View Full Version : Have you ever dropped an anime?

January 4th, 2011, 6:31 PM
What I mean by this is, have you ever tried watching an anime but just stopped because you hated it? and why?

I myself dropped Queens Blade (don't google it kids!) because it was more boobs than plot
I also dropped Kimi ni Todoke because I couldn't stand the art style

I also dropped Queens Blade, about half an episode in. I'm not opposed to more boob than plot anime but QB was bad.

Ouran High School Host Club as well, although i think i'm going to give that another go sometime.

Everything else i've gone back to and finished.

January 4th, 2011, 6:40 PM
I haven't dropped anything yet, but I was pretty close to dropping Heroic Age. I just felt it was the same crap over and over again and not much advanced from the first episode too the end(not that I have finished yet, although I have a few episodes left).

January 4th, 2011, 6:45 PM
Plenty. While I'm not gonna bother listing them, I've dropped quite a bit of series recently. Bleach is probably the longest anime I watched and eventually dropped.

January 5th, 2011, 12:19 PM
I've dropped so many anime... the most significant being Bleach, because I watched it from the beginning, all the way until the 2nd full filler arc, which is well over 200 episodes.

If I check my anime list, there are a total of 34 anime unfinished... if I had to guess, I'd say I won't ever finish at least half of them.

January 5th, 2011, 12:21 PM
Naruto, though I plan on picking back off where I ended.

Shanghai Alice
January 5th, 2011, 2:42 PM
You do know that, as soon as (And because) you said "Don't Google it, kids!", I immediately did so, and found the TVTropes article?

It looks like QB:Arcana Heart as Arcana Heart:...I dunno... Hello Kitty.

January 5th, 2011, 3:44 PM
I dropped Queen's Blade for the reasons mentioned above.
I also dropped Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls because of the same reason as Queen's blade as well as the filtering/effect or w/e it was during the anime. Although the thing that pulled me in was the epic intro.
I dropped Bleach after the bounto thing started. Went to read the manga ever since, and the animation quality is worse. Only time when animation's good is when there are key battles such as Hollowised crazy (dunno how else to call it) Ichigo fought Ulqiorra in his umm...crazy(despair?) form.
I also remember I dropped some Harems cause I couldn't stand the protagonist (long list, don't remember all... xD)

Shanghai Alice
January 5th, 2011, 5:51 PM
Dropped Touhou Musou Kakyou, due to lack of a second episode.

Owait, they're releasing one!

Also, series I've dropped...

Shattered Angels and Steel Angel Kurumi, because... I dunno. Shattered Angels just sucked in general, and I couldn't find the eighth episode of SAK, then realized that I probably wouldn't get anything out of watching it.

K-On!!, because... Well... Though K-On! made a really good summertime anime back in '09, I just can't make myself watch a second season. -_-

One Piece and Naruto, because I forgot about them, and didn't feel like Archive Binging.

Disgaea, because... Well... I watched it because I think the games are fun. I dropped it because it pees all over the games.

January 6th, 2011, 1:04 AM
So far I've dropped 3, but I might drop a few more soon.

~ D.Gray-man
I wanted to get into this, but I think I heard a few people say the anime ended poorly or something. So I just quit watching and... dropped it.

~ Kiss x Sis
I knew I shouldn't have started it, I knew it was going to end poorly for me. But nooo, I thought I'd watch a few eps. Yea I really didn't like it.

~ Needless
Couldn't get into it... that's all there is to it.

I will likely also drop Maria†Holic, the first episode was soooo boring. I'll give it another ep or two, but I can see myself dropping it. I will likely also drop Spiral, I started on this soooooooooo long ago, but it got boring and I quit. But I've never really officially dropped it.

Mario The World Champion
January 6th, 2011, 1:08 AM
I know I have dropped some anime titles before. But I don't know their titles at the moment.

Elite Overlord LeSabre™
January 6th, 2011, 6:56 AM
I know I tried a few episodes of Naruto, One Piece, and Inuyasha on TV and ended dropping them in fairly short order. Oh, and Pokemon too, if you count the fact I gave up on it about a third of the way through Hoenn.

