[Scripting Question] V 19.1 Uncatchable Pokemon

Basically the title. There's a few points in my game where you'll need to fight some legendaries, and I want the player to battle them in the main story and catch them in the postgame. Is there a way to do it?

In v20.1, you can simply disable Pokeballs in battle with a battle rule. I don't remember if v19 has this.
