4th Gen What did you name yourself, your rival,and your Pokémon?

I named myself Ace because thats my name, and my rival seph because in my ear that sounded cool, and he looks somewhat strong to me with the character and the music so i though seph would fit. I didn't nickname any of my pokemon though because i dont like doing that XP

Rival: Gold (Myself after my game, SoulSilver, and the other after the other, HeartGold..Well the originals..I just dislike Gold and luuurrvveeee Silver <3)

My brother named my rival as well as most of my Pokemon. Rival's name is "Mudkip", my Typhlosion is named Zero, and then we've got the silly names like a Noctowl named "O RLY?!?!?!" and a Gastly named "Rick Gastley".

When playing as a girl:

same thing as boy with pokemon
I named the characters after those in the magna like what mainly makes sence

I named the protagonist after me, the rival after my 'friend' who is actually really mean, and I don't name my Pokemon because I don't see any point.

I always name the characters in relation to their starter Pokemon. Example, I named my rival Tyson because his starter was Typhlosion. Sometimes, I name myself Markus for the simple reason that is my name... usually on my first play through of a game.

When I can't think of anything, I just name myself Gold and my Rival Silver because I like to give characters their manga names anyway. If not that, I'll just name him after myself or if I use lyra, I'll try to find a female name similar to mine. I don't usually nickname my Pokemon though because I always have a hard time coming up with something original.