January 6th, 2011, 7:09 AM
Well, while I didn't drop the series, I did drop watching the dubs of several series, including One Piece, Sailor Moon, and Pokémon. XD

As for series in general, I didn't really drop anything. I just have a list of shows that I will "eventually get back to," including Inuyasha, Lucky Star, Ranma 1/2, Tokyo Mew Mew, Full Metal Panic!, and Shakugan no Shana.

January 6th, 2011, 7:24 AM
I dropped Tokyo mew mew/Mew mew power and Pretty cure mainly because they were too girly and really girly things is just not my style or doesn't really entertain me.

January 6th, 2011, 7:51 AM
I watched one episode of Spice and Wolf, then ceased to care. It's like some really boring colonial novel, only it's anime and it involves naked wolf-women.

January 7th, 2011, 3:55 AM
I've dropped a lot, mostly stuff I don't even care to remember about.
Recently I dropped Index/Railgun. And that's all I remember pretty much.

Also remembered I dropped Fortune Arterial.
It's painful when you share your first name with the protagonist. Things get awkward fast.

January 7th, 2011, 6:03 AM
@Arcanine: D.Gray-man didn't end poorly. It was quite an epic ending. Unfortunately (?), it leaves a (craving) taste for more and that's where the manga comes in. Currently that has 202 chapters, compared to the 157/8 chapters that Anime covered. So hopefull the anime'll continue once there's enough new material. :3

And since this topic is not about D.Gray-man, but dropped anime:

Ah! My Goddess
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2
Death Note
Shakugan no Shana II

Stopped watching them because I lost interest or just forgot about them. Naruto wasn't going anywhere after 40 episodes, and I NEED a good plot. >_>
I lost interest in the Pokémon anime, eventually watching only the movies and finally nothing anymore...
Tactics is also on my list of semi-dropped Anime, but I might actually finish that one... sooner or later. Death Note... maybe.

January 9th, 2011, 12:21 PM
I've dropped a couple. I've dropped Inuyasha, because it kinda got... Boring. -_-;
Others I've dropped were RomeoxJuliet (I found it rather... Bad), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Bleach (Ew, I couldn't stand that show after the first episode), Kekkaishi, Ouran High School Host Club (it was terribly annoying and the art style was icky), Fighting Spirit (I still actually want to finish Fighting Spirit, I liked it, just dropped it because of school),and Wolf's Rain. I didn't mean to drop Wolf's Rain, I really liked it but I started it when school started so I kinda fell behind and stopped watching anime for a while ^^; I'll finish it sooner or later, along with Fighting Spirit,

January 9th, 2011, 12:24 PM
Just dropped Light Wing, it was a manga but whatever.

January 10th, 2011, 12:10 AM
Naruto. I got so bored of it after only 7 episodes. Uuugh.
I don't really watch alot of anime (I've only ever seen...3 or 4?) so yeah. D:

January 10th, 2011, 11:57 AM
My Bride The Mermaid. It opened up with so much potential and for a good 8 or so episodes I absolutely loved it but as soon as they changed scenery to the High School I sort of... lost my interest in it. Maybe that's my fault though. It never got "bad" per se just... not as good.

January 10th, 2011, 12:27 PM
Tokyo Mew Mew & Itanza na Kiss - They eventually got really boring.
Sailor Moon - I did enjoy the dub up to the 3rd series when Serena's voice actor had changed. I couldn't stand her new voice.
Ouran High School Host Club - Didn't get as far as the 5th minute of the first episode. I'll watch it again and see if I can get through the series first!

January 10th, 2011, 2:54 PM
Ouran High School Host Club - Didn't get as far as the 5th minute of the first episode. I'll watch it again and see if I can get through the series first!
Same here. I was told that was the rom com anime to see. Didn't make it past a minute or two in.

January 10th, 2011, 4:09 PM
Haven't dropped any yet, but considering dropping Hetalia because it isn't really that great a show, and I've honestly lost interest in it.

January 10th, 2011, 9:03 PM
I guess I droped Hetalia sense I forgot I was watching it in the first place. I also droped pokemon after Johto. And Bobobo bo bobo(?) after the first episode. I guess that's it. I fell like their are a bunch animes that I watched when I was really young but I can't remember any.

January 11th, 2011, 11:38 PM
*checks Dropped list on MAL* Full thing is here (http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Cherrim&status=4&order=0) and some highlights that I can think of some things to say about:

Code Geass (1/25)
UGH ART STYLE IS HORRIBLE PLEASE LEARN SOME ANATOMY AAAAH. I've watched the first episode several times, each time telling myself I'll get over the anatomy and watch it anyway because so many people like it and... couldn't do it.

