4th Gen Your dppt team throughout the years

Well basically this is a thread where you post the team you started with in the beginning of the game, when you beat the E4, and the one you use now (for going around the map prefferably) and look at how much has changed since then.

Beginner team:
Chimchar female my beloved starter who I use to this very day!
Starly female First pokemon caught and I never go anywhere without her.
Shinx female (what's with all the females?) I don't think I even knew shinx evolved at the beginning of the game so I wasn't really expecting to use it as long as I did
Abra male I taught him hidden power so I could train him into a kadabra, he really helped out in the battle against roark, eventally I traded him to a friend and right now he's lvl 80 something alakazam, they grow up so fast! :'(

Bidoof They're both here just because I needed to more poke's to fill up the slots

E4 team:
Infernape
Staraptor
Luxray The original trio!
Floatzel male My surfing pokemon, I don't use him much nowadays.
Sneasel male I started training him cause I knew he would one day become the awesome looking Weavile!
Dialga How could I have won without him by my side? I stopped using him when I saw that he's banned from the battle tower

Todays team:
Infernape
Staraptor
Blastoise male He's Floatzels replacement as the team's water type
Dragonite male Too freaking cool not to use
Glaceon male I think glaceon looks cool ( but not leafeon he sucks) so I trained one up.
6th spot normally has the poke I'm training with these guys.

Only 2 pokemon made it all the way to the end, the rest all live in a nice dark box forever now, what a great way to reward their loyalty!

Still though I would switch in and out ALOT! I loved Gengar and Machamp in that first play through!! :) To bad they're gone now :(

I started Pearl with:

Scizor (male)
Mothim
Armaldo (male)

Soon I added:
Beedrill (male)
Ledian (male)
Ariados (male)

I released the Beedrill and traded Palkia for a Vespiquen, whom I also released with Ledian, Ariados, and Armaldo.

I proceeded with Poké Radar to catch a Mareep, now an Ampharos and talked to Bebe to retrieve an Eevee, whom I leveled up and evolved into Vaporeon.

Elite 4:

Vaporeon

Scizor, Ampharos, and Vaporeon our my permanent team, and Scizor has been through it all.

Tropius (I was sick of the starters so I traded myself a level 5 Tropius from my ruby version. This Pokemon is a powerhouse and carried me through most of the game.)
Kadabra (I thought it looked pretty cool, so I wanted to try it out. It was really decent, I'm happy I had him with me.)
Girafarig (I never used one before and I wanted to give it a shot. It ended up being really powerful, I'm really happy I gave him a shot.)

Tropius (He's been with me every step of the way. I'm never getting rid of him. I'm breeding him, then sending his baby to my Soul Silver version once I get it.)
Kecleon (He's never left my team since I got him. I fell in love with this little guy the moment I saw him.)
Dragonair (I never used one before, so I caught a Dratini. He's become a solid member of my team since then.)
Claydol (Ah, my much loved Claydol. I don't know where I would be without this guy. I caught him to symbolize my love of ancient civilizations and have since developed a strong bond with him.)
Ninetails (I caught him in my ruby version and traded him to myself. He's such a beautiful, yet powerful Pokemon)
Politoed (I love Poliwag, but Poliwrath is too angry and aggressive for me. Politoed suits my personality much better.)

I love all my Pokemon, I think I may breed them and trade their babies to my Soul Silver version. I don't want to go without them. ^-^
