Took forever to find a Vulpix in Tape Village.

Ayane is the star of my team right now with her high attack stat one hit KOing a lot. I am just waiting for her to learn High Jump Kick. Mila is to take out bugs and flyers that seem to be everywhere. Alolan Muk was brought in to give me an answer against Fairys.

Unless I find an amazing Shiny this is likely going to be my team until I beat the Champion. I have been very pleasantly surprised with Lycanroc.

The only Shiny I have found thus far was a Bounsweet and it's unfair to replace the star of my in-game team just because I found a Shiny version.

Well I've just hatched me a 6IV Female Vulpix. She's currently in PokePelago gaining some Effort values.

Maybe I'll get a 31/0/31/31/31/31/31 one (for confusion lol) and use that instead. But she's my pride and joy at the minute (Snow Warning, 4 Egg moves and Moon Ball, I love Moon Balls!)

As soon as she's ready, I'll level her up and finally replace Greninja.

Just added Eevee and Horsea to my team, now just need a Jangmo-o and a Alolan Vulpix/ Sneasel and it will be complete :)

Beat the game.

Not exactly creative with names (couldn't come up with one for Salazzle lol). Overall I really liked my team a lot, even if I shuffled a lot and used a bunch of different mons till the end.

Surprise MVP was Raticate, if he didn't one shot the enemy Pokemon, then it was a two shot. Hustle with Normal and Dark STAB combo is SO GOOD. Decidueye has been one of my favourite starters to use, and Golisopod's ability ended up helping me out since I played on set. Crabrawler is shiny, and as much as I like the evo, I decided to not evolve her because I still prefer its design and I wanted to beat the game with an NFE. She was great too w/ Eviolite. Salazzle was my only special attacker and did a fantastic job. Salamence I caught at the first island, replaced her by the 3rd island, and then decided to brought her back as my final member because I was craving both a dragon and flying type.

Other mons I used that stuck with me for a while in my playthrough:
Alolan Persian, Toucannon, Araquanid, Wishiwashi, Metang, Alolan Golem, Alolan Sandslash and Alolan Exeggutor.

The Grimer that I caught early on ended up becoming a long-term member, being surprisingly useful and honestly bailing me out a couple of times, even if it has started to lag behind just a little bit lately.

There was a point some years ago where I kinda didn't bother with using the boxart legend after catching it (with the exception of Zekrom of course). But this time I feel like using it again. Part of it's just that I want a 6th member as I'm pretty sure I'm almost at the end of the main story now, but part of it is that....I guess there's a bit of sap in me. The fact that it wants to come with you, and the fact of what it is.....I want to bring it with me.

And now I'm half-assedly SRing for a halfway decent nature for it lol.

Once I've picked up Sandygast from the Resort I'll be all set with that team. I did want to use Dhelmise, but the fact you get one so late in the game and the fact that I already have a Grass and Ghost planned for the team puts me off. Maybe in another playthrough, though!
