  • I remember the good memories of Nugget Bridge....

I would never join the dark side, No Team Rocket, or any other Team for me. If I were to live in the Pokemon world I would be a Pokemon Connoisseur [like Cilan] or a Pokemon Doctor [like a male version of Nurse Joy] and help out the good trainers.

If I was contacted by an evil organization, like Team Rocket, then I would refuse to join them

Never. I hate taking orders from people, and in an organisation with such limited goals (let's steal a couple of pokémon and set up a casino! yeah!) I wouldn't have the patience to try and rise up the ranks. Although they're probably better to work for than most supermarkets, the fact that you can't use pokémon that aren't so weak a 10-year old can take you out...lets it down a bit.

  • Sure why not, with my ninja skills I would be a pokemon trainers worst nightmare, plus it might be fun being on an evil team

  • Eh, I'd prolly join Team Rocket, if only to steal an outfit, gain control of their powerful Pokes/mechs, turn members against each other, swipe Giovanni's left shoe, and basically just troll the entire organization. Then, as I leave the smoldering ashes of TR's once-glorious crime syndicate, I shall don my TR outfit just to mess with people.

  • I obviously would, haha. But only if I can be a high-ranking member! I'd probably be ruthless enough to try and overthrow Giovanni.

  • If we were given the option in a game, I wouldn't have to think twice about joining Team Rocket. If it were a real life situation, though, there's no way I'd join an organization that's all for exploiting people and Pokemon.

  • That's a hard question. I've always wanted to be able to press "yes" in RBY/FRLG and be a member of Team Rocket for a little while. So maybe, I've always wondered what it would be like. Though they don't seem to get good privileges there. I mean the strongest Pokemon they usually have are Golbat and Muk and they normally don't even have that it's usually a bunch of Rattata and Zubat. Though I seeing things from their shoes is always something I've always wanted to do at least once. Though the thing is , they're an evil organization, I wouldn't want to be overcome with evil and power and turn bad. I like being a good guy and the hero. So I might also join with good intentions just to screw up their organizations and take them down. Or I'd join to troll with them and eventually get fired. So maybe.

It's a good question. If you asked me this question a couple of months ago, I would of automatically said no. But nowadays, I'm sort of leaning to both sides. It'd be fun joining the organization and trolling them- stealing possessions from grunts, setting fire to the Headquarters, all sorts of mischievous things while trying to look innocent as possible. But then what about actually getting involved in the wrongdoing? No I would never be a criminal and commit harm to citizens or Pokemon. There are much better things to do in the world than cause havoc. Plus the Pokemon you use are weak unless you advance through the ranks- even then they aren't that strong.

So I woudl probably join just to troll them, but as for committing wrongdoing with them, absolutely not. :[

"I'll join if you make me the boss" (well, kinda like this)

Team Rocket really needs some competence and an actual goal. With their weak Pokemon it'd be really boring joining them and losing all the time against kids because of that. I don't need.

I think one would be better in creating another Team, honestly. So my answer is no.

  • Join Team Rocket just to steal other folks pokemon? And we're talking game wise, right? Errr...Do u know how weak and useless da pokemon da trainers uses on the overworld is? lol Only peoples who would be worth stealing from are Ace Trainers and Special trainers like gym leaders. So...pass.

I wouldn't join just because of how lazy they are. If they spent the time they waste trying to steal Pokemon and actually train their Pokemon, they may have something going for them.

But I mean, a 10 year old kid takes down the entire organization. They're doing something wrong there lol

  • Difficult choice. If I don't join, then I have to constantly live in fear of people wanting to steal my Pokemon. If I DO join, then I'll be given Grunt status and probably be forced to use crappy Pokemon that I don't like.

I guess I'll go with no. I'd rather be scared and happy than safe and bored.

Hm... that's a really good question. If you would've asked me when I was a child, I would've said: NEVER! However, now my answer is a little different: only if I got to be the leader of Team Rocket. (which would be highly unlikely) It's a little sad how a famous crime syndicate known for being dangerous could be taken down so easily by a ten year old and the cruddy pokemon the grunts have to use. Plus, stealing pokemon? That's a jerkish move- why steal when you can just go capture one in the wild legally and save the poor trainer and pokemon sadness? I would make some changes around Team Rocket (probably making it so we weren't 'technically' illegal, but...) Going for... WORLD DOMINATION! Mwahahah! XD *Sighs* It'd be awesome.

    No, I wouldn't have said yes. Team Rocket might be the first and original evil team in pokémon, but they have the worst goal. They want to become rich through crime, basically. Compared with the other teams, they are quite shallow and plainly evil ^^;

The Hoenn teams had their reasons (even though they, especially Magma, carried their ideas out in stupid ways) and Team Galactic was pretty much working towards their leader's dream of world domination, right? Evil in a different way. And Plasma, well, they have such a rich story that we can't really compare them.

If it was just in that game, I would actually have liked to press "yes" and try to play as them for a while, just for fun ^^ But if I was the trainer, for real, I wouldn't have wanted to deal with them in other ways than by kicking their, hm, bottoms.
