4th Gen What Gender Is Your Character?

What gender is your character in the games? Because some boys go as girls so I want to find out the most popular!

I'm a girl, and have played as a girl ever since Crystal :B

I tend to like their character designs a lot more, too.

I'm a boy and I chose the Girl since I didn't like the way Lucas looks, maybe if he resembled Hareta or Diamond(from PokeSpec) more then I would have chose him.

What I meant to say is that ummmmmm I prefer to look at a girl most of the game more than a boy. Yes that's what I meant.

I choose a boy all the time

but my friend choses a girl and he's a boy
because he was playing LG and came to victory road he chose a boy that time
but sadly didn't pass it

then he restarted the game and chose a girl and passed the victory road
and now he has been doing that ever since
he thinks picking a girl character gives him more luck.

Diamond my sister has and i think she is playing as a girl
Pearl i have and im a girl
Platinum is mine and i play as a boy

I chose the girl in Platinum only because I think the male character looks odd.

Generally the female characters look a lot better than the male ones. They're hair waves around more and they're just generally more stylish. However, I always play as a boy because I'm a boy and playing as a girl would be rather strange (when my friends come round and they see I'm a girl they'd find that pretty laughable).

I actually base it on whose sprite I like better. Lucas' hat is too awkward for me, though, so I typically go as Dawn in DPPt. Can't say the same for other games, though.

I usually get both games in a "set" (for lack of a better word, my brain isn't quite turned on yet).

I always choose the girl in the first one I play and the boy in the second.

If there's a third, the decision is a spur-of-the-moment thing.

DPPt was the first one I played as the girl because the guy looks like a huge tool.

The same gender as me which is male. 95% of the time I go with the same gender as me and I never based it on how good their sprites look.

I always choose a boy and call it Andrew after me.
My sister always chooses a girl and names it after her.
I play as a character even if I hate the sprite.
