What Megas do you want in Sun and Moon?

I'd think that they'd instead give those 3 Primal Reversions or Megas when the inevitable Gen 4 remakes come out sometime in the future.

I think Primal Reversions is only a Hoenn thing. With that said, I don't think they'll follow either of the two. I think they'll be given a different... something. Megas for them would be boring, and Primal Reversions would be taking away from this unique Hoenn-only experience.

  • I want to see a new eeveelution get a mega. I would love to see a dragon eeveelution to get a mega the most.
Other than that, I really dont know, I mean, after a couple of generations if this keeps going we will have like 150 megas. Is this even fair to the pokemon that dont get one? How will competitive shift(with being able to mega evolve just one pokemon per battle)? Lore wise, its only natural from the explanation they gave to mega evolution that every single pokemon can mega evolve. All it takes is bonds, trust and a couple of stones. If the next 2 games after Sun and Moon go as expected and are Z, the new emerald, and maybe a remake of Fire Red/Leaf Green or any other remake, it would mean that we wouldnt get new pokemon which in return means that they have to give mega evolution to more and more of the "older" pokemon. So either, they should give a solid explanation as to why some pokemon cannot mega evolve and continue produce megas OR completely stop making megas and again give a decent explanation as to why new pokemon cannot mega evolve in another region.

I suppose the reason would be that people of the new region wouldn't know about it, and when they learn about it, they haven't formed the sort of bonds with their Pokemon to be able to use it correctly. Like Korrina in XY anime, it's a learned thing rather than a natural thing, and if Mega Evolution doesn't carry through to Sun and Moon that's probably the best way I can think of to explain it. Because really, even if they've formed a strong bond with their Pokemon, if they haven't mastered it in the way that Mega Evolution needs then there's no way Mega Evolution is gonna be effective. I do think we'll magically find Mega Evolution in the new region, though...

That would work in the anime but not in the games and/or the discussions after the release of new megas. I mean, even if they said that in the anime/game of XY, after we got the 2 stones we could immediately mega evolve pokemon that we had just caught. Its an explanation but not a solid one. The X/Y games treated mega evolution as a mystery. I want in the new games to get a professor or a guru/specialist later in the game that will give a definite explanation to mega evolution and i want that explanation to be solid enough to cover the wholes of the previous games. Personally, I would like to hear something like that not only the trainer-pokemon relationship matters but the pokemon-pokemon relationship matters as well, for example there is a leader pokemon in the party that only that one can mega evolve(that would explain the one mega per battle), but its getting more and more complicated.

I'd want Mega Chandlure, Mega Porygon-Z, Mega Carnivine, Mega Venilluxe, Mega Reuniclus, and Mega Co***rigus to name a few we need more gen 5 megas and well little Carnivine deserves it :3

I would love to see Zoroark, Milotic, Flygon, Luxray and Staraptor, Victini, Manaphy & Jirachi getting megas, pluss Darkrai & Cresselia (if one gets both should.)

All the starters will have one eventually i suppose, unless they are taking the "special" ash-greenninja special evolution further.

Hmm...I wonder, will Greninja get a Mega since it already has an alternate form? Thus far, Pokemon with alternate forms haven't had mega evolutions, and I wonder how they're going to address that if they plan on giving every fully evolved Pokemon a Mega...excluding Legendaries which get alternate forms, anyway. I guess they'll just miss them out or something? Seems a bit inconsistent though, since Mega Evolution is a lot stronger than a regular form change.

  • Hmm... which megas eh? I think they should give mega to pokemon that were really week in the past or lack evolution like Mega Wobbuffet, Mega Farfetch'd, Mega Lapras, Mega Mew (Mewtwo got two like Charizard and it's a bit unfair that mew didn't got right?), Mega Qwilfish and more. But we will see if it has more mega forms or new pokemon or even new evolution methods.

I would think that Solrock and Lunatone would get megas but I would like to see some unexpected megas like more from Unova?

Hoping that they give them more to Pokemon that kinda don't get that much love anymore... like I love how they've given Megas to Pokemon like Mawile, Pinsir, Banette, etc.

Anything to give more Pokemon a chance of being used by the majority of people :)

  • None really. I like how many Megas we have now, and would rather see something different this time around.

I would however like to see a rebalancing of the Megas, so that they are not direct upgrades of their pre-evolutions. For example, having them only Mega Evolve during their turn, instead of having max priority, or having them last only five turns, like weather.

  • Espeon, Umbreon, Solrock and Lunatone are a must imo XD

Title significance aside, I'd love to have a Mega Lapras, Mega Stunfisk (YES I SAID IT), Mega Furfrou, Mega Luxray (would be cool), Mega Exeggutor (Sun love?), Mega Noctowl (Moon love? :P), Mega Sunflora, Mega Vileplume and Mega Bellossom.

  • Haven't read the entire thread yet, but I can imagine more people (just like me) would like to see more starters getting a mega-evolution ^_^ Also, would have loved to see Flygon getting one too, hopefully there's still a possibilty for this one. Also, since Beedrill got one, maybe Butterfree should get one too (would 'fit' better imo, why would Beedrill out of these two get one and the other is left out?).

  • I want a Mega Dunsparce. I would like it to have a long serpentine body like Milotic/Seperior, with a menacing stare. I wants it's typing to be Normal/Dragon or Normal/Ground. I want it's designed to be related to it's pokedex description of it.

    I want it to be GAWD! ; - ;

A Mega Girafarig be awesome too! I kind want the back of it's tail be more active in battle. I would to see it be a Normal/Ghost typing.

Overall I want more under the rug pokemon to shine more. I also want more monstrous pocket monster to balance out the cute side of pokemon.

Game Freak actually planned to have a Mega Flygon in 6th Gen but they had trouble coming up with a suitable design, and I don't blame them because its original design is already good and it would have been hard to improve on it. But maybe we may finally see the Mega come in 7th Gen.
