Is this a just-for-fun deck? Or are you planning on taking this to tournaments?

This is just for fun, only one of my friends plays and he uses a fire/elec deck
(I didn't want there to be a type advantage or disadvantage)
Would having a tournament set up help against a deck that wasn't built for tournaments?

Well, depends on if you have the Supporters for it or not. If you're going for balance, why not post the other one up in its own thread, too, so both can be reviewed simultaneously?

This second deck seems to have a few too many energy and not enough Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums. The first deck lacks a focus on higher powered T/S/S cards like Bebe's Search, Pokemon Communication, and Rare Candy. Roseanne's Research is a better replacement for Energy Search.

Celio's network does the same thing as bebe's search without having to put a card back into your deck.

unfortunately i only have 2 pokemon communication and pokemon breeder is the same as rare candy.

EDIT: what woul be some good stadium cards i could use?

Broken-Time Space might be worth a look for both, as they're both evolution decks.

Don't know my stadiums very well and can't say what others would be worth a look.

My friends strategy is usually to get typhlosion or magmortar out, power em up, and charge electrode's electro diffusion on the bench

With this deck mine is to stockpile Gardevoir with energy and blast away with energy burst.