Fairy Tail (26/?)
My Crunchyroll sub ran out and it was starting to drag on so I stopped bothering with it. :( It was fun while my attention lasted!

Highschool of the Dead (1/12)
Uggh... I tried to like this, I really did, but the fanservice made me uncomfortable and the gratuitous gore/violence made me equally uncomfortable. I just hated it.

Naruto (16/220)
I quickly realized this wasn't worth it.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (3/13)
I tried to watch this but it just... didn't work for me. It was just vulgar Powerpuff Girls. :/ I think it's overrated for what it is but have no problem if people like it. It's just not my thing.

January 12th, 2011, 7:54 PM
I drop anime all of the time because of lack of interest, lack of time, or the episodes drag on. I think I've only finished a few series in my whole life. XD;

Anyway, from what I can remember, I have dropped: Angel Beats, Bleach, K-ON!, FMA, Naruto, Pokemon, Soul Eater, Hetalia, Lucky Star, Bakemonogatari, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Macross Frontier, Rosario + Vampire, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, xxxHolic, etc *do I get a cookie?*

Guhhhh finish Code Geass or else.

January 13th, 2011, 10:46 AM
A lot. But Special A tops my list. I just couldn't cope with the horrible art style; those ridiculously thin and VERY long legs just pissed me off. So, after 10 minutes from the first episode, I decided to drop it. Some recent drops would be:

Fortune Arterial - that cliched concept of a harem anime, amalgamated with a side story that seems interesting at first, but fails to develop and attract watchers, doesn't cut it for me anymore.

Super Robot Taisen OG - I seriously cannot remember why I even started watching this one. This genre doesn't interest me that much, but I wanted to give it a try. Ironically [not really], it simply destroyed itself before I was even ready to assail this "thing".

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo - to be honest, I actually enjoyed it at first. Also, a story started unraveling during the tied episodes, so it was clearly a promising anime. People claimed it was a little too formulaic, but I watched it nevertheless. However, those claims started blatantly flooding my eyes and the repetitiveness perpetuated from the 7th episode. That's just my view on a very good anime that utterly prevaricated its viewers.

...there are more, but they escaped my mind at the moment.

January 13th, 2011, 3:23 PM
I loved Code Geass. SMH.

I don't watch that much anime to have dropped a whole bunch but one that comes to mind that a lot of people liked is HotD. I actually really liked it, I was at about episode 8 or so when I stopped watching it. I was watching each episode as it came out so I guess after waiting the week I just forgot about it and never bothered to get back to it. I should probably pick it up again.

January 13th, 2011, 9:26 PM
I don't think I've ever dropped anything, unless you count anime I've watched a few times on Toonami that I never quite liked enough to watch it.

In that case, Prince of Tennis, MAR, Blue Dragon, etc. I do plan to pick up quite a few anime again, but that will be when I have the time.

January 15th, 2011, 10:59 AM
I haven't really dropped any anime per se, just haven't finish them due to... mainly laziness. However, if there was one anime that I actually did drop, it would have to be Naruto. I got into it, got out of it, and so on several times before I said I was done and dropped it completely.

January 15th, 2011, 6:28 PM
I've dropped plenty of shows way back when because my attention span was very small. More recent examples would probably be FLCL and Strawberry Panic. Watching FLCL just fried my brain in a bad way while SP was painful to watch because of the ludicrous plot.

January 16th, 2011, 1:19 AM
I've only ever dropped two animes.

Bleach & Soul Eater.

I don't get Soul Eater.
I thought Bleach would be good, but after a couple episodes I lost interest.

January 20th, 2011, 9:31 AM
Oh gosh, for this season, I dropped Star Driver, Oni-chan no Koto, Dragon Crisis, and dunno what else. It's not like I don't like them but, I can;t be bothered to watch it unfortunately. Though, I don't know if I can consider it dropped but I stopped watching PS&G and Arakawa S2, too.

January 23rd, 2011, 4:19 PM
Hmm, one anime I remember dropping was Katekyo Hitman Reborn! when the Future Arc started. It got reaaaaaaaally draggy so I just gave up. It's finished now, so I'm just following the manga. xDD;;
I also remember dropping Shakugan no Shana II. It really wasn't that good compared to the first season.

