Under the Bed
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into night.
A fright.
On my door.
Under the floor.
Inwards it seeps.
Inwards creeps.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
"Mother" , I call,
Before I fall.
"A monster in here,
And it gets near!"
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
"Father!" I shout,
"Make it get out!"
Still, so I lie.
I start to cry.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
Soft warm glow and,
A smile does show.
A hug, with love,
Gives the demon a shove.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into night.
A fright.
On my door.
Under the floor.
Inwards it seeps.
Inwards creeps.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
"Mother" , I call,
Before I fall.
"A monster in here,
And it gets near!"
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
"Father!" I shout,
"Make it get out!"
Still, so I lie.
I start to cry.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
Soft warm glow and,
A smile does show.
A hug, with love,
Gives the demon a shove.
Into the night.
A fright, A fright.
Gone into the night.
A fright.
We all had monsters in our rooms right? This little poem is to express that. Any help is much appreciated, my wording on some of the lines may be a bit awkward.
