Richie's my favorite, because in a way he kind of resembles Ash, and he wasn't as serious as all of Ash's other rivals.

Barry is easily my favourite, actually, he's just my favourite character out of all the anime's characters. He's so hyperactive and it's so funny how he bumps into everyone and wants to fine everyone XD Plus, he got a great voice in both English and Japanese. It's worth watching an episode just because he's in it. Paul is a better rival to Ash, but I still prefer Barry.

Gary Oak - His an original. Definatly ash's best rival.
Paul - His a different kind of trainer with how he trains his pokemon and treats them. I think it makes the rivalry interesting.