January 24th, 2011, 3:46 AM
I stopped watching Naruto, but I didn't hate it.

January 24th, 2011, 4:06 PM
Anyway, from what I can remember, I have dropped: Angel Beats, Bleach, K-ON!, FMA, Naruto, Pokemon, Soul Eater, Hetalia, Lucky Star, Bakemonogatari, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Macross Frontier, Rosario + Vampire, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, xxxHolic, etc *do I get a cookie?*

/amazed at seeing so many anime i liked dropped at once o_o

ooookay, as for me..
He Is My Master! was the absolute top. i tried sooo hard to finish it, got to episode 8, but couldnt bring myself to watch any further. GODITWASSOSTUPID.

and apart from that i just have several anime that i'd-come-back-to-eventually
BLEACH: stopped around episode 240. irritation cause of the weirdness of the zanpakuto arc.
Tokyo Mew Mew: don't remember when, i just didn't feel like anymore shoujo. figured i'd come back to it once i regained that feel.
Naruto: ... guess i might as well give up. it's so friggin' long and the only reason i wanted to watch it was cause this guy i liked seemed to like it alot XD;

wellthen, that'll do ~

Dark Symphonia
January 30th, 2011, 1:52 AM
Oh yes I did drop animes a lot... but not because they were bad but because I got bored of them after a while. Especially for Gundam Seed Destiny, I could not understand the plot (excessive dialogue) as I started watching from Destiny and not Seed itself. So I just fizzled out somewhere near episode 25, giving up trying to understand the story.

January 31st, 2011, 1:19 AM
according to my MAL account, I've dropped 11 anime series. when I look at them, it seems it was mostly just for a lack of interest in them. Though not all were for that reason.
For listing sake:
.hack//Sign - to be fair I only ever saw it on tv and missed some episodes that threw me out of the loop

Air Gear

D.Gray-man - Its all the main characters fault, he just seemed too...bland for my liking

Dragon Ball - The only reason I dropped this was I just didn't feel like putting the time into completing it

Galaxy Angel

Gokudou-kun Manyuuki

Lucky ☆ Star

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai

Soul Eater

Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector - I think I may of dropped this either cause the subs were bad or there was just too much dialog and I didn't feel like keeping up with it all *shrugs*

Xenosaga: The Animation

January 31st, 2011, 7:36 AM
I have dropped quite a few. the ones i can think of atm are Bleach, naruto, and dnangel.
bleach and naruto i dropped just because i dont have alot of time to watch tv and dnangel because there voices annoyed me and after like the 2nd disk it got boring >.>

Black Prince
February 3rd, 2011, 4:29 AM
I dropped Mai Hime, 'cause I couldn't stand the art style, it was just too different from what I had seen until here.

I also dropped The Tower Of Druaga, for the simple reason that there were some porn scenes, something I really hate.
And the characters were just getting on my nerves, I couldn't stand them !

Hm...I started watching The Broken Blade, though I'm a bit stuck for some reason. I don't know yet if I'll drop it or not, but I think I won't.

Ah, I can't forget them : Naruto and Bleach.
I dropped them because the story doesn't go anywhere.
Well that's what I think.

February 3rd, 2011, 5:02 AM
The ones I dropped:

-Bakugan Gundalian Invaders: I watched the previous Bakugan seasons because I was curious and I thought they were ok. But this season is a mess. The action is not that interesting, the replies are lame and not funny at all, they have gone too far with the alien stuff and so it became boring.
-Basilisk Koga Ninpo no Cho: I lose interest after the first 3 episodes.
-Blood+: the same
-Galaxy Angel: this one was ok, but couldn't find the rest of the episodes
-Love Get Chu: same goes for this one...and I really wanted to see how it ends T_T
-Slayers Revolution: lost interest+not finding the episodes

February 6th, 2011, 7:42 PM
Over the years i dropped quite a few animes, i'll list what i can remember.

Eureka seven - Dropped this twice, don't get me wrong love the anime but always seemed to drop it around ep 40ish for no apparent reason. Eventually finished it on my 3rd attempt of re-watching the series.

Soul eater - Started off great and started to lose interest somewhere in the mid 30's, might pick this up again if i get time.

