Your top 10 favorite Animes of all time

1. Trigun; the greatest anime ever~! "Love & Peace!"
2. Pokemon; Ashy :)
3. Naruto; Jiraiya and Kakashi are the best.
4. Inuyasha; because Miroku rocks my sox.
5. Digimon; I like them because they can transform forward and back. [First season and second only.]
6. Yugioh; the first one not DX or anything after.
7. Gungrave; the story-line was terrific.
8. Azumanga Daioh; ...I don't know why.
9. Bleach; Uryuu... Ishida.. my dreamy man. [Don't forget the guy in the hat!]
10. Tenchi Muyo; [...I feel bad for the star.]

I don't really have much of an order past the first five, there's just a big throng of ones that I like. There are a few series that I need to watch that I imagine will change this list anyway, as they're series that really appeal to my tastes.

Hard for me to do this, but I've agreed with this most recently. The top 4 at least are stable.

I know that Gurren Lagann is ridiculous, but it was just pure entertainment from the beginning to end for me. Code Geass, possibly would have been higher if it didn't get so weird in the second season. So yes, I understand and actually agree with a lot of the arguments against it, but still it was very entertaining to me personally and that's what puts it into this list.

The rest of it is pretty stable on my list. Although One Piece only moved up to number one last year, it definitely deserves it, and I just don't see that changing anytime soon. It feels like One Piece was made perfectly catered to my tastes.

I've only been watching anime seriously since February before that I just watched Bleach. XD

I actually had to consult my myanimelist account to remember which ones I liked. It's because I don't commit 100% of my memory to anything specific at any given time I suppose...

1. Darker Than BLACK - Every season and OVAs: Darker Than BLACK, to me is one of my all time favourite Animes. Why? It may be just another random people with powers type plot, but it also focuses on how those people feel, act and generally behave, as opposed to those other shows that focus on the discovery of their new-found power and the controversy surrounding it. Sure there may be others like DTB, but it still remains top in my top ten.
2. Blood+: Because it has the my vampires are different plot in it. Also, it features major corporations with the power to combat these mences and or control them with an awesome girl with a sword. I mean, she kills with her blood! Truly an Anime worthy of no2.
3. Death Note: An intense plot and awesome characterization with an evil genius that has no secret base or henchmen, just a powerful, but limited weapon. And, the awesome detective that is tasked with tracking him down. Really, you have to watch it to love it.
4. Code Geass - Both Seasons equally: In keeping with my theme of political powers vying for international superiority(just like what happened on a small scale in Blood+) I chose CG. It's really the politics that keep me enthralled by the story. It's also my favourite of the mecha genre.

I really couldn't decide... half of them are slice of life, and half are action anime, so there's really no way for me to pick a solid top 10. The top 2 are definitely my favs, but it was hard to choose after that.

Not in a particular order cuz it's hard for me to pick out of all the anime I liked. These are pretty much multigenre because of that.

Cardcaptor Sakura - The classic. It's what got me into Japanese Anime and is still good even after all those years
Dennou Coil - Not often do you find a series when the story takes priority over the character designs. None of the characters are necessarily moe, but the amount of story that's put into this series is what makes it amazing.
AIR (and Key works in general) - AIR being my first Key series, their stories are quite good, despite being melancholy.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - The anime that knows no bounds. This series took normal and generic and smashed it to pieces. Who cares about physics in a mecha anime when you can just make it as epic as possible.
Eden of the East [Higashi no Eden] - Again, another plot-driven anime. Eden of the East's key appealing point is that it takes place in a modern world. Nothing hugely futuristic is out there and to the most part, all characters are interesting.
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha - For the revival of the Mahou Shoujo genre in a fun and interesting way, with lots of pretty lasers too.
Baccano! - It's nice to see a series with some character focus, and this does just that. The plot may jump around quite a bit, but (almost) everything sums up in the end. Things that happen in one place will affect another, and it becomes very fun.
Natsu no Arashi - Taking up my comedy slot of my favorites, Natsu no Arashi is one of those comedy shows that takes an approach that's more than just sitting in a room talking the entire time.
Cross Game - Actually this was my first sports anime and i really liked the intro into this one so i just kept watching, and hey. It turned out really nicely.

Honorable Mentions: May as well be in at this point
Les Miserables - No one's actually decided to dedicate subbing this
ARIA (series) - While being nice and relaxing, I'm not always in the mood for some ARIA

I could tell it really wasn't an faithful Les Miserables adaptation, but it would be silly to expect that anyway, I guess. lol
