What did you named your Rival and yourself on D/P?

I named my Rival "Tyson", what name did you all put for your Rival?

Well, I named my rival:

1- In Pearl JAP, Akito (written in Katakana length)
2- In Diamond USA, Akito (again ^^, but not in Katakana LOL!)
3- In Pearl ITA, Ryan (Tyson is my name on this game)

Well, for my first game, it was bigg T, 'cause two of my friends and I had a giant chain. And my friend whose nickname was bigg T chose Piplup, and I chose Chimchar, so yeah.

On my new one, it's Kyle. Just 'cause.

Well heres mine:
Diamond:Named him Daniel after my friend(plus he looks like one)
Pearl: Named him Abe-o(after me because thats one of my nicknames).My character was a girl in this one,named Ashley(My love<3), so it was obvious I was going to nickname the rival character after me:P

For Diamond I named him Phil, after my best friend and in Pearl I named him Mike, after me ^.^

Ever since Pokemon Red, I've named my rival Blue because I'm always named Red.

I named mine Clint. I think that was one of the pre-sets or something. I don't put all that much thought into rival names.

In Diamond I called my "best friend" Dustin because I think that name really suits him.

Has he actually appeared in the animé with an official name, like Gary?

It sounded pretty pwnful.

Actually, I forgot that we got to name the rival at the time, I just assumed they were all called Thetus after a while :)
