2nd Gen What is your team on GSC/RBY?

I just recently restarted my Gold, so right now all I have is a Level 10 Pidgey and a Level 9 Totodile. Before I restarted, I had Lugia, Entei, Meganium, Ursaring, Pidgeot and Umbreon on my team.
 
Dangit, the file got corrupted, that's really trippy! I will have to try Red now, that really sucks because my Sandshrew evolved and it was dominating everything! Oh well, I may just play Crystal now..
 
In my Yellow ROM I've got a huge team.

Pikachu Lv. 67
Charizard Lv. 69
Blastoise Lv. 68
Venusaur Lv. 68
Nidoking Lv. 70
Mewtwo Lv. 70

Now I'm completing the Pokèdex. (The only thing you can do, after beating Elite Four and catched all Legendaries :D)
 
Accidently restarted I'm in the underground and I have

King, a level 22 Croconaw

Wade, a level 21 Furret

and Dreams, a level 15 drwozee who I'm currently training.
 
On Red I'm working on going through the E4 one more time with a new team before I put it aside and dust off my old Yellow cartridge.

Boy/Nidoking/lv.55
Liz/Charizard/lv.67
Sloth/Snorlax/lv.33 (he's the only one left to level up, darn slow-growers :P )

Oh my gosh just today I was playing Pokemon Red for a while but then I got off to play crystal a little bit. After that i turned on Red again and BAM..... my hard earned game was gone.......well I still remember my team that once was so here it is.
Red Team:
Mewtwo lvl 100
Charizard lvl 72
Pidgeot lvl 43
Chansey lvl 45
Mew lvl 46
And I think I had one of my lvl 100 Vaporeon clones there too.

Crystal Team:
Scyther lvl 43
Vaporeon lvl 100
Pidgeot lvl 38
Pineco lvl 20
Typhlosion lvl 48
Quagsire lvl 25

I'm proud of my Crystal team even though it might not be much in the minds of strong trainers out there.

My Silver team's not so different from yours, it's got a bird, a bug, an Eeveelution, Typhlosion and (sometimes) a Quagsire. I'm only halfway through the game right now.

Skarmory, lv. 41
Umbreon, lv. 43
Ampharos, lv. 43

When I don't need SURF, Jynx (lv. 43) or a Pokemon who needs training usually fills the gap.

So many Pidgeots! I've always gone with Fearow or one of the later birds like Dodrio because of the Peck attacks - is Pidgeot a good offense once you get Fly or do y'all use him as defense?
 
@emlam: Pidgeot is good once you get Fly, but as a Flying/Normal, I'll use him as a stallon the Elite Four for healing.

I'm slightly farther in Silver, as you can see, because most of the levels are higher on my Silver team (with the exception of Skarmory).

Later on in the game I'll be adding Growlithe, also when I receive the super rod I'm going to catch a Poliwhirl and trade it for a Jynx

Edit: i'll also be evolving Pikachu once it learns Thunder at Lv43, Growlithe I'll evolve once it learns all of it's moves or about Lv40
