Welcome to Third Generation's featured thread- the Poll of the Month! Seeing as this board's a bit slower than most on PokéCommunity, we'll be doing monthly polls rather than weekly ones, but the premise will be the same- pick any of the options from the poll above, and feel free to post about your choices. Now with all that said, this month's poll question is:

"Which third generation Rock-type Gym Leader is your favorite?"

Both the first Gym Leaders in their respective regions, Roxanne and Brock are true specialists of Rock-type Pokémon. While they both rely on Geodude, Brock is known for his Onix, while Nosepass is Roxanne's signature Pokémon. The real question though, is who is your favorite of the two? Let the voting begin!

Same here, I've gone with Brock because I'll always remember him as the very first gym leader I ever took on. He was a little tricky at first because I usually chose Charmander and defeating his team proved to be a little difficult for me as a kid. Not to mention he was a great character in the Indigo League anime and after watching that growing up I don't think I'll forget him, sorry Roxanne but you just can't compete.

I voted Brock as well, likely because he gave me some good laughs while watching the anime. Roxanne is awesome as well, but she can feel forgettable after you defeat her.

I also voted Brock. He's such an enjoyable character, and the Anime definitely made me like him more. Roxanne is a nice Gym Leader, but she's so forgettable, unfortunately.

I voted Brock, although I am a fan of Roxanne. It was nice to get a new rock type Gym leader, and one of my favorite Hoenn leaders as well. But Brock is just all kinds of iconic, though you could look at it as he's really a 1st gen character :P

As said by many already, Brock is just a much more memorable character. Both by being the first gym leader (chronologically speaking, going from the very first games) and because of his huge role in the anime. Brock has always been one of my favorites. Always will be. :pink_love:

Roxanne. the fact that Brock never opens his eyes is creepy (and the one time he did in the anime was more creepy :P)

Definitely Brock! I LOVED his roll in the anime, which made me like him in the games...
