    Macho Brace isn't a Power item. Power items are the EV training items that have Power in their names, from D/P's Battle Tower.

    although Macho Brace does stuff like that, it isn't a Power item (Bracer, Belt, Weight, etc.) that adds 4 to that stat per pokemon, just for clairification.