Le chevalier deon - Really can't recall why i dropped this

Naruto + Bleach - Too many fillers, i still read the mangas though.

Fairy tail - only read the manga now, couldn't like the anime as much when i already knew what was going to happen.

Durarara - Awesome anime, fell behind with the releases and never got around to catching up. Will most likely finish it sometime.

Katanagatari - Same as above

Others - Techxnolyze, monster, baccanno, Aoi bungaku, blood, last exile, kenshin, freezing, read or die

February 9th, 2011, 11:07 AM
Luxky Star - The first episode. Was about. HOW TO EAT A CHOCOLATE CORONET?
Watched a few more episodes after that, couldn't get into it, so yeah I dropped it.

Naruto and Bleach - Pretty much for the reasons everyone else stated. Too many chapters. Too many plot points that just don't seem to be going anywhere. Naruto especially seems to take one step forward and then two steps back just about every arc.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - I watched the first season and I really liked it a lot. I just skipped out on the second season for a lack of interest lawl.

Oh, but Haruhi's annoying. I hear she's better in the light novels, but anime!Haruhi is near unbearable. :c

February 10th, 2011, 8:01 PM
I've dropped 2 anime.

S-Cry-Ed-I watched it 2 times. The second time I was watching it, I stopped watching it because of the language said in it's subtitles.

Neon Genesis Evangelion- Yeah, I did watch most of the episodes, but when I watched the movies, that's when I stopped watching it.

Satoshi Ookami
February 11th, 2011, 8:00 AM
I wouldn't be able to drop anime =)
If I start watching something I'll complete it :)
Sometimes I take a break of watching longer anime but I'd never drop it :)

February 25th, 2011, 5:49 PM
Haven't dropped an anime, well I've never watched Naruto since then now due to my busy schedule so I guess that's dropping?

February 27th, 2011, 7:07 AM
I've dropped a few shows when there's just no point in watching any longer. Most recent example would have to be Rio: Rainbow Gate, stupidly I didn't read any reviews and thought the overview of a tropical casino resort sounded cool. I watched the first episode which was full of boobs, ecchhi fanservice and an absolutely ridiculous nonsensical plot and dropped it straight away.

March 7th, 2011, 12:12 AM
I've finished few and dropped many. I try really hard to find those hidden gems but I can't seem to do it. It's hard to top the emotion of shows like Clannad: After Story, or the over the top epicness of Gurren Lagann. Others try but fall real short or fail really hard when compared to the best. If it's more than 100+ episodes though, won't do it.

Outlaw Star
Soul Eater
D.Grey Man

At least 20 more on the list... lol

Oh, gosh...it appears Naruto and Bleach are permeating the list... :( I'm surprised I'm not seeing much of Pokemon... (now would be a bad time to drop it, IMO)...

Anyway, I haven't really dropped any anime...oh, yeah, there was Zatch Bell... :x Art style was weird and story was...strange. Also, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, though I wasn't really interested going in anyway. Came off as too ripoff-ish with convoluted and inconsistent rules for the card game.

I intend to finish most of the ones I've seen at some point, though. Shows like MAR, Bobobobobobobo, Blue Dragon, Megaman: NT Warrior/Star Force and Spider Riders which got interrupted I'm on the fence about, but I'll probably give them another try.

I now understand why "long-running" anime are discouraged...simply not enough time to catch up these days. >_> Shows I still have to watch:

Naruto (both series; left off right before Sasuke's departure of Konoha in original series)
One Piece
Fullmetal Alchemist (both series; only started first one)
InuYasha (both series; only started first one)
Pokemon (I'm actually catching up with Best Wishes)
Digimon Frontier and Savers (and Cross Wars' dub)
Yu-Gi-Oh! (post Orichalcos arc(s) and subsequent series)
Ranma 1/2
Chrono Crusade (completed manga)
Dragon Ball (entirety)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (uh...at least one of the series. A bit convoluted, IMO >_>)
Death Note
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost In The Shell - Stand Alone Complex, 2nd GIG
Rave Master
Air Gear
Sonic X (Japanese version, though I prefer English voices)
Kirby of the Stars/Kirby: Right Back At Ya!
Eureka Seven
Durarara!! (in progress)
Fate Stay Night
Magical Pokan

Shows that were recommended or haven't started:
Rurouni Kenshin
Code Geass
Gurren Lagann
Buso Renkin (started manga)
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Jinki: Extend (started manga)
DuelMasters (originally was going to dismiss it due to "ripoff" status; might give it a chance due to card game parody)
RahXephon (completed manga)
Wolf's Rain

O_O I didn't even know that I was exposed to that much anime and manga...this hobby is quite massive/time-consuming/addictive...:cer_laugh:

Digimon Kaiser
March 13th, 2011, 11:59 AM
You'll probably hate me for this, but I've almost entirely dropped Pokemon, But the BW series is actually fast paced, with few fillers having nothing to do with the actual plot.

