So there was the top 5 songs, but what about the top 5 albums that you think are the best. The other thread was kind of biased, no? But I'll make it fair by adding one good word to the title: "your"
1. "Get Behind Me Satan" by The White Stripes
2. "Late Registration" by Kanye West
3. "In Your Honor" by Foo Fighters
4. "Devils and Dust" by Bruce Springstein
5. "Fijacion Oral Vol. 1" by Shakira
Disappointment of 2005:
"X&Y" by Coldplay
People tell me that "you have to let it grow on you." But hell, fungi grows on you and you don't want it. I never got the album. They're trying too hard to sound like U2 but they fail so much in sounding like them. Some lyrics are so good but others just... fail. Sorry Coldplay, this isn't your year.
Artist I forgave in 2005:
Green Day
Bullet in a Bible was awesome. For that, I give kudos for you, Green Day. Just don't get any more mainstream.
Most Wanted Tickets in 2005:
U2: "Vertigo/V2/V3 Tour"
I have only one reaction: "TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS???!?" (and yet their concerts are all sold out... :O)
Best Music Documentary of 2005:
"No Direction Home", Bob Dylan

3. "In Your Honor" by Foo Fighters
4. "Devils and Dust" by Bruce Springstein
