 2 hours. Do not post in the thread during the night.
3. If you are dead, that's it. You're out of the game and can no longer post in the thread. The exception to this is one single "death" post that can be full of snark but cannot contain any game-related information.
4. Voting to lynch during the day is mandatory. You cannot vote for nobody. Format votes as [vote] player.
5. You must post at least twice per day phase. Failing to do so for two days in a row may result in you getting replaced.
6. Failing to make a lynch vote in the day phase two days in a row may also result in your replacement.
