NOONE is classified as "Pokemon Master".
And you never gave your translation, the original official subtitles, or anything to begin with.
    Until that, I don't care.

Than you might be surprised how Brest Wishes series(Unova) was heavily centralized around dragon pokemon masters with main girl Iris wanting to become master of said type.

Along with Opelucid city gym ldeader Drayden being marked as dragon pokemon master. Granted it was never explained properly how he gained this title but it was heavily tied with dragon village and Elders.

Bering explained in BW series how dragon masters are exceptional dragon experts with huge knowledge about dragon pokemon knowing how to read their hearts and realize their feelings using them in most optimal way. With dragon master title being assigned to worthy trainers from dragon village community.

So if Unova already introduced dragon master, who is to say how Misty dream of becoming water pokemon master or Ash goal of becoming pokemon master is suddenly "nonexistant"?

Especially when in canon, storyline it was already established time after time what this careers imply/mean. Actually in Misty case if you payed atention to what water priestess Maya in Whirl islands and prpof, Elm said. Title Alpha OMega of water pokemon winner of Whirl Cup gets is convoluted form of water pokemon master title. Being connected with it and sea heroes(water experts) were classified as such in past. According to episodes "Around the Whirlpool!", Dueling Heroes!" and "Perfect Match!".

Its even more surprising how your denying validity of master and type master goals when pokemon games themselves established how such titles exist. In fame checker of pokemon champion Lance it is stated how he is grandson of elder who is in charge of famous clan of dragon masters.

When gym leader Koga became E4 in second generation he also became poison type pokemon master. Aong with every E4 mermber in games being labelled as master of respective type they specialize in,. Being stroingest one type trainers in world.

Your right how whole path and way in how someone can gain title of dragon/water master or Ash case pokemon master was left largely unexplained, possible tasks and tests you need to pass not being known or requirements to warrant this title being assigned.
Butr final destination is known and what this dreams ultimately mean with Iris sory, MIsty stiory and encounters with water experts, Ash journey and whole conceot of champion league shedding some light on this subjects.

Pertain to bad writing, but just because something isnt properly written doesnt suddenly erase what canon of this anime and games themselves defined to exist.

P.S. About episodes "Elite Meet and Greet!" or "Trainer Child and Reunion!" giving links or anything similar is against the rules. But i already explained what original Japanese version set in those episodes with champion league not making someone pokemoln master only bringing you closer toward said title.

Just like i mentioned people more than familiar with pokemon original version you can contact in case you have doubts about veracity of my words.

This topic is about,if Pokemon did the same,if they stopped after Season 1/2 and then resumed the show after lots of time, what would've happened?Would it be still popular? Will people see it? Will YOU watch it? Would the anime be in a better position than now? Would the hype be crazy?

Keep this in mind, everyone ;P This thread is getting a little out of hand.

If the Pokémon anime had ended after one or two seasons, then only now just began a second life/revival, I don't think such a revival would even make it far off the ground. It probably wouldn't matter if the restarting series featured Ash and Pikachu, or an entirely new main character. After all, Pokémon just isn't the mega-craze that it was from 1998-2000.
