    My favourite artists are Detroit Metal City and Iwasaki Taku. The rest I have are just some random anime soundtracks I like.

    To name all the Japanese bands and singers I listen to on a semi-regular basis:
    Rica Matsumoto (purely because of Pokémon OP songs)
    Imakuni? / Suzukisan (I think I know all the words to Pokémon Ierukana?)
    LM.C
    Maximum the Hormone
    Nightmare
    Akiko Shikata (sang the Opening songs for Umineko VMs and Anime)
    Aya Hirano (aka Haruhi Suzumiya, Konata Izumi and so on)
    JAM Project
    Masaaki Endoh/Endou (sings a lot of anime OP themes)
    Hironobu Kageyama (sings a lot of anime themes, is also part of JAM Project)

    At least, these are all the ones that I can name off the top of my head.
