OK... technicly... i just wanna know the most favored starter of all four generations.

Going to say Cyndaquil for voting's sake, but on a more detailed level:

Kanto: Charmander
Johto: Cyndaquil
Hoenn: Treecko
Sinnoh: Piplup/Chimchar

Fire Pokemon just make me smile, really ;)

I got a thing for grass starters when I chose Chikorita on Crystal.

Mudkipz all the way! Who in the world wouldn't like mudkipz, there are entire countries clans for mudkipz :P

Diverse yet good. I tend to lean towards water, but chika and charmander have that spot for me...

Ive always been a good trainer with water, but the 2nd gen water starter (Totodile) let me down, so I went to cyndaquil.

Most of them are shite. I'd have love to have Aerodactyl as a starter. Would have been ace though too easy.

It may seen strange for a water-lover like me to take fire types, but water starters were quite bad until this generation. Lapras is better than Blastiose for example.
