So I'm planning on having a movie night with my friends over. We're all 13, 14, or 15. What are some really good movies we could watch that are appropriate (like no cursing, swearing, nudity, etc.)? We all hate movies that has nothing but romance, and love action/adventure. It would be great if the movie is a little funny, too. Some spy movies would be great too because we all love reading those kinds of books too.

Yeah Twilight sounds like a perfect movie for 13-15 year old girls. You'd better get on that bandwagon while it's semi fresh.

    NOT TWILIGHT!!!

If you want something without nudity, profanity etc. but still very good, I suggest Rat Race! Hilarious film with romance, action and a hysterical race for $2,000,000! The story is about six teams of people given a task of racing 563 miles (918km) from a Las Vegas casino to a train station in Silver City, New Mexico where a storage locker contains two million dollars. The first team to reach the locker wins and gets to keep the money. Unbeknownst to them, however, they are actually just part of a betting game.

If you want something more romantic, mysterious, thrilling and chilling. Check out The Prestige. The story follows Robert Angier and Alfred Borden, rival stage magicians in London at the beginning of the 20th century. Obsessed with creating the best stage illusion they engage in competitive one-upmanship with tragic results. There films narative is distinctivly nonlinear. Themes of duality, obsession, sacrifice, and secrecy pervade the conflict between the two magicians

For more powerful, thought-provoking cinema then watch Slumdog Millionaire. Set and filmed in India, the film tells the story of Jamal Malik, a young man from the dharvai slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and exceeds people's expectations, thereby arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials. He then explains his life story. Its a beautiful romance and the portrayal of Indian slum life is very moving. You'll no doubt be crying by the end.

If you want nothing more than jollity and a good sing song, but with the dark magic of director Tim Burton, may I suggest The Nightmare Before Christmas? It may not be the correct time of year, but its still a great movie. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a being from "Halloween Town" who opens a portal to "Christmas Town". The songs and the animation are terrific and it all very wity and tongue in cheek.

    Enjoy!

Though if you have a problem with the graphic killing of cute little white birds, it probably isn't for you. There are other disturbing moments as well.

Moulin Rouge. If you like Ewan McGregor, musicals and lots of wild costumes this is your movie. Just be sure to stop it at the end of the big musical number.

You should get the movie Get Smart. It's about spies, but it's not overly done with action/adventure. It's more of a comedy then anything.

Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell are in it btw.

You can never go wrong with Pixar movies, either. Wall-E, Up, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Cars, Monsters Inc.. they'll never disappoint, no matter how old you are. ;D

The Chronicles of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe/Prince Caspian) movies are really good. Good clean movies with an interesting storyline and an action/adventure aspect. :D

Hmm. Something else pretty free of cursing and the like would be the Pink Panther movies with Steve Martin - a comedy about an inspector trying to solve a diamond theft.

Also, Pirates of the Caribbean. <3

She said they HATE not love movies with romance. So obviously, don't choose Twilight.
Try The Nightmare Before Christmas. Pretty awesome movie.

And there is a kiddy series called Spy Kids. Can't remember if it had anything to do with spies, but give those a try.