March 14th, 2011, 12:10 AM
Hhhmmm.. I've dropped a lot of anime over time, but some of them were just me getting sidetracked, and never going back, rather than me disliking them.

Here's the few that I remembered off the top of my head, though..

Code Geass - I'll admit, I never finished R2. Had too many spoilers, and still haven't bothered watching the ending.
Naruto - It's why too long, and all I care about his knowing who's alive and dead at the end of it all.
Eureka Seven - Actually did lose interest with this one.
The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Same as above, didn't really hold me in.
Highschool of The Dead - I was disappointed with some of it, as well as hearing that it trailed away from the manga, and had a suck ending.
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl - I wasn't too impressed with Sinnoh at all, kinda like Johto.
Baccano - Got distracted and never finish it.

March 14th, 2011, 7:04 AM
I dropped To Love-Ru after a few episodes. I don't mind the childish humor or large amounts of fanservice, I just felt that it was handled very horribly.

There were quite a few more, but To Love-Ru tops the list because it's just so bad.

March 14th, 2011, 4:30 PM
Pokemon Black and White. Team Rocket is... so dull.
Dragonball GT due to lack of episodes (64 i think) and seasons (only 2).

Rainy Day
March 15th, 2011, 11:48 AM
Bleach, after five episodes. My reasoning is best summed up by saying: too long; didn't finish.

April 2nd, 2011, 2:21 AM
I dropped Naruto after a generous 30 episodes of enduring it. If an anime doesn't pique my interest after 30 episodes, either it's crap or it's taking too long to become interesting. I might pick it up later on if I'm really out of anime to watch. I also dropped Bleach after the current fillers kicked in. I'll definitely pick up on it once the fillers are over, though.

April 2nd, 2011, 4:38 AM
I dropped a four anime, either because I couldn't stand the characters, artwork, or the overall plot.

School Days
Vampire Knight
One Piece

April 25th, 2011, 7:33 AM
Bleach - Wayy too long, and I really didn't get the series much.
Death Note - Why did they kill L?! ;^;
Pokemon - Idk.. It just vanished. Besides, the B/W Pokemon didn't look too cute (except for others). But I'll still watch it sometimes.. xD
Dragon Ball - What's the meaning of this?

...and a whole lotta others, but it's already late here. xD

Mahou Tsukai
April 25th, 2011, 8:37 AM
I can remember watching a few episodes of Hellgirl (jigoku shojo) and dropped it because of it's unpleasant and dark themes.

April 25th, 2011, 8:39 AM
Pokemon - I stopped seriously watching after the Orange Islands. I haven't liked many of the new Pokemon since then. Also, I hated May, Max, Drew, Harley, Dawn, Zoe, Paul, and almost everyone else they found.

Naruto - I watched a few episodes of this when it first came out here in America, but couldn't get into it. You could tell from the very beginning that it was going to be a kids show.

Bleach - It follows the same kind of dragging on story that DBZ and such did: Strong bad guy appears, good guy reaches his power limit and defeats bad guy, even stronger bad guy appears, good guy reaches higher power limit and defeats bad guy, etc. It pretty much goes on like that, but with crappy filler episodes in between.

That's all, really. I don't watch anime, and the few that I have tried were all good.
FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Big O, Detective Conan, Death Note.
Basically all the ones that were/are on adultswim.

EDIT: I think out of those, Death Note was my favorite :D
I love all of the episodes and yes, even the movies. Including the L spinoff.
I also bought a replica Death Note from 399animeshop :3
(It's been years since i've used the :3 emote. At least 4 years. Back in my Neopets days.)

October 26th, 2011, 5:44 PM
I dropped Spice and Wolf 4 episodes in because I discovered Code Geass

October 26th, 2011, 7:51 PM
