  • Whitney is the reason I have to be sure that I always have a female Geodude caught early on in the game. Rollout and Attract can slaughter you otherwise.

Personality-wise Clair's whiny, but Blue's just plain arrogant.

    Pokémon Wise:
-Bugsy's Scyther: Oh, that thing was soo annoying!!
-Whitney's Miltank: All my Pokémon were male at that time...I had a horrible time beating her.
-Morty's Haunter/Gengar: Shadow Ball, Mean Look....oh I hate that thing.
-Chuck's Poliwrath and Primeape: Both of them were hard like UGH!!
-Jasmine's Steelix: Even though I have a Quilava with fire type moves...it's just too tough..
-Clair's Kingdra: She's so tough that I had to use my level 47 Dialga from Diamond XP.
All of those gym leaders I took multiple times to beat it. Pryce? Took him down on first try. I was gonna say Falkner because it took me two times to finally beat it...nah, he was easy...I just started the game (in that time) after all.

    -Lt. Surge
    -Sabrina

  • (k so I've only played Heartgold up to Badge 4 but I played the original gold all the way through, so I already know what to expect from the gym leaders for the most part. Whitney was a nightmare.)

Whitney for sure. If it isn't embarrassing enough that your Pokemon are falling in love with a friken cow, it has to embarrass you further by flattening your whole team with rollout. Whitney, STFU, stop crying, and go make me a sandwich!

  • Hm... All of the gym leaders I had trouble with were due to me being underleveled. I tried to go with a balanced team it really got me into trouble because I wasn't willing to train for long amounts of time (until the Elite 4).

I had no trouble with Whitney at all. lol. I got that Machop and I knocked out her Miltank in something like two turns (and she only used Stomp. I was expecting Roll Out, but just Stomp. Easy!).

I had more trouble with the Rival battle and Bugsy than I ever did with Whitney.

I didn't like Clair because I didn't have any moves that were super effective against Kingdra... So that battle lasted forever. I'm like "Yay! It's over now!" and then she uses a Full Restore or whatever... T_T

  • Morty was a nightmare to beat, and still is the worst when it comes to rematches!
Of course Clair is going to be tough, she's a DRAGON GYM LEADER. I kinda didn't like Lt Surge because I don't have any types which are good for fighting electric Pokemon, but I just sent out Meganium and Frenzy-Planted his ass.
Poison is a total ***** too. But easily manageable, as most are bug types and no match for my Typhlosion/Charizard.

  • Hmm seams everyone hates Clair !! :\ She is a bit of a child, but i never though someone would hate Surge !! Well, guess everything's possible !!

I beat Clair with an underleveled Dewgong and still won.

I took down Lt. Surge's Pokemon easily. Just used my Piloswine's Earthquake.

  • Chuck, since he has no life and still beat me about ten times before I beat him... but Claire comes close second due to her whiny attitude.
But for some reason, I always hated Sabrina. Mostly because of those stupid warp tiles...

I would say Whitney, except with a little luck I was able to put her Miltank to sleep with a female Gastly and then 2HKO it with Charmeleon's Flamethrower.

Not looking forward to Morty, though, he could end up being my most hated gym leader since he uses a GENGAR at that stage of the game, which is likely to be stronger than any Pokemon on your team at that point. He was a pain even during my first playthrough (with hacks) >.<

  • I really don't like Bugsy. He was too easy to beat, I hate bugs, and whenever I hear his name I think of Bugs Bunny. -.-
I think what also got me hating him is all those Bug Catcher trainers, whose teams are fulled with wurmples.

  • Whitney, Pryce and Clair..
Whitney cause of her stupid Miltank..
Pryce cause of Dewgong.. had alot of time, even my Thypsolion's Flamethrower was about to finish.. and defeated him...
Clair cause her last Pokemon, Gyarados or Dragonair.. i dont know! It takes me alot of revives for my Thypsolion!!!
And i havent defeated Kanto's gym leaders.

  • I'd say Jasmine is the easiest, but the hardest I'd say is either Chuck due to his Focus Punch and Claire due to the fact that she got whooped by a superier trainer :).
