60% Kanto Pokemon----> Most likely, this is due to me being at the peak of my game-playing with Pokemon. Nostalgia most likely comes into play as well, and I've always found the original set of Pokemon to be appealing design-wise.
20% Johto----> Here begins the decrease, and I'm actually sort of surprised I didn't pick more Johto Pokemon- if it had been top thirty, I think the percent would have been up by quite a bit. This was the last generation where I purchased the games (I had Silver and Crystal), so the virtual non-existance of Hoenn and Sinnoh pokemon is explained by me 1) simply losing interest and 2) not wanting to surrender the money to buy a DS as well as RES or DP.
10% Hoenn----> I already explained above, but I feel I should explain why Hoenn is at the very bottom of the list. I almost totally lost interest during the time where Hoenn was released as well as the anime. I've caught up since then, but I wasn't there in the times where everyone got it firmly into their heads that the Treecko line and Blaziken were amazing. Sorry, but to me one looks like a dinosaur and one looks like a man-chicken. Can't see the hype with any of them, really.
10% Sinnoh----> Design-wise, I think Sinnoh had very few standouts. Overall, it was in my opinion, a pretty dull group of Pokemon; the only reason it is represented at all is because I think a few of them are great.
