3rd Gen What was the hardest part of R/S/E when you started playing it?

Wallace's ludicolo on emerald (Surf would own my skarmory)
3rd puzzle in 8th gym
Finding snorunts (found 1 but killed it)
Norman without fighting pokemon in R/S
creating teams without using same pokes over and over

If you only train your starter like me, you should be on lvl. 75 by wallace. Everything was easy except for Elite 4 (they are easy if you have lots of elixirs, however.) As for tate and lisa I just trained a sharpedo.

Wellllllll......... i had some problems beating the 7th gym leader, my pokemon were on lv 39- 41, lunitone's psychic troubled me. but my sharpedo and my sceptile beat them!

Heh, you should train much harder next time. I do have to admit that the seventh gym was the hardest though.

i know, why the 6th gym is lv33 and then 7th gym lv44?

The reason there is such a level difference is because you have all the area between Fortree and Mossdeep to train most of your Pokemon up to higher levels.

Actually for me Winona was the hardest . Her Swellow kept on using double team and I coudn't hit her

yur right feebas is pretty tough too

I personally did not have any problem finding Feebas. You just have to go into the entire endeavor with an open mind.

in emerald I am doing the battle dome (one where you use rental pokemon) and

and I lost a struggle war because of D#mn 6 DT and struggle leftovers recovery

this thing killed my team of steelix/medicham/and kingdra

It would do this

1 sing
2 attract
3 confuse ray
4 repeat 1 and 3 when needed with occasonal surf

Defeating Tate and Liza on Emerald was really hard at first until I evolved my spheal into a walrein.

On ruby, I somehow struggled really badly through Route 119 or 120. (The one to Fortree with long grass and weather institute.)

On Emerald I really had difficulty beating Wallace till I caught Rayquaza.

well the hardest part for me was tate and liza, their combos did me in quickly.
