  • So basically this is a thread to answer a quesiton. If you had to think about it for a long time, what city which appears somewhere in Pokemon do you think resembles your living area? Do you think your living area is like Nuvema Town because it's quiet, quaint and has a Pokemon Professor there, or something big and bustling like Saffron City because it's full of big corporations and city people? Discuss this topic.

My living area is quiet, near a rural pseudo-country place, and does have a small park near there, so I would say that my living area currently is a lot like Floaroma Town. It's quiet and stuff, but not too quiet that it'd be considered deserted almost. There is some sort of a park/forest there as well, and it's near water, which is all good. :)

If there was a city full of pollution and garbage in the Pokemon world, that would pretty much sum up the city I'm currently living at. But besides that, its like Saffron/Goldenrod/Castelia City because of all the corporations and companies that floods the whole area.

  • That's a tough one but the town that I would think that most closely resembles my town it Cerulean City.

There's a river and lot's of trees in the town I live in and Cerulean City has those two features as well. As well as that, Cerulean City which is connected to Saffron by route 5 is similar to how my town isn't too far away from a bigger town/city.

  • I'd say my area most resembles Nuvema or Sandgem town, as I live in a small town by the beach.

  • The closest thing I can think of is Driftveil City. I live in an urban area so calling it a city is accurate and we've got some mountains close by and Driftveil happens to look like kind of a mountainous city.

  • I'd say mauville city, since my area has sub-urban feeling, and has many interstates not far away from where I live. Strangely enough, there is a local casino 10 miles away from my house, and bike shop (actually general sports shop) is only within walking distance.

Well there's Gringey City from the anime, which is filled with pollution and electricity, caused by Grimer and Magnemite. Maybe that's the city you're thinking about?

  • My current location resembles Solaceon, because it's the kind of country hick town that people tend to pass through and never acknowledge. It's only on the map because of historical value, but it has certainly been declining over the years. There's not much at all to do there and you have to drive several miles over to somewhere else to find something good. I plan to move out of there and take up root in a big city when I finish college. It's going to be great when I do!
