I liked the updated FR/LG especially the better trading and the colors. (Celadon never looked so good, lol.) Here's my team:

wait...they changed frlg to be better than the one i have? *smashes head against keyboard*

anyway, I've decided to start on training my alternate team; the levels are all very diverse, but that's because some are still in training:

    L33 Jolteon n/n Joltee

    L41 Arcanine n/n Growlie

    L33 Cloyster

L67 Crobat (or L62 Dragonite, haven't picked one yet)

    L48 Rhydon

L38 Mr. Mime n/n Mimien (yea, it's the traded one)

k ur team is pretty flawed...where do i start? Oh yea they're all flying types and have a weakness to ice, rock and electric. Also, some of ur pokemon are the same dual-type, such as charizard, moltres, dragonite and rayquaza. And five out of six of your pokes have a double weakness to something: Char, Molt and Arti are all doubly weak to rock, and Drag and Ray are both doubly weak to ice. Zapdos doesn't have a dual-weakness but is still weak to rock, and since most rock-types are also ground, zapdos's attacks will fail against them.

    Here's a suggested team:

Hang on to Charizard and Dragonite, they're some of the best poke's in the game, but here are suggested replacements for the others:

    ROCK

    Tyranitar

    Golem

    Rhydon

    PSYCHIC

    Alakazam

    Hypno

    Mr.Mime

    WATER/ICE

    Cloyster

    Dewgong

    Lapras

    ELECTRIC

    Raichu

    Jolteon

    Electabuzz

    and there it is.

    Current team:
    Alakazam, L54
    Sceptile, L53
    Blaziken, L54
    Swampert, L54
    Pelliper, L54
    Linoone, L54

Pretty much all HM slaves, Linoone is for Pick Up, and Zam just because they rock. I did manage to take on the E4 with this team, but that was a few levels ago (around L50). Currently breeding for actual competitive team, just got Curse onto a Mudkip. :-)

    My updated team:

    Swampert:
    Lv.39
    (holding Soft Sand)

    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Earthquake
Muddy Water <- Simply because I don't like the moves most people use in this slot.

This one's great. With some training it will prove very useful.

    Gardevoir:
    Lv.41
    (holding nothing)

    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Shadow Ball
    Thunderbolt

Same as before. I rather like this move set. Shadow Ball isn't fantastic but it has it's moments surprising other psychics.

    Breloom:
    Lv.41
    (holding Shell bell)

    Mach Punch
    Giga Drain
    Stun Spore
    Sky Uppercut

I like this pokemon as it is. The only thing I would change if I could is Stun Spore to Spore, but either way I like my Breloom.

    Trapinch:
    Lv.25
    (holding Exp. Share)

    Bite
    Sand Tomb
    Sand-Attack
    Faint Attack

    I'm currently training this one.

    Bagon:
    Lv.35
    (holding nothing)

    Ember
    Headbutt
    Focus Energy
    Dragonbreath

    Another one I'm training.

    Rayquaza:
    Lv.70
    (holding nothing)

    Fly
    Rest
    Outrage
    Flamethrower

I'll probally replace Rest with a special move I'm lacking like Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, and Surf.

You do know that Muddy Water is the SAME move as Surf, but only 85% accurate and 5 less PP, right? You should always avoid two attacking moves of the same type, especially less accurate ones. That only limits what your Pert can do.

Sorry maybe I should have been more clear.

I don't like the moves most people use in the last slot so I'm finding my own.
Muddy Water is just a filler for now.
I already know that Surf > Muddy Water.

Muddy water is stronget and 95% accurate and can lower accuracy..so you can use either surf or muddy water.

As for Dodrio yeah I know people laugh but it can take out teams all
on it's own a lot. In NB with the Leichi berry it's NUTTY...such an under
    appreciated pokemon.

That is incorrect. It is 95 AP and only 85% accurate compared to Surf that is 95 AP and 100% accurate. While it does have 30% chance to decrease Accuracy by 1 stage, that doesn't make up for the fact that it is itself inaccurate and inferior to Surf. MW and Surf on the same Poke is redundant. The only time I would suggest using MW is when a Poke cannot learn Surf.

BTW - Vanir, here is something for you. Train two of the same Poke. One has a neutral Nature and give the other a Nature that benefits it Base stats. Use them both in a battle and see which one is better.
