    I like watergun (the attacks both Squirtle and Totodile can learn, also headbutt that Charmeleon can use in the anime.

    I like Ice Beam more then any other attack. I love how it is both strong and hits most of the time.

    My favourite is Drill Peck! Powerful flying move learned naturally by all the cool birds like Fearow, Dodrio, Zapdos, etc. Hmm, and Fly is a useful move both in and out of battle.

    I have a fondness of the Leer animation in the old R/B/Y games, where the screen flashes black and then the screen shakes (or was that Glare? some move like that).

    And there's probably a whole bunch more but I can't recall right now.

    Electric - Thunder, Fire - Flamethrower, Grass - Solarbeam, Water - Surf, Dark - Crunch, Psychic - Psychic, Ice - Ice Beam, Steel - Iron Tail, Poison - Toxic, Ground - Earthquake, Rock - Rock Slide, Ghost - Shadow Ball, Bug - Silver Wind, Fighting - Sky Uppercut, Flying - Aerial Ace, Normal - Hyper Beam, Dragon - Outrage
